We're going to SEMA! - Gonna be in Las Vegas for the weekend. Sexy swingers?? - The pregnant wife and I are going to be in Vegas from tomorrow evening through saturday morning. The epitome of poor taste - - What surprises me most about some of the "swingers" is the lack of open-mindedness. You don't have to like our appearance, but, fuck, try and get to know someone's personality sometime. Even if you don't attract sexually, at least you gave it an effort, you never know unless you try.
We had the pleasure of meeting NP and several others at the big Swingular party, and we had a fucking great time just chatting and getting to know one another. Where is it written that swinging means you automatically spread your legs for others.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Maybe the issue is that there are single men that do try "cold calling". Since the odds of them hitting a "single guy friendly" couple are not as good as hitting a couple that looks for couples only, they will tend to irritate that couple. Now, understand that we already are not interested in you. On top of that you bother us with your solicitations. Kinda of an "adding insult to injury" thing.
Sure, you say "It's not fair. You put us with the clowns.". Yes, you are right, it isn't fair. However, life isn't fair either for allowing some to hurt the group.
Divorce rates - How do we compare - We are a bit of an older couple with a different prospective. Amoung our swinging friends and aquaintances if we were to generalize it is that they are on a second marriage, have been married for 10 years or so and are very happy. Amoung our non-swinging friends they are on their first second, or third marriage and are generally unhappy. I would put the divorce rate amoung the non-swingers at more than double that of the swingers over a 10 year period.
