Some history and info that was very interesting to me.
My Dad, who has been a swinger for over 30 years, said that back in the early 70's (back when all they had to hook up with was a couple of magazines!) the 2 hot spots for swingers were California - Duh! and Utah - What?

Age differences - How do you handle it - I don't want to start a controversy, and then it cums, Why would age be an issue at all. Isn't the idea of swinging, first of all, about having fun with fantasy, and then there is the idea that swinging is not a mainstream activity; i.e., Not along the idea of "Normal" relationships or sex. Age is one of the norms in society and thus, I would think, one of those things that would go out the window if one is involved in swinging.
I bring this point up simply to hear why age would be an issue... I'm sure that there are people who are old and wrinkled and have bad breath and their plates are falling out and even the queen sized outfits or the XS lingerie would not fit....I mean if the lady is leaving 2 trails behind her, in the sand and she is getting her nipples scraped by that sand AND her plates are dirty and falling out and she had halatosis... Maybe she would not meet criteria to play with... unless one is in the same home with her and she snuck into your room and gave you oral sex while you were asleep. Or maybe it's the guy with the shriveled member, and that's after viagra and Enzyte and 2 other products, and he has slipped into your room and given you oral, and of course you are a lady....But Age should not be a single defining factor as to weather to play or not....
On the other end of that when people are "too young" . Are they out of diapers, eat solid food, over the legal age in your neck of the woods, and know what sex is and they have not stopped any clocks or watches in their immediate vacinity... They should be fair GAME.... I use the word game because it also denotes play which is what swingers call sex with others, other than their spouse....
So, how is age an issue or how does it become an issue...????? Of course there is preference but why close down oportunities.....????? Seems kind of counter productive to lose oportunities.

Friend collectors or swingers - - It’s perhaps a cognitive behavioral issue? Not just in the lifestyle, but in general, people sometimes, often, always, depending on the person will think their emotional responses are logic based, or pure logic. How we feel isn’t how it is. Still, we can’t escape our emotions. When we have a mismatch in emotions, more often than not, it’s not a black and white whose right and whose wrong scenario. That’s our experience. We bungled that in past presents, but in the now a few miscommunications, in retrospect we’re valuable in their own way. It seems to us that people who understand that are perhaps more apt to embrace, acknowledge and enjoy their emotions, without harboring deep resentments over all the mismatching of emotions, they will encounter in the lifestyle and life in general.

Where Should we go? - Have flight vouchers, where is a good swinger spot? - We've been to Hedo in Jamaica, Desire in Cancun, Caliente Caribe (formerly Eden Bay) in the Dominican Republic and the Swingers Cruise - all destinations multiple times.
Our experience says it doesn't matter where you go as much as who you go with. Since there is never a large contingency going from Utah, we always try to book when there is a takeover by a group.
Every time we have been adopted as soon as we got there just as if we had always been part of their group. We also usually go the week of Halloween. It's always a nasty celebration and it's at the very end of hurricane season. We've come close but have never had trouble with the weather yet.
I think Desire in Cancun is the easiest resort to push the rules to the limit. Hedo II in Jamaica would be second. The former Hedo III in Jamaica was a bit more restrictive. Caliente Caribe has recently become lifestyle friendly after Eden Bay was purchased by Caliente Resorts. Before, they were just a nudist resort. The swingers cruises allow nudity on the pool decks but you have to be dressed anywhere else on the boat with the exception of the playroom which is on one of the lower decks. Also, you usually have to remain dressed on the day the boat is port until that evening when the boat sails. Some ports are exceptions when the boat is anchored far enough away and they take you to shore on tenders.
If you like to take pictures of you and your partner on vacation, Desire is the most friendly. Hedo really frowns on pictures even if they are of you or someone in your group with their permission. We have managed however, to accumulate thousands of digital shots from all the resorts combined over the last few years.
We have had a blast at each resort/cruise and will continue to go back. But, we've found that it's all what you make it.
Any swingers advise for Spain? - Swing clubs in Madrid - Advice? Yes. Stay away from anyone using those castanet things when your naughty bits are hanging out. Looks like a painful accident just waiting to happen. [em]Emo_8[/em]

Good feedback. It looked like where the group was camping was not in a designated campsite, but more dispersed camping. Sounds like it would be fun and secluded enough for good times.
