Identifying Swingers! - Lots of talk and now some action! :) - Oh Yea that would be great for us guys to wear......... Not really, Come on people.

What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - you know what they say about people in Utah.........lol k & a

Swingers Kickball Society - - This sounds like it would be a blast!! Count us in

sh*t swingers say - to preach to the choir - LMFAO, that is funny as hell! And really, how many times do you here many of those comments at parties?

Tired of Politics and Religion! - - Let me reiterate what others and myself have said.. I also find it funny that people are "tired of reading about politics and religion", when they have the choice whether to read and/or participate in controversial topics. What I have noticed, to the contrary of the minority that complain about these subjects, is that there is far more participation (reading and or writing) with controversial subjects from the majority of this site. This includes the very people that complained. Shit, I mean they actually read the title of the thread, clicked on it, read through it and then take the time to post their judgment of everyone else participating, instead of taking that same opportunity to post in a sex thread or start another topic they deem acceptable for the website. I find a lot less of my friends participate in the forums and on the site all together, when all the forum subjects are sex oriented. Many people, as well as I, find this website to be dry and boring when the only topics in the forum are, "Hey Look at my wife's gaping cooter" or the 10,418, 231, 121st thread about how much some insecure married dude hates single males. This is a sex site and not a single male bashing site right??? HAHA! So instead of going in those threads and bitching and whining like a fucking baby, I create my own... See how that works? Anyway, It's interesting to see in any social group, that there is always someone that tries to limit the group to the boundaries they think acceptable for the entire group. Why are we trying to put conservative limits on a liberal lifestyle? I think boundaries should only be set in matters of legality, privacy and consent. What's interesting is that there are so many conservative swingers here, that would push their ideas of morality and within the rules of this website, try and stifle others freedom of expression and speech. Perhaps you few should quit the lifestyle and go to church. -D-

Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - Our very FIRST experience ever with this lifestyle was down in Vegas. We figured we were out and away from our home town, which mind you at the time, was a small small town where everyone new everyone, and everyone's business. Anyway, we went to Vegas for a night on the town and thought we might go to the Red Rooster and ck it out. I was extremely nervous anyhow because we had never done anything of the sort, and we didn't know what to expect when we went inside. We mustard up the nerve to go in, and went on upstairs to the couples lounge. Just as I was getting comfortable with being there I look up only to see a girl and her husband from none only then our own home town. She new all my family, and to make it worse she lived right by my husband's brother, and I worked at the same store she did just in different departments. I was mortified the whole night long.....I just kept thinking....OMG, here we are, never done this b4, 400 miles from home, at the Red Rooster, and we run into someone that we freaken know. What are the odds??!! The worst part of it, she has the LOUDEST mouth in the whole valley so I just knew she was gonna tell everyone she seen me there at a swingers club. lol Thats just our luck! Needless to say, we got home, I seen her at work, and she said nothing at all. Our family didn't find out, no one we knew found out, and from then on....I just really didn't care that much. Bsides, they were there too....so, I had something on them as well!

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - So this has been discussed a few times, but I'm surprised how few people here have heard of it.. The black-ring on the right-hand has quickly become the new "standard" on how to tell if someone's a swinger in public. (No, it's not a sure-indicator, but it's gaining traction FAST in the swinger community). - It started off as a discussion on Kasidie a few years ago. - Several swingers bloggers and podcasters picked it up and endorsed it. - Almost all of the larger online swinger communities are now endorsing it. - It's even been mentioned a few times on PBTV's show "Swing". - We recently went on a swingers cruise and saw LOTS of couples wearing them. It's actually got some real traction..... The great thing is that it's small. It's cheap. It's not obvious to anyone else. It's easy to 'deny' if you ever ARE caught ("Oh.. I just liked the ring..").. My wife and I both wear them now... But we've never seen them "in the wild" in Utah... We found that they made a great conversation starter. courtesy - dates and communication - When we started swinging there was no internet....not like today where it takes a few seconds to find someone you want to fuck and shoot off an email or a friend request. We had to find a magazine with ads for swingers (at an adult book store), write a letter, probably include a Polaroid pic with the letter and mail it and wait for a reply...which didn't always come. So I guess we kind of were conditioned to not really worry about it too much especially once internet swinging happened and it didn't take so much work to reach out. Now it takes so little effort to contact potential playmates that many people often spam out large numbers of emails in a shotgun approach or do the same with friend requests. We've, sadly, gotten to the point in our swinging career where we DON'T respond to blind friend requests or emails that are obviously sent to multiple people (no mention specifically of us or our profile). We used to respond but found that at least half the time we then got no response in return so we assumed the senders got a BBD (bigger, better deal) and were no longer interested. We really don't get our panties in a wad over it. I kind of look at it like an unsolicited spam email from someone wanting to clean my carpets. I really don't feel a great need to respond even though it would be the POLITE thing to do. Although I am seriously considering writing back to that Nigerian prince who wants to give me a million bucks. [em]Emo_67[/em] That said, blowing someone off after making plans to meet is a douchecopter move and (barring a REALLY good excuse proffered in a timely manner) will quckly get someone on our permanent no fly list. Yup, we're assholes that way. [em]Emo_84[/em]

Can REAL FRIENDSHIPS in the Lifestyle TRULY exist? - More than just meeting and having fun - We believe you can have swinger friends as \"real\" friends. We have several couples that we consider to be our real friends. A couple of them, we have been to their house and they have been to our with both of our kids around and did as any other \"vertical\" couples would be. One couple especially, we\'ve been to their house with our kids and their kids were home on many occasions for a pool party, for labor day, for even their oldest\'s graduation, gone to a comedy club with other swingers as a group and just to get together and hang out. They have helped us move our belongings from house to house when we moved across town. We keep in touch alot even if its through a IM\'s on a messenger. The ones we consider friends are the people that want to be friends in and out of the bedroom. And we seem to pull it off with the right people that way. Just have to find the right combinations. Plus it seems the area we live in, we have a great community of swingers, so it makes it easier to be friends in/out of the bedroom. Jerry and Jen

Bitchfest here...... - - Having been in this lifestyle for quite some time, I've seen more than my share of drama. I think the most common misconception is that everyone is on the same mindset. This is not the case for most. You would think that going to a meet and greet set up on a Swinger's site would be a license to "Act" like swingers to anyone you recognize from the site in a public setting. However, I've learned quickly that because everyone responds differently, it is best to assume nothing and take nothing for granted and put on your thickest skin and expect drama. If nothing happens, and you make a connection with some one or both, then build from there and have fun. I have more fun when I go with no expectations and have them wildly exceeded, than to go full on and have the evening ruined through taking drama filled responses personal. However, I don't think that because some people may have jealousies, that they have the right to treat people rudely. I think there are many who can work on this a bit more and realize that we are all in this to have some fun.
