I am from Amesfoort, Holland. I moved to Utah when I was young and grew up in SLC in the winter, returning to Holland some summers. (A unique perspective)
Now with my wife, I have not meet any LDS swingers. But our circle of friends is not LDS ether. But while I was single I meet many Mormon girls that a great interest in me. Some tried to convert me (HAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH.... no)
and some had no intention of converting me, although may have used it as an excuse to talk to me.
There are many benifiets for staying in the church, and growing up non-lds can be a lonely affair in Utah.
I think that many pretend to believe, because they need the support of the community, friends, and family.
But many do want they want behind closed door. And I am sure the Internet is a great escape for them as well.
I have been far and wide in this world, and most people are all the same. Yeah they may not be that open but everyone has to get to their own freedom in their own way and own time. So many of them just chat, and disappear when it comes down to meeting.
But in my single days I had girls from the church meet me in private, and well. :) I used to like to think that is was because I was a hottie. but I think I have come to realize it was them who was hot, and needed release, and trusted me to be quiet about it.
I am sure many think about swinging. But I doubt many would even talk to their spouse about that. The one issue I have with the Church is that they tend to control through fear, and I bet many guys and girls would like to bring up the topic. But fear their spouse will freak and they will be in front of the bishop.
Most be a scary place to be, I am very lucky to have been raised in a very liberal, open, agnostic home.
That upbringing seems to leave so many insecurity's, and doubts about ones self.

Meeting new swingers? - Where to meet them? - we are very friendly people . we say hi to everybody we see out and about . yes we meet alot of people at parties , but we also meet alot of people just doing everyday life things . going and picking up the pizza and having a hottie at the counter . ill give them my email add. standing in line in a store . hey WHY NOT WALMART . ?????/ wal mart is the store for everthing . i spend alot of time in walmart . i dress up pretty and go shop and just talk to people all over that store . now they made one with a supercenter also . so now i get ot make my nipples hard and tease...... ha ha
iam a swinger 24 -7 . i think the best way to see people for who they really are is to meet them out and about . at the club they are going to be dressed nice . and on their best behavior . at work they are going to be prof. but in everyday life they are them . and thats the easiest way to really get to know them . the woman in a pair of jeans and a tank top and tennis shoes turns me on a lot more then everybody in a club all dressed sexy . u know why cause something about her made me stop and look . and that just narowed it all down for me . so i will go up and say hi . and talk a bit and if we click then i will give them my email add. and tell them i would love to get to know them better . and its not about sex . cause i play with very few people . but when u click with someone its so cool and it feels right . hell we had a single mom talking and hitting on us when we went trick or treating ..... their is people all over . spend life with the ones that are fun and u click with . all u have to do is say hi . and u might meet a new friend . to me that makes it alot easier then to try to meet someone at a party or on line . all u have is a profile that hopefully they got to write out and it wasnt one of those stupid 3 answers to a question . and then u have to hope they answered it honestly . which by the way some dont . and some change stuff and then forget to tell u about it . or post about it . and then u have try to see if someone u picked from a few pics and a profile clicks with u . thats very stressful to me . i would rather pass out my number all over walmart and hope for the best .

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - We would attend as well about 2x a month or so. The ones we've been to in Las Vegas were fun but one was dirty and nasty. I would think a good dance area along with a pool table and seating area along with play rooms would be great. A big community type play room as well as individual play rooms or a room with windows would be fun. The main thing is keeping it clean! There's nothing worse than going into a dirty, disgusting play area.

How long did it take to convince ? - - We talked about the fantasy of being in the lifestyle together before we started it. As said before, fantasy and reality are two different things. We weren't ready for a date with another couple yet because we were afraid of expectations or problems arising from things that we hadn't thought about. So, we thought going to a swingers club might be a good way to learn about it. There are no expectations and we could ask advice from others.
But, we were so paranoid about running into someone we knew at a club here in Vegas, where we live. So, we decided to check out the possibilities out of state. lol. We went to Sea Mountain Inn in Palm Springs. It was the first time we were both completely nude in front of others. That was a great beginning as we quickly realized that no one was staring at us. We actually became very comfortable quickly. We did notice a lot of sexual activity. But again, that activity seemed normal to everyone there. We met a lot of great people who were willing to give us friendly advice. We commented how everyone seemed so normal. Even though we went with no expectations, we were given an opportunity to be with another couple, who had a nice "no Pressure" style. Privately, my wife and I discussed our boundaries or any other concerns. After we worked it all out, we agreed to play with the couple and loved it! Ten years later, we are so glad we joined the lifestyle.
So maybe, you should try coming to Vegas and go to a swingers club. Check out the scene, talk to some people, and form your own opinions. The club will be as tame or as wild as you want it to be.
Eden House - What's it like, honestly from people that have attended? - Does anyone have anything good to say about Eden House? We were thinking about checking it out one of these weekends. Where we lived before we had 3-4 options for swingers clubs to go to. All of which had sex on premise. From what I've read Eden House is a "church". What gives? What's the average age would you guys say of people that attend? Is it like a bad 70's porno where you walk in and it's all 45+yrs and over weight with molestor-staches and 5 rolls a girl?
Any Sci-Fi lovers here? - What\'s to describe? Either you like a good sci fi TV series or movie or you don\'t. - I'm a voracious reader. Love most Sci Fi movies and TV(not to be confused with TV's). Love the Dr No series but several of the Dr's we not as good as others. Hated the Darlic series but liked most of the Master ones. I wonder why Heinlein's books were never made into movies most are quite good. C.S. Lewis, Athur C Clark, Asimov all super writers. Martian Chronicles, SG, SG Atlantis... Too many to mention... The day the Earth Stood Still with Michael Rennie...Rocketman Seriels in the movies from the 40's and 50's. Who remembers Rocky's Rocket Rangers from 50's TV brought to you by Ovaltine and if you sent so many jar seals into the show you could get the decoder ring for the secret messages.....
Sci Fi has been predictive of future events for so long...Lazers, Rocket ships, Rocket packs, And a statement in Forbidden Planet; " the taped thrillers of the 20th century" Filmed in Eastman Kodac color and in 1956 or maybe 65 but long before video tape was available...The special effects were awsome ...no computer generated things.... And the landing scene... note the shadow and the bubbliing earth and dust.....all hand done animation. And Robbie the robot... a mechanical wonder for it's day...
