Looking to establish a group of safe swingers - - We would be interested. Safety is important to us. We're brand new to the LS and we want to proactively get vaccines and tests to show our safety if we can find other couples that can prove theirs

Black Ring, Right Hand - How to tell if someone's a swinger -
The thing is, even though people in the vanilla world may know about something like black rings on the right hand, they probably won't notice it, especially with all the people wearing multiple rings nowadays. Most people just aren't all that observant. On the other hand, swingers who know about it will probably look for them. And if someone who doesn't also have one on asks you what's with the black ring, you can just say,"I like it." And if they then say "Did you know that it can mean ....?", you can say something like "Why do you think that?", or "Where'd you hear that?", which can lead to them saying they swing, or let you get out of the conversation without admitting anything yourself.~ Terry
That may be true up to a point but think about what other cues you see when you see an attractive couple and wonder if they're swingers. Dress a little sexier than normal, act a little flirtier or maybe dance a little dirtier (if they're at a club), are constantly looking around checking out other people. That doesn't happen in the vanilla world. Most guys would at very least get an elbow to the gut if their lady caught them openly checking out an attractive girl. In swinging, the lady will often check out the attractive girl right along with her husband. I still think that the majority of swingers wouldn't wear the rings even if they became "a thing". As someone mentioned this isn't a new concept. People have been talking about ways to make it easier to identify other swingers when out and about almost since the day we started swinging decades ago. On another swing site we're on they even made a mobile app that people could put on their smart phones that would alert them if another swinger was nearby and also had the app turned on. If the app showed (by GPS) another swinger near you you could send them a text. It was a colossal failure to say the least. I know there are definitely a small percentage of swingers who would wear black rings and/or use an app but the majority would likely not due to fear of discovery. Why do you think many or most profiles have face pics only in the locked sections and mention discretion so ubiquitously? Especially here in Utah where the prevailing religion has such strict morality codes, many people would rightly be afraid of losing their jobs and social standing if discovered. JMO

TALKING TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT THE LIFESTYLE? - - OK, here's something just a bit off the subject - or is it? Let's say you had your kids when you were pretty young, which means you and your spouse are both STILL relatively young. You've been swinging since the kids were mere toddlers - and you're still active swingers. But, as far as you know, the kids have never known about your alternative Lifestyle. Now that the kids are grown and out on their own, one night, you're at a swingers club, a house party or a meet-and-greet - and one of your kids show up with their spouse/signigicant other/date - and they're already friends with several of the people there. What happens from here?

How many? - - Well, Me the Mr. would have been dead before 25. Back in the good old days anything that could be caught was easily cured with an antibiotic or at least so we thought. So from the time we crazy kids were in our late teens it was not uncommon to have sex with 7 or 8 different people in a year as part of dating. Most of us were probably just lucky. Never became a baby daddy thanks to birth control and I never contracted anything. So I would have been dead a long time ago. At 26 I got married and we have been together over 30 years. Mrs. Delicious was a sexy 5'11" 19 year old goddess and a virgin with a smoking hot 36D-23-36 build with deep blue eyes and a smile and voice of a siren. She is still smoking hot in her older version of herself. We were both a bit more conservative because I had gone so far off in the outskirts of normal in my youth and as a musician that I had bounced back the other direction and she was from a conservative background. We raised a family and did all the things parents should do to enrich their children's educational experience and to promote growth etc., so we really would not have the time or the place to do much swinging. After 23 or 24 years of monogamy, which we do not regret and enjoyed, and with the kids all either adults or almost adults we decided to attend a few swingers meet and greets and one thing leads to another and so now after a some years of swinging I would be dead again after my resurrection from monogamy and Mrs. Delicious would be dead as well and frankly more dead than me. She has been adept at playing catch up ball or should I say catch up balling and being bisexual has a more diverse rage of sexual experiences than her husband. I would be dead from the female sexual experience whereas she would be dead from the male sexual experience and really, really drunk if not dead from the female sexual experience too.

Hedonism 2 Young Swinger's Week - March 19-27 -
BMShell: When I crunch the numbers the resort is about $20 a night more, so a little more expensive, if you make a fair comparison and add the "all you can drink" tab to the cruise which runs about $680. We are going for 9 days Friday-Sunday, total cost is $5200. The cruise is 7 nights and will run just under $4000.
You're forgetting about the price to get to Jamaica, vs. the price to get to Florida. That's usually pretty significant. =)
Average age for Young Swinger week is around 33, whereas the average age for the cruise is around 45. Last YSW at Hedo hosted almost 400 people.
If you do the math, you'll find there are more younger couples on the cruise than there are at Hedo -- even during Young Swingers Week. But not by much. We like the diversity of activities / things to do on the cruise ship -- and the higher-end restaurants and accommodations. But I've heard VERY VERY good things about Young Swingers Week... I think you're going to have a blast.

Meet and Greet/Play party - swingers party - I would love to come and play

Creating an Amazing Swingers Profile - How to market yourself better - Shit! We aren't verified. We are totally screwed. ;) I'd like to add that an effort to capitalize and punctuate is greatly appreciated. If you can spell, that's just an added bonus. If you know the difference between to, too and two and your and you're the Mrs. gets a hard-on. Just sayin'. Shit. I think I spelled that wrong. ~The Mrs.

Original humans as swingers? - Provocative theories based on Bonobo sexual behavior - The author of the CNN article has co-written a book "Sex at dawn: The Prehistoric Origins of Modern Sexuality" Have not read it yet, but will soon. It is interesting to see that the bonobos engage in sexual practices such as oral sex, anal sex, gay sex, and group sex, as a matter of course. Could this be the way early humans practiced their sexuality? What about pair bonding? If memory serves, from what has been observed in Emperor Penguins, they pair bond for as long as it takes to raise a chick to self-sufficiency. If the egg does not hatch, or the chick dies before then, the bond is dissolved and the two find new mates for the next season, just as when the chick is able to care for itself. Could this be the way early humans pair bonded? Would this explain the "seven year itch"? Or as Dr. Ryan says," An individual male's "parental investment," in other words, tends to be diffuse in societies like those in which we evolved, not directed toward one particular woman -- or harem of women -- and her children, as conventional views of our sexual evolution insist." Could it be that both pair bonding, and communal parenting were practiced? It seems that some societies did in fact practice some form of sexual conflict resolution, while others practiced conflict of arms. Was that an evolutional turning point? Just some questions to ponder.... Myself, I came to the conclusion that the concept of marriage as we have it originated with the agriculture , as at that time it became important to know that your possessions were going to be inherited by your offspring, independent of reading any scholarly works on the subject. So the idea that early humans lived communally and had sex communally doesn't seem too far fetched.

Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? - DVP?

Vanilla "life" just doesn't taste as good! - What else doesn't "taste" as good? -
The dirty little secret of the lifestyle (Okay, there are a LOT of dirty little secrets! LOL) is that it's VERY hard to go back to Vanillalandia and not become bored to death. We've known SO many swingers who "quit" the lifestyle and no longer want to have recreational sex with others but nonetheless still try to hang out with swingers and go to swing parties and such. *shrug*
You’re right. We’ve taken breaks, but after a while, Mrs gets the itch and convinces Mr (usually not that difficult) to return.
