I think you two should keep at it as well. :) You are young and full of energy. Most of us older swingers wish we had the open minds, you do, when we were your age. There are plenty of people that you can connect with both old and young, that don't pay attention to the age thing. With respect to being close friends, you will have factors like experience and maturity factors that come into play. You're at a different stage in your life than older people and more often than not, this can limit your interaction and ability to identify. That being said, you should keep going. If someone's too old (in their mind), to hump ya, then they're just plain ole too old. hahaha ;) Good luck and have fun.

Too Young? - Are we just too young... - I personally don't think you're too young. However, you have to ask yourselves this. Are there couples here that you would consider too old? I have a son your age. I am 39 this year. Sexually speaking, I don't think any age above 18 is off-limits. However, not everyone is in the lifestyle just for sex alone. Many want friends etc. Age [u]usually[/u] dictates one's maturity level. Not always. Most older swingers will shy away or be leery of young swingers because, 1) Swinger parties have alcohol. 2) Maturity or lack thereof. 3) Insecurity about their aging faces/bodies compared to yours. What if??? - Some body's worst night mare. - 1. I know someone else in my family that are swingers. Not my parents although I highly suspect they have engaged in such activities in the past.
2. I have run into various family members (siblings, cousins, etc) at m&g's and parties. Awkward for a minute and then we laughed it off and we have the understanding that we don't out them to others and they don't out us to anybody either. Although technically my mom knows anyways as I've had random discussions with her in the past.
We never ran and hid. Its handled tactfully. We try to keep our personal sexual adventures private in general and its understood that "keep your mouth shut around family and friends that dont know and we'll do the same." It works.
