Isn't It All About Marketing? - Interesting what people post in profiles and pictures - I find all aspects of the lifestyle interesting. One of the most interesting is what swingers post on these types of sites - who they are, what they are looking for, and their public and private pictures.
Isn't it all about market ourselves? I will not make any judgmental remarks here, because we should not be judgmental in the lifestyle; however, sometimes I wonder what they are trying to communicate.
Because I am a professional website designer I probably look at things differently, also because I am a voyeur I like to see good quality images - ones that show me something about what can be expected in sexual play.
I also wonder if I am reading/seeing more in things that are posted than are really intended - i.e., personality, intelligence, playfulness, etc.
Thus my questions:
Do people take the time here to make a good impression?
Are they trying to open doors or to close deals?
Do they do well at marketing themselves?

I DJ karaoke at a local bar and the wife is one of my regular singers. We also look for it when we hit the big city. There are plenty of people here who are fine with that particular scenario and more than a few who are also looking, specifically, for that type of play. No need to go elsewhere. The trick is to find couples that won't try to punk you and get you to do a full swap after leading you to believe they are okay with your rules.
Also, there are quite a few women that aren't really bi or are only bi up to a point. It could be partly due to the fact that you're in Cedar. Additionally, we've noticed that your particular play preference is more common among younger couples so that could be making your search difficult as well. And one last problem (I know, right?), swingsites are slowly dying and more and more people are using alternative methods to find people to hook up with. You missed the heyday for lifestyle sites by about 10 or 15 years. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - Sorry to hear that someone ruined your new years fun and if you ever get to Utah cum join us I have been to many meet and greets and social events as well and that is a rare thing that happens unless the person is new and does not yet know how to handle themselves in a group setting. If I was you I would just take the person asside and let them know how things are done and you may become great friends. everyone is new at one time or another.
And if they were in charge of the party I would let everyone in my power knoiw that this is not the group to swing with, and that they have no respect for others in the lifstyle.

To try and say that nicely...You sound like an awesome fun couple that I'd love to get to know, and I REALLY hope you have a great time in Salt Lake City! Maybe we'll even get a chance to meet. I'm Mormon, and have lived in many different areas of the world and work in a very culturally diverse career, and I just have to say, "Your Mormon experiences, as you described them, are not the norm." The folks here are really very much like everyone everywhere else. I wish the comments here on this site were less harsh at times.
Calling all losers! - LS and club scene - We used to go to coffee group that was comprised of people that were either swingers or poly or somewhere in between. It was fun! Lots of great conversations. We still know quite a few of the people that went. Yes people made sexual connections. We did! It worked because it was consistently held at the same time and same place every week. It was really invitation by word of mouth that got it started and kept in going for quite sometime. Friends inviting friends meeting new friends. Some weeks there were twenty people and some weeks there were four. Most weeks there were about ten. People move away and or their schedules change and eventually the group just sort of ended. We know it went on for about six months after our schedules caused us to rarely be able to go. It seems to us that if it is consistent and for people that live in the same general location it is more likely to work longer term.

You have to register (purchase tickets) online and then show up. You get a phone call about 2-3 hours before the party to let you know which hotel and room number. We have attended 4 times and had a great time all 4 times. As to who shows up, mostly average of any Lifestyle event. But you really should read what the party is before you go. It is NOT a meet and greet. It is for REAL swingers.
