Not getting much action on here - - Swingsites, I think, are dying a slow, painful death and one day in the not too distant future will probably cease to exist. We've been on a number of sites since the early days of the interwebs and most have gone under...and the two we're still on are in danger of becoming extinct.
There are just too many other platforms and apps that make it easy for people, especially younger swingers who are already predisposed to use those methods, to find and hook up with other people. It's really too bad because swingsites offer an arguably better, more discreet, way for people to browse other's profiles and pics in relative safety before they decide to venture off to meet.

Playboy's Swing is what got us into the lifestyle. We were watching it one night.. Got us thinking and then talking... next thing you know... Had a bumpy start, but things are great once we get past the medical issues (non-contagious!! LOL).
Tired of Politics and Religion! - - Strange - was this forum not here when those that object to it joined? Having been on this site for a long time (first as MelbCpl and now as Swingtide) as far as I can remember it has always had one area that was open to discussion of things like religion and politics. Sometimes we read them and sometimes we ignore them - choice is good. At least to us Swingular is not just a "sex site" but a swinging lifestyle site and for some of us that is more than how many notches you put on your bed during the last party. If anyone wants the other topics to show up more in opening page than make more input into the other areas of the forum. Start new topics in other areas and work to keep them going.
Everyone has their own view of what swinging is all about and that is good - I'd hate to think we had to pass some checklist of qualifications to consider ourselves swingers. The site has room for all types of discussion so enjoy the areas you like and avoid the ones you don't like - not too far off from how most of us deal with what couple we want to be with! Personal choice and allowing other the same freedom of choice seems to fit the idea of the lifestyle :-)
The epitome of poor taste - - As Eric and I have always said there is someone for everyone in the lifestyle! That's what makes it so much fun meeting all the different types of people who are in it.
Some people think this lifestyle should only be ken and barbie well in fact REAL swingers come in all shapes and sizes, age and races.

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger - The thing is, even though people in the vanilla world may know about something like black rings on the right hand, they probably won't notice it, especially with all the people wearing multiple rings nowadays. Most people just aren't all that observant. On the other hand, swingers who know about it will probably look for them. And if someone who doesn't also have one on asks you what's with the black ring, you can just say,"I like it." And if they then say "Did you know that it can mean ....?", you can say something like "Why do you think that?", or "Where'd you hear that?", which can lead to them saying they swing, or let you get out of the conversation without admitting anything yourself.~ Terry
