Newbie "outdoorsy" couple interested in the softer side. - Wish to develop a friendship with another couple in S ID, N UT -

There are couples and singles in the lifestyle, who have been in the lifestyle for a while, who also like to take things slow. Some don't want to just jump into bed, but they are aware of the many ins and outs of the lifestyle. I've been in the LS for years, but prefer to make friends, first, then decide if I want to go further if they, too, want to go further. If you want a friendship with no sexual strings attached, I suggest you look for others who feel the same. Narrowing your search down to just newbies, or suggesting that's what you're looking for, limits your options. You might consider meeting people with the precondition that you don't swap, but you may reconsider at a later date.
Thanks for your input. It is appreciated! Our thinking with looking for newbies was that we could all be nervous together and learn together. However, it's not like we know our way around these waters. All this has actually been very humbling to me (male half). I'm used to diving into things and doing well from the start. Here though.... it all feels so foreign, intimidating. Maybe it's due to my wife and I marrying right out of HS. We dated others in HS but that was so long ago with entirely different maturity levels. At any rate, your point is well taken. We welcome any advice and constructive criticism we can get. Thanks again!
What, specifically, feels intimidating? Or perhaps a better question would be what do you fear? Are you afraid that one of you will fall in love with a playmate and leave the marriage? Or that one or both of you will like swinging too much and become big ole sluts? LOL Or maybe you're afraid of contracting a horrific sexually transmitted disease and your junk will fall off? *grin* Most of us are TERRIBLY bad at risk assessment and more often than not we fear things that are statistically FAR less likely to happen than things we don't seem to fear all that much. Some people won't fly in planes even though they are FAR less likely to die in a plane crash than driving their car to Walmart. And many swingers are deathly afraid of getting AIDS even though it's really quite hard to contract compared to, say, HSV, which most adults have actually already been exposed to. Identifying why you're intimidated might be a better use of your time than trying to find a needle in a haystack. But in the end, do what you're comfortable doing. If you think finding another newbie couple is the least intimidating way to dip your toes in then, by all means, do that. Those of us who have been around the scene for a while, however, could tell you some of the drawbacks to meeting people who are newbies. Personally, we would seek out a more experienced couple, albeit one who is NOT pushy and is willing to go at your pace and is looking for friendship more than sex. The reason I say that is if things DO turn sexual, a more experienced couple is less likely to freak out or have other issues that they haven't already dealt with. Either way, good luck.

Swinger & 🦄 Bait - An experiment to attract swingers and unicorns. - Unicorns are so fun

lost with people - florida wanna be swingers - As so many have already mentioned, MANY advertise and MANY state they are wanting to meet other people but when it comes time to walk the talk is when you find out there is a lot of wanna be's and BS out there. We changed our ad to be very blunt but it helps keep away those who are seeking additional photos, or those who just want to email to death and seem to never want to chat on the phone or meet in person. We think this is another reason some people don't post a picture, or post a picture showig them with another couple. We respect privacy, but you can block out eyes, faces or do a few things with the photo that still allows others to get a pretty good idea what you look like without giving away who you are. Then there are the cases where all of a sudden your picture shows up as being the wife on some elses profile! The lifestyle is truly a wonderful way to live. For those of us who live this way of life, finding other real people is always a hunt. But when you do finally meet someone you click with - the magic truly begins. We would think Florida would be better than where we live (Montana), but I think no matter where you live you will run into fakes, liars, wanna be's, cheats and all out BS. Good luck to you in your search and we hope things get better for ya.

Traveling to New Orleans - Wondering where to go to meet swingers - We are going to New Oleans on june 12 th this year for a week. Any ideas where to go to lifestyle friends there? Cool places Nasty people?? Thanks,

Something to consider - No means no online too. - 1.) We have all heard, well most of us have heard that no means no in the lifestyle. Does that just refer to in the flesh potential physical contact or does it not also mean online approaches in the chat room or via emails? 2.) If someone will not easily accept no for an answer online when it comes to friend request or in pushing for a hook up will they be just as pushy in the flesh? 3.) If someone sends you a friend request over and over again and you give them the same reasonable reason why you do not want to accept it, and it is in your profile why you would not accept it, will you need to tell them no to anything and everything over and over again if you meet them in person? 4.) Is not understanding no at any level along the way a major reason why some swingers do not find it easy to hook up?

Mormon Swingers - -
Are you Mormon?
No. I was.

Going out on a limb... - - i have been a member for over 2 years now and i do have to be honest and i have not met anyone off of this site yet. i have tried a few times but they were not interested which is fine by me. but i do have alot of fun on this site reading posts and going into the chat room. and i figure one day i will find that right single or couple and we'll have fun. but this site is not just about finding someone to meet. i find this website fun to chat and learn about other swingers likes and dislikes. but you do have one thing going for you.....you do live in utah.....LOL. well i'm not sure what exactly your looking for but i have heard of other singles on this web site meeting with couples. but again it's up to you. well good luck with this site.

Simpsons: Is Marge going to be a Swinger? - -

In the shows season finally on Sunday, May 19th Marge joins a swingers on-line dating site. Seth MacFarlane, the shows creator, lends his voice to a married man that Marge meets on the site. This should be interesting. Mr. Sexperimentors
I don't think Seth MacFarlane makes that show, and i'm pretty sure the creaters mom who he named marge after just died
You are correct. Marge Groening died recently in her 90s. The show's creator is Matt Groening of Portland, Oregon, who named the character after his mother. Mrs. Enlightened, in her college days, worked at an all night Portland diner and one of her regulars in the wee hours of the morning was a struggling young cartoonist who would doodle images on the napkins and get her thoughts. Yep, Matt Groening. She remembers panning his idea of a woman with big blue hair. Good thing he did not listen to her. Groening no longer writes the episodes. There are about 16 writers, and occasionally they have a guest writer (quite often it is Joel Coen of Fargo and Big Lebowski fame). Always possible Seth MacFarlane is a guest writer.
