Would definitely have to agree. West Wendover would be better and more successful. Less population to "spy" on the club. Only 1.5 from SLC. The "Out of State, Out of Mind" philosophy would apply well there. That is probably why the Vegas clubs do so well.
Build it in SLC or anywhere near SLC and you will have problems from the "moral majority." Another possibility may be a ranch somewhere in a remote area close to SLC like Grantsville. But with the Wendover solution, at least there are hotels available.

Staying a couple in the lifestyle - - We've been at the LS nearly our entire 15 year marriage.. and we've always done things as a couple. Even way back when we were newly hatched swingers, we've always done it as a couple, and we've used our real names from the beginning, mostly because we're not creative enough to come up with fake names. Neither of us would make good actors, because we'd never respond to anything but our real names either 🤣
We started this together with equal gusto with the idea of having fun together while having sex with other people at the same time, and with people we want to be friends with, and not exclusively in the bedroom either.
Has it always worked out that way? No but that's okay. We've always still managed to have fun. Anything that we can experience with each other and share together has made it 100% worthwhile. The day we can't have fun doing this together is the day we go back to being sexually monogamous. Simple as that.
But the REAL secret to why we're still happily married is that there is one thing we do separately, which may be problematic for some.
It's scary sharing this, but here goes....
We don't share blankets. We can't do it. We've tried, and it doesn't work for us. We're both very needy in regards to tossing and turning and being wrapped in our own blankets. Plus, we've got our individual blanket needs that can't be met with exclusively with the same one.
Moab lifestyle - looking for what lies under the covers in Moab - We get down to Moab quite a bit and can tell you with some assurance that there IS no lifestyle (at least SWINGER lifestyle) endemic to that area. We're lucky to have a VERY small number of regular clubs (bars) that are lifestyle-friendly up here in the more populated areas. There are no on-premises swing clubs in Utah. Clubbing? - New to this lifestyle - I'm new to this lifestyle and was wondering, are there any good clubs where swingers go to meet. I RSVPd to a party on the home page, but it says there's an 89-person limit and there are twice the number already signed up. Chances are, I won't get in.
So where is a good place to go to just have fun with like-minded people?

NOT. Swinging is absolutely NOT about simply swapping. DON JUAN was absoltely correct. The women are NOT commodities to be traded amongst the men in the clubs and at the parties, but many of you devalue yourselves by assuming that submissive role.
Swinging is about choice. Thats is why the term "lifestyle" was coined in the early 80's; it's a way of life. If a single man is not to be considered a "real" swinger, then single women should not be considered "real" swingers either. What more does a single woman have to bring to the table than a single man? Do you think that these women do not represent the same set of issues that the men do?
The clubs, the parties, the events...these activities are driven by the WOMEN who particpate. The clubs will allow single women in for next to nothing for a couple of good reasons. The first of which is obvios; without a room full of hot women dressed in almost nothing, you would have a room full of nt so hot men, all standing around waiting for the woen to arrive. It would be like a middle school dance. Or a gay club full of str8 men. The second reason is even more simple. They attract MEN who spend MONEY. Single MEN and married MEN alike. The lifestyle is financed by MEN.
MEN who are willing to pay TOP dollar for the chance to meet with couples in the club. And let's face it, the guys who can afford to go on a regular basis are really the ones (if you are interested in single men anyway) that you would want to meet with, unlike a towel shark from the local adult arcade.
MEN who accompany their wives to the club to meet with other couples for the evening. These married men often spend (on average) $200 to $300 in a single night.
WOMEN are the EYE CANDY that keeps the party going. MEN do not want to go to a party that is full of other MEN, but they want to see EYE CANDY. So they are willing to pay to do it.
Mrs. Luvbugs! is a bartender, and a good one at that. She makes more part time than most degreed professionals (including me! humph!) do working full time. Why? She is very attractive. She is outgoing. She knows her stuff. She understands that SEX SELLS, and that her clients are there to see HER as much as drink a jack and coke. I have seen men sit at her bar, stare at her all night, run up a $100 tab, and leave her $30. Thats average...do that 20 to 30 times a night and what do you get? All for the privelege of being served by HER. I wouldnt do it, even if I were single. But then, I dont have to either, so who knows? THEY constitute the LION SHARE of her business, and her livelyhood.
The lifestyle is not different. We need these guys at the clubs. We need them to pay for memberships on our websites. They too are the oil that lubes the machine.

'Neighbors with Benefits' to air on A&E - Excited to watch? - I agree 100%. This show is going to be comprised of a bunch of hot women and men. It will not represent the swinging community in any other way than people hooking up with people other than their significant other. But what do you expect, TV is all about ratings. Take the show Polyamory for example. That show didn't have the greatest ratings and I believe it to be that they used real people. Not just the best looking ones they could find. Without ratings a show can not survive and the network can not make money. This is the reason that we will probably never see a show that highlights the real life of swingers.
