Simply put, if you don't fit in to the predominant culture (conservative, religious, Caucasian) you might not be happy here. Not that there aren't liberal, non-religious, non-white people here, but many locals look down on anyone who is 'different.' Also with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, and with less jobs available than most places, it might be difficult to find work in Utah.
