What is up with Swingular and Drama? - - OK let me start off by saying this is an IN GENERAL post. Swingular was the first swingers site we joined. We only come around here now pretty much to be amused. The reason for this is that we can't read more than 3 threads on the home page with out encountering MAJOR DRAMA. The people on here (in general) seem to have a favorite past time of arguing with each other and inciting others to join in the mary fun. We repeatedly have come to the conclusion that this is the one aspect of our lives were the sole purpose is FUN and RELAXATION. I don't know about anyone else but arguing and drama and and anything else negative in the LS is just utterly ridiculous and reading the first four post on the thread labeled "porn mail" today just reminded me why we only come here for amusement.
Vanilla Party pickups - Vanilla Party pickups - I doubt it, unless they are already in the lifestyle and attending as vanilla. I have known people that were not in the lifestyle do it with someone that they have known for a while but you would not consider and they do not consider themselves swingers. So maybe it is possible. If it happens to you let the rest of us know.
Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - Okay.. so we\'ve been wondering.. and along the same lines of a couple of other \"swingers & friendship\" posts. Do you all meet people (swingers) off here & other sites etc for anything other than sex?
And if so what do you all do together?
and as someone else posted (thankyou whoever you are) in one of the other threats. When you first open up sexually with people you really don\'t know if they are going to be friends (espiecally if your meeting someone first time at a club or offline)... So what do you do?

So far our swinging experience has been with 4 people, one long term friend who before and after we continued to meet for drinking, meals, bowling, cinema, fire\'s in the desert and just hanging out (no sex). The next we meet a couple of times for drinks and dinner before getting sexual and haven\'t had chance to re-meet yet. Following that it was definatly a one time only (not our intention, but we were lied too) and the verdict is still out on the 4th. Of course we we like #2 & #4 to become friends to hangout with benifits when they happen, but we\'ll have to wait and see.
Does anyone else wonder about this stuff?

We like to think that we're doing what makes both of us happy. If that makes us swingers or polyamorous, or whatever, then that's cool with us. Our label we give ourselves isn't important, nor do we care about it.
We beg to differ. That label is important from certain standpoints. Now, if you meet us and tell us you are a poly couple seeking a poly relationship, we can tell you it won't go far since that is not what we want. That way, you know it isn't going anywhere fast and so do we. No need to drag it out for a while and then "I thought you...." or "I got the impression.....". If I am looking for a certain type of relationship, isn't it better to know up front and not waste anybody's time and get hurt feelings?
