Bubulaplease - Confidentiality -
Something that has bothered me a little bit...when we went to Lumpys the doorman asked if we were there for the Sinful event. We says yes and as we were walking down the stairs some people upstairs asked him what was going on and he said it was a swingers party. I mentioned it to a few people that night and it seemed that it was a normal occurrence. We realize that going to the events we may run into someone we know, however, people who don't know about our lifestyle also go to lumpys. I would hate for them to know there was a swingers party going on and then see us leaving or something. My question..is this normal? Is it this way at, say, Sandy Station? Do the group organizers ask for confidentiality?
Unfortunately its naive to think a doorman would actually be told how to respond or give it much thought otherwise. Its unlikely they care unless they know it would jeopardize the business these events bring in. We realize the risk of being found out but we also realize that deniability is just using the right words should you ever fall into the circumstance of being asked if you where there for the swinger event at Lumpys. So our response for someone vanilla that we know would be OMG can you believe we wondered into to that event...wow what a funny mistake(as we laugh both inside and out). Many people would prefer to not put themselves in the situation but its always best just to have a game plan on how to react for judgmental vanillas.

Orchard Place - Event info -

That's not a bad price by weight.
Are you implying that entrance to a swingers event should be by the pound? Like.. the same way you buy a watermelon? $0.25 a pound, perhaps? "Welcome!!! Step on the scale...... Okay... that'll be $42.20 for the two of you.." Genius!!!!
This would motivate people to get naked a lot faster...can weigh yourself with clothes on.

Swinging versus poly/open - - I'm speculating here, but it seems the millennial generation as a whole is more open to an open/poly relationship, and it naturally is bleeding into Swingular as more and more younger/ish couples sign up. We started out with very strict rules about emotions for others, ect. Now, we find ourselves on a spectrum where we still occasionally love the "wham bam, thank you mam" aspects of swinging (what were their names again...😁?), but after several years of that, we are now far more interested in developing relationships with the people we meet. Sometimes that means we have really good friends with benefits, however neither of us are closed to the possibility of dating the right person. And I don't believe dating others leads to divorce, however not being honest and failing to communicate certainly does. And that applies to swingers and monagamous couples alike.

BUSTED! Your Kids Found Out Your Swingers. Now What? - -
Our daughter figuered it because of the handle. Turns out she and her husband are in the lifestyle. We have been to a party with them. A little odd but funny. The other two kids proably know but don't say anything they just accept the fact we are who we are.
Hahaha...yes we can attest to the little bit of awkwardness at first with both the parents and the child with their spouse in attendance at our party...but it actually ended up being fun and pretty comical... Now our kids (girl 11 1/2 and 2 boys 13 1/2 and 16 1/2) are pretty smart...they know we chat online, my daughter even caught me with my top off...I told her I was showing someone my piercings...they know we have friends over so they have to go for a sleep over or that we have parties that they CAN NOT be around...my daughter asked me one day what "swingular" was cuz she saw the banner across my open lap top...I told her it was just a chat site we belong to and explained that's where we have met many of our new friends...I know she isn't stupid and will soon put 2 and 2 together but I also know if she has questions she will ask...we have tried to raise our children with a very open and accepting attitude...as far as the boys go...I think they might know but choose to not bring it up...I know they will one day when their ready, and we will answer all their questions honestly...we will give them the same honesty and respect that we expect from them....kisses...Naugh-Ty (and Lucky B)

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - I don't think anyone is saying you should give single guys a try. No matter whether you motivations are insecurity, racism or just plain not turned on by it, you shouldn't feel pressured into something you're not into. However, it's not cool to come into a thread that's directed to those that are interested in them and spread intolerant messages about them, because you don't like them. In other words, it was an AB conversation C your way out. LOL! I don't mean that directly to you AKLIM. I mean that to anyone that would make it their mission to spread intolerance of a group out of sheer spite. That kind of shit should no exist in our community. No one is asking anyone to do something they're not willing to do, but on the same token, don't get on a soap box and spread hatred of anyone, just because you don't agree. If a single guy is at a party and you pack up and leave because you've got this preconceived notion that all single males are pigs and are just waiting for you to take a piss, so they can approach your wife, while you're away... I say this... 1) So what? Is your wife not capable of handling herself? 2) Are you not capable of saying, "Hey, Sorry man, we're not into single guys." I see that as no different that taking care of a couple you're not interested in. Quite frankly, there are far more asshole, disrespectful men in couples that we've encountered, then the single variety. I know of a very respectful single male in the West Valley area that was a total gentleman and opens his home to couples so that they have a haven to party naked! lol. -D-

swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - TR and VIRGIN, Why do you take everything said on this forum personally? Is it for the same reason your guilty conscience knows its you I'm speaking about? Delusions of grandeur. What I said was maybe we would have a few more interesting topics and opinions if you would stop attacking everyone that doesn't agree with you. Is this productive? Do you really feel you have accomplished something? I know YOU crave controversy, and fighting, but don't you dare speak for me, the majority of people don't crave controversy, they wish you would stop posting so the forum could be fun. I pass up your meaningless, ridiculously long posts all the time, maybe you could try practicing what you preach and pass up some forums, and let US have some "freedom of speech" what do you say?

Curious Question - - Welcome to NV Poohbear!! Living in Elko we have the luxury of being within driving distance to our friends in Salt Lake City AND in Reno. Reno does have 3 swingers clubs, tho they arent anything compared to the ones in Las Vegas and other areas. There are SEVERAL swingers groups in the Reno/Tahoe area as well as yahoo member groups there. We belong to a few of them....if you are interested let us know and ill send ya the links to the ones we belong. I'm sure once you get settled you will love Reno as much as we love visiting it!! Best of Luck!!

Paranoia Strikes Again - -
Her security clearance level would be impossible for any of us on this site to predict. It all depends on what they decide she will know that they don't want the rest of the world to know. That will be determined by the unique particulars of the job she will be doing. Unless someone on here has done the exact same job, it's a rare person who will have the knowledge you're searching for from us. And Cheffette is absolutely correct. They will find everything possible on you, and mostly from those who know you. "Why don't you like pie? Your 5th-grade cafeteria monitor said you threw yours at another kid." Yes. They will check that out. They will scour all your social media, probably even hack your computer (maybe they're doing it right now as you're asking these very questions of us). Anything that can compromise your wife enough to make her give away secrets will be checked and they will ask you about it. That's regardless of a Secret or Top Secret status. Does everyone around you know you're swingers? What would you do to keep them from finding out? Sell secrets? That's what they'll be asking themselves. If she thinks she may not get the job by being on Swingular, You should probably delete the account, scrub your hard drive and stop telling people on the forums about your wife's impending security clearance background check. You may be doing more damage than you think, and, if they do find that you're on here, posting this in the forums, they will see that you aren't capable of keeping your own private matters under control which will make her undesirable and a risk to them. Good luck!
That's why I'm wondering if anyone knows anythng about that job. Clearance levels are assigned to different jobs, whether someone's military or a civilian. Although it isn't too unusual for somone to start with one clearance then have to get a higher one if their job or resonsibiities change. Like they start out as a worker bee on something with just a Secret but some years later become a supervisor over others doing that same job, and have to have a Top Secret. Or like when I reenlisted in the Army in '79, all I needed for my job was a Secret. Then they later sent me to a school in Monterey for a different kind of job, and I needed a Top Secret with a Sensitive Compartmented Information endorsement, so they did one of those Special Background Investigations.

Las Vegas looking for swingers info. - - We recently joined http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Green_Valley_Lifestyles (a Vegas based swingers group) to get to know more about the Las Vegas scene. We can't tell how productive this will be but it is worth looking into. Good hunting, Lauri and Charles
