It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. What makes it unique is the book seems very objective and was written by a non swinger doing his research as an observer of the lifestyle. Look at the "who's online" button under the SEARCH/BROWSE tab. There are plenty of people online right now seeking single males. Granted they are the minority, but from my locale, the search brought a 20-30% return per page, for those seeking single males.
Again, it's not up to you or I to dictate what it sexually acceptable for everyone else. If that were the case swinging should be outlawed because we sure as hell are not the majority compared to the rest of the country.

Unanswered emails - Why do people not take the time to respond? - Well we have to agree with everything \"CHAMMY-FL\" wrote ..we too find ourselves busy in life with working out,working,running 2 of our own forum boards as well..so we only seem to answer e-mails from cpls that strike us right away...when we have time we will then go through cpls profiles and pictures.
We are not hardcore swingers(which means we do not need to be in the lifestyle every weekend)

Amusing Story about bad planning - Notice nobody asked the swinger\'s opinions - Let\'s see, 13 and younger wandering the hotel on New Years Eve un escorted by parents. Where were the parents and why were they not doing a better job of keeping track of the kids? There are far scarier things in hotels late at night than swingers. Recently, right here in Orlando a pedifile was arrested after attacking a teen age girl.
thoughts on Pictures - - I have to agree that just a genital shot for an opener is not very good. But I have also seen face shots that look like mug shots and sure are not much more interesting. Come on, this is a SWINGERS site!!! After all the object is to promote our involvement in this lifestyle. Our profile and pics are supposed to tell something about us. My wife likes to pose, and I enjoy taking her pictures. We try to use pics that show how we feel, or how we want to be precieved in the lifestyle. We get lots of feed back telling how they like her smile, or how we look like a fun couple. It makes us feel good that people enjoy what we have to share with them.
Some people have no pics at all, others have one, or just a few dull shots, or the close up genital shots. Put something into your albums, and you will get more out of this site, and maybe this lifestyle. Thats my opinion.
