Anyone going to Habits tonight - First time for us... Habits in SLC, it sounds fun.. is anyone going - Habits has been great for couples and other swingers.

Taking one for the team - Put a picture of your male half in your profile! - First of all, NOBODY should fuck someone they don't want to fuck. Having said that, though, we've found that "taking one for the team" is usually somewhat relative. It seems to quite often be the case that if you actually LOOK hard enough for attractive qualities in other people you are apt to find them. At least one or two qualities! LOL
We've almost never encountered another couple where one of us was attracted to one of them and their partner was completely unattractive. I guess if someone is reasonably attractive they're pretty unlikely to end up with someone who isn't attractive at all.
But we've also found (and yes, we're guilty of this sometimes as well) that many people sort of get in their own way, so to speak, when it comes to looking for people to play with and, often, almost look for reasons NOT to play and, in effect, end up talking themselves out of playing.
When we first started in the lifestyle it was FAR more labor-intensive (no internet swingsites) to look for other couples and there were far fewer swingers as well so if you were extremely picky you pretty much didn't ever actually end up playing. By the time most people jumped through all the hoops you had to jump thru to find other couples most people were pretty predisposed to playing, unless they were really turned off for some reason.
Now, it seems like there are just so many options, literally right at our fingertips, that perhaps it's just a little too easy to keep swiping left...always looking for the bigger, better deal. Again, don't fuck someone you really don't want to fuck but also, maybe, consider digging just a little deeper and see if you can't find something compelling about a person that could lead to a really great time in bed. Facebook group - - I am an admin in a long-standing FB Swingers group for SouthEast Idaho and we're getting ready to close it down. It used to be there were privacy concerns where people who joined would risk exposing other members by sending friend requests to everybody but we were able to handle most of that by staying on top of things. Now, the FB rules and algorithm bots are going crazy. Posts from 2+ years ago are being randomly found and flagged. Posts from the admins are being flagged as well and we've been warned that if too many of these happen FB will shut the group down altogether. But this means two things; 1. the posts that make the page fun and free are all at risk of being auto flagged even though the group is private and 2. Even if a post is not flagged it's not truly private since the FB bots and possibly admins are scanning through everything that happens in every group. Really, the FB rule changes from 2 years ago make the group against their policy even by existing. The new rules read that a group cannot exist for the purpose of seeking or supporting the planning of any sexual activity.
Because of all this, our group has been migrating to MeWe and all official posts/events/polls are now hosted there. We'll also be deleting FB content that is likely to be flagged and closing down the group.
Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - I am saying that that logic doesn't justify intolerance. My analogy is logical. The majority say that swinging is wrong. Yet here you are.

Several apps like that HAVE been developed. One was actually offered to members of another swing site we're on. It failed miserably because people wouldn't, for various reasons, use it. We never used it personally. Some people apparently thought the potential for being outed as swingers was too great to risk using it. Another app was written by a friend of ours and it supposedly had some safeguards in it that he had designed but Apple wouldn't allow it in their app store...I guess because it's purpose was to help people swap spouses. \_(ツ)_/¯
Alternate Semi Swinging Site? - FInding the right connections - This is why we've never identified ourselves as full swap only because while we enjoy that, it's not the only level we will play at. If we meet a couple we enjoy who is only interested in girl-girl then same partner, okay by us. We love sex with each other and having others present is a turn-on. We've played same room, same partner because the other couple was new and unsure where they wanted to take it.
