Pink flamingo - How many swingers have a pink flamingo in their front yard? - Is that the hidden sign saying that house has swingers? That'll be an odd conversation starter, "hey i saw your flamingos in the front, we are open on friday to hang out" roflmaoooo!! Hahaha

Swingular Mobile Update - Details about our latest release for phones and tablets and other mobile devices. - This morning, we finally launched the long awaited mobile version of Swingular. In this email, we wanted to give you details about the process and why it has taken us so long to get here. We also want to talk about the features and what you can expect going forward. HISTORY As most of you know, Swingular has been around since 2001. It was started in Florida by me and a partner as Playful Swingers and I was the sole architect and coder. Swingular was custom built from the ground up. After a year or so of tremendous success, we didn't see eye to eye and decided to legally split off into two separate entities, Playful Swingers & Swingular. After many years, Playful Swingers went out of business but Swingular continued to grow. Around 2004 and 2007, I rewrote Swingular and gave it new looks. Over the years, we have changed a few things here and there, but most of the underlying code has remained the same. Well, a lot has changed in the world since 2007 and mobile devices have become a bigger source for accessing websites. In 2007, Swingular was great for it's time and for desktop users. In 2016, not so much. In 2012, we decided we needed to make Swingular mobile. After looking at our competition, we noticed they made their existing sites work with mobile but the experience was horrible. Sometimes you were taken to a non-mobile version so you never knew what you were going to get. That wouldn't be good enough for us so we decided that we were going to build our mobile site from the ground up. As we started working on it, technology was constantly changing. Being perfectionists, we kept restarting the project to adopt these new technologies to the point that we could never finish anything. Then we handed Swingular off to another owner and you know what happened there. After getting Swingular back in our hands late last year, we made it our goal to finally get the mobile version built from the ground up and here we are. CHALLENGES We started building this version of the mobile site back in October of last year. The challenges we faced were that we had to convert our technology stack to work with both the old version of the site as well as the new one. This is what took most of our time and what you probably have noticed the last 6 or so months. Once our technology stack was overhauled, we began designing the user interface. Again, this was a challenge because we wanted to support all devices out there, from iPhones, to Androids to Windows Mobile as well as all the tablets. So we had to make sure that everything looked good not only by device, but by screen size. Being that Swingular is custom built, we didn't want to use popular UI frameworks like Bootstrap so that we didn't look like everything else out there. So we had to design our UI to be unique to us. The most important and final challenge was making sure that the mobile site was safe and secure. We didn't want to release a half baked app just to get it out quickly only to find that we had a huge security hole. Your safety and security is our number one priority. After getting through the bulk of issues, we felt it was finally time to release our first beta version of the site with features that would showcase this new look. FEATURES To get a mobile site out in a timely fashion, we decided to use an agile development process which basically means we would create a basic working website, release it, then continually add features as we went along. We sent out a survey to our members to ask what they felt was most important in a mobile site and we took that to decide what was necessary to release our first version. Since we already have a website that is somewhat usable for everybody, we decided based on your feedback that sending and receiving messages, as well as viewing profiles and photos would be the first features to release. Then every two weeks, we would release 1 or more new features. WHAT'S NEXT Now that we finally have this up and running, we will be working on bug fixes as well as introducing features. We will send out bi-weekly updates so you know what's available. We ask that you understand that this is only a beta version of the site and you will most likely experience bugs or issues. However, we have added a Bug Report/Feedback tab so you can report them and we can get them fixed quickly. FEEDBACK The great thing about building this system on an agile development process is that if we need to add, change or remove something, we easily can. So if you have any feedback or suggestions, it is always welcome and we will take it in consideration. Thanks for your patience and we hope that we can provide you with the best mobile experience ever. Enjoy, Robert

Swingers clubs are the new singles hangout? - - Actually I am referring to clubs like Ranch4Play in Eustis and the Playground in Samsula. I have also heard that the ponderosa has seen a small increase in the numbers of single men and women who are not necessarily interested in the lifestyle but are looking for that special someone to share their life with. Richard

Why are people afraid to give out their email address - - Ohhh...I forgot to mention: How very timely things can be sometimes....just recently, on another website (for swingers), I had given a new contact our email address. I did this at his request (a single male), so he could send pictures. He did... ...what he sent was an email that - I really could only guess why - was forwarded not less than 16 times. Apparently, our new found friend has been very busy. Now, I'm sure you've all seen the emails where the subject line is FWD:FWD:FWD:RE: (etc, etc...) I've never realized anyone could be thoughtless enough to simply forward an email with pics to us, when the same email has been forwarded to 16 other people. And it's all right there, "in the clear" so to speak, in his email. Now, think about this: Here's a guy who is telling us he's sincerely interested in her, how he's only interested in making friends and not the typical wham-bam kinda thing. Funny, he seems to cover a lotta ground for someone so sincere. All in the past week or so, I might add. It gets better: at some point...I don't know, maybe he's got two machines and was bouncing pics between them, or whatever...he's also unwittingly included a different email address for himself (which, by the way, told us right away he's not been honest about his name). He's put his own, 'real' email address in there as well! But that's not the part that really relates to the subject of this thread. What does relate is the issue of emails, making rounds you can't even imagine, because of one careless person. I made the mistake of trusting this person - and imagine my horror when I saw how careful he was with the other 16 people's info in there...what if some were completely unaware he was doing that? I bet they are! And now, HE'S GOT OUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!! How many of his emails to others will have our address in it? Ever hear of 'social engineering'? Well, if you haven't, do some research. This is how talented computer people can take a little shred of info about you from here, and a little from there, and next thing you know, your private affairs aren't so private. Sure, we're only talking about swinging sites, right? But, didn't someone above mention work email? Tell me no one ever got the two mixed up - or that no one ever forwarded your email - the one you sent in total confidence - to their work address, intentionally or unwittingly!! Of the 16 email addresses right there in his email, 13 were Yahoo email addresses...now, it's a hop, skip and jump over to their profiles - and now I know even more about the people our friend listed in his email. Interesting to see who all he's been in touch with. Ohhh, by the way? Two of them were crossdressers, says so right there in their Yahoo profiles. What if that somehow found its way to where someone worked? I'll tell you what, I know how these people - the 'social engineers' - go about finding out all sorts of stuff. It so happens I'm not into messing with people like that, or I could have a field day with this stuff. I'm not interested in it, but what if I were? Someone who was a real low-life could start contacting these people, saying things like "I know you've been in touch with X"...or they try to play a confidence game, by dropping names picked up from various sources: "Hey Jimmy told me you're..." after seeing an email from "James" so-and-so. There are countless variations, but these people are relentless - and they're not stupid! Think it doesn't happen? Think again. Every word of what I say above is absolutely true. May not sound like much until you consider all the possible ways it could be exploited. And it happened, just about the time I took interest in this thread. So, I hope this little story helps illustrate my point. I hope it helps answer the original question; *This* is why people are reluctant to give out email addresses. And, maybe they damn well should be.

Lusting After the EVER ELUSIVE Male-with-Hallpass - The Great Swingular Mystery - We both have hall passes that are discussed and approved on a case by case basis. Here is where we see the imbalance occurs. Men looking to swing are far more plentiful then women looking to swing and I dare say that is true within and without a marriage agreement. Yes there are some really liberated sexy and sexual women in the lifestyle but they are out numbered. Within the lifestyle, approaching someone about having sex is supposedly not considered inappropriate and getting a no answer is not supposed to be a problem. That not always being how approaches are received or a no answer is delivered is another subject. So the multitudes of men make approaches. If a woman within the lifestyle has a hall pass she is going to get approached. Well, frankly she is going to get approached if she does not. There are not enough women with hall passes or single women looking to swing to satiate the demand in the lifestyle market created by the multitudes of interested men. Some ladies are having a great time giving it a try. The law of supply and demand as applied to swinging. Knowing and understanding this, frankly, the Mrs. sees no reason to go shopping for men to play with because she does not need to. Knowing this, frankly, I have never gone out shopping for s single female or a married woman within the lifestyle community with a hall pass. I see how many men my wife politely refuses. Shopping online I suppose I might have the same experience as the majority of men out there making request. Yes some of the men making online advances make a pretty bad first impression. If their foot in their digital mouth suggests an emergent flaw in the expression of their DNA or it is just bad learned behaviors and attitudes, well this is a fun based undertaking for us and not social work so jerks get a quick and lasting no. In fact most single men and men looking to play with Mrs. Delicious using a hall pass get a no. Many of which are most probably great guys. Sex is upfront and open in the lifestyle and so, men, ask to have sex and women usually do not have to ask for sex because they have several friend request and e-mails to consider every week if not everyday where sex is the requesters primary motivation. The male requesters list of expectations from her, are usually not as demanding as the list she has for him before there is a fuck agreement. If a couple wants to see some balance in the number of sexual partners they each have as swingers then, perhaps, it may require that the female half be a bit reserved and accept only as many offers as her main squeeze can find. Same goes for the frequency of sexual encounters. We prefer hooking up with couples but we will on occasion entertain a single. Usually the MFM hookups are men we picked and not a guy contacting us. The guys that aggressively send a new friend request or let

Why swingers are happier. - - We would definitely have to agree! Because of swinging and everything it involves and requires of a couple we enjoy an entirely different level of relationship than ever before. Its brought us closer, trust deeper, communicate better and enjoy things that most non swingers can only dream about.

Kik group for UT swingers. - Contact me if your interested in joining a KIK group for Swingers - Hi we would like to join the group cricket69676 thanks

What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - I got a bit bored reading all the replies, plus it is pretty late at night, so I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned. From what I remember, the couple who started the site are from Utah. Since it started here more of the members are from here. I think it is one of those things where once you build up enough critical mass in an area it really starts to grow.

Kirkland, Washington - - We are taking a quick trip to Kirkland on July 9th! Any info on swingers or clubs in that area would be great!!
