I was the night time financial auditor at the U of U hotel for a few years and saw some interesting things. If it were at the Motel 6 instead of at the U, I'm sure it would be even more interesting.
The security guard was some old guy that couldn't do shit so often the desk staff would ask me and the janitor to assist. I didn't mind the people coming in for a quick fuck as they were hardly ever a problem. It was the drunken party frat kids or convention attendees that caused the problems.

Agreed. Treat them and the hotel right and they won't care. If someone complains, I would just say we will ask them to be quiet but I hardly ever would. Only a couple of times I would have to do it. I even had a 'system' with the regulars I mentioned. If they were making noise, I would just call their room and let the phone ring once and hang up. They knew what was up.

I think people react to how the situation around them makes them feel. For instance, I don't care how hot you are, if you are wearing a black business suit and their is a coffin anywhere near I'm not going to get turned on. Friends with out benefits? - Is it possible to find friends on here who dont want to fuck? - Actually this isn't that uncommon. We've been in the scene for a long time and have seen a lot of couples leave and then try to return and hang around the scene without actively participating because they like the thrill and excitement as well as hanging out with people who don't have a lot of hang ups and they don't have to censor themselves around. Unfortunately, in our experience, it hasn't seemed to work out too well in the long run. Not sure why, exactly. Maybe the real swingers don't want to hang out with people they can't potentially fuck or maybe the former swingers (or at least one of the couple) gets excited again and tempted to want to swing again or maybe it's some different reason altogether. Wish I could tell you how someone has made it work but it just doesn't seem sustainable. It's kind of like a motorcycle group I belong to. There was a guy who would show up at all of our meetings, hang out, talk about bikes, etc., but he didn't actually ride or even own a bike. Finally he stopped showing up because he found it harder and harder to engage the other guys in the group who actually ride. If you figure out a way to do it let me know. I have ran into co workers from past employers but, never one of my bosses from any job. I don't think lifestyle people are more or less. I think it's normal number are and are not regardless of the lifestyle question.
We have meet several swingers that continue to have issues with this. They feel that their beliefs in god don't allow for swinging. So at times they have major guilt issues with the lifestyle or even just being bisexual.
I personally don't get into that line of thinking because I believe that if everyone is in agreement and no one is getting hurt or lied to; then there is no "sin" with exploring the lifestyle.
