Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - My experiance,I think it has to do more with that label that we as a married cpl put on single guys.... I think that (by my experiance) 75 to 80% of the single guys are pushy....
example: I blocked a single guy not too long ago because he was obnocxious on his e-mails... well he got my yahoo screenname from a group discussion post and IM'd me today.... now with a diferent approche.... he was so dumb as to tell me, "for some reason you have me blocked... I can't see your profile or your pics".... that was it... hello if you are blocked on the site that means I don't want to talk to you.... tahdah... blocked again on another site...
Some guys just don't get the hint and keep pushing, that is why WE don't care for single guys... our time is precious and to waist it on someone like that... no use...
Now, I know that for SOME (not all) it is a racial thing... for SOME it might be the reports of the CDC or just the screename like one of the cpls mentioned... I think everyone has their own reason as to why NOT wanting to play with single men.
To each their own but I think they should be more polite on letting the guy know why, unlike my self calling him a stupid fucker for trying again... That is just my humble opinion...lol

These people are kind, caring, successful people who I would love to have any of them as my neighbor. They have never tried to drag, lure, or trick, me. They have there rules of ethics, where no means no and they abide by it. At other parties I have attended I have had men keep hitting on me when I told them I was not interested, now to me that is wrong and disrespectful.
As a foot note; on a so called regular internet dating site I had over 120 men contact me and close to a half wanted a sexual relationship. So how is the 70 men a shocking figure? It pretty much what happens on the internet whether it is swingers or not. Its just on swinging sites they truthfully admit they are married instead of hiding it.
You may not have wanted to have heard my views and experience with these people. But I could not sit back and have them portrayed as something they are not, it would be wrong to do so. Sincerely Joanne D
Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - I agree on the difference between swinging and poly relationships. Both have their advantages at times, and their disadvantages. They are separate things, not to be intertwined, as some ppl do. Just like some swingers will do only certain things, I think that poly has many different ways to make it work, you just have to find the right ppl to be in that type of relatioship with.
I would think it would be hard to combine swinging and a poly relationship, but then I have not really tried it. Being a single female, I either get contacted by single or married guys wanting a good time, or usually some guy wanting a second female for his "harem". (Sorry guys, but just cause we are in Utah does not mean women won't want a 'harem' too! IMO). Dont get me wrong, I love sex, no strings thing is good, but is also nice to know someone cares about you and you care about someone too.

How to identify yourself as a Swinger - - LOL, yeah this subject...or fantasy (and the black ring, or the ankle bracelet, or the...(insert urban legend here)) crops up every few months or so. Bottom line, no matter how hard people want to find a way to ID other swingers in public it won't happen. Let's say for a minute that all or even just most swingers DID agree somehow on some kind of article to wear or display. It would take about 24 hours (likely less) for someone to post it online and it would be pretty much common knowledge within a week. Ergo nobody would actually display it for fear of being outed. Sorry, just human nature on all counts.
