raw statistics can be flawed. You show me stats that say today in LA, 1000 pitbulls attacked children and only 400 were committed by other various breeds. What does that tell you/me??? It says nothing of the circumstance. Were the animals mistreated and trained to attack??? How many pits are trained to fight???? Show me your stats. Stats can be skewed to fit the bias. Show me some.

Entice 2007 in Niagra Falls - We will be at the Entice convention, 10 to 14 Oct. - Hi all!

Are you more or less tolerant? - - Are we attracted to a wider range of appearance and form? Yes, but I think that has more to do with experience and how that can expand our taste. Whereas swingers have opportunities for more experiences with the human form, up close and personal, they should discover a few new likes and attractions leading to a more expansive taste and appreciation for variety.
Intolerant is a strong word. I don't ever remember not being able to tolerate someone's appearance. Why would someone's appearance offend you? Being rejected can offend us and hurts, but we cannot be attractive to or attracted to everyone. Not being attracted to someone is not necessarily unfriendly but intolerant of someone is. It seems that the people that seem most intolerant toward someone due to their appearance are those that perhaps have gotten caught in the it's us against them trap. Maybe that has more to do with the fear of loss and rejection if people that look different should win (As if there are not enough of us to go around.) than any real aversion to the other sorts with a dissimilar appearance.
Peer pressure is sometimes a negative influence within all sorts of societies. People sometimes voice distasteful comments about others for the rewards a group in power and control can afford them for speaking in line with their spin. Such is the case with the media in Salt Lake City.

How to identify yourself as a Swinger - - FWIW we're on several other swing sites and one of them has an app for your smartphone that will alert you if you are close to another swinger (assuming they also have the app and it's enabled) and allows you to text them. Yeah, that one's pretty much been a bust as well even though it's actually a pretty good idea. People forget to turn it on (they usually don't leave it running when they're at work or home or at church just in case someone they really don't want to know they're a swinger somehow has the app) when they're actually in a vanilla situation where they wouldn't mind being approached. I don't know if the idea failed because people want privacy or because there really aren't that many swingers out there (despite all of our fantasies and "swingdar"). LOL

Family Swingular Members - OMFG and you do a search and see a close family member on the list..... - No family, but I suspect my parents were before my dad passed. I have run in to swingers out and about 3 times. One I work with, one we were riding Trax after a Blaze game when they shut the train down and stranded us and one at another Blaze game I was at with my father in law and brother in law and we had seats right next to each other.
So, Blaze games seem to be the trigger for us.
Original humans as swingers? - Provocative theories based on Bonobo sexual behavior - I have actually found this to be true, quite recently in fact. My wife and I were at a rough time in our marriage and simoultaneously happened upon another woman that we both really enjoyed (who is also QUITE gorgeous). After a while of all getting to know each other, we welcomed her into our home and she became our full-time 3rd. Within mere days of her joining us, the conflict between my wife and I just faded. While the 2 ladies love each other dearly, there seems to be between them a friendly sort of competition for my affections at any given moment. Therein, they are both perpetually on their "best behavior". It's a communal, free and open relationship now and everyone gets along even better than what was already a great marriage. There is no guilt and no jealousy, just love and friendship. It's awesome and stands as irrefutable evidence that "civilized, modernized sexuality" is not the natural state of the species. Thus ends my rant, good day to all.
See life issues please help - Wife needs help understansing - I wanted to comment on a specific thing the OP said; many swingers are not swingers because they were "bored". Imagine a couple that vacations every year to the south of France and have a wonderful time, but one year decide to try Puerto Rico. Did they do something new because they were bored with their usual spot? No, they were looking for an adventure, to meet new people, to experience something different. Most swingers, the ones that are in a good place, are happy in their lives and also want to explore and expand their horizons. If you are afraid your spouse is "bored" with you then everything in the swinger lifestyle is going to appear more exciting and this is a recipe for jealousy and resentment. Remember that NRE is electrifying and exciting but ORE is just as valuable, if not more; it gives us real joy and comfort and that is sexy too.
