Friends? - Friends in and out of the bedroom? - For us time is an obstacle to socializing. We have numerous adult offspring, and yes we have a few grandchildren, and we have vanilla friends, and we have jobs and do some volunteering and try and fit in some hobbies. We both seem to make friends easily enough, so that we end up doing a certain amount of socializing with people we see at work or in our vanilla world. Throw in the unexpected and there isn't much time left. We have a hard time making everything fit into our schedules as they are now. Honestly, we might disappoint someone, looking for someone they can hang out with every week, if they are looking to have us all to themselves. It seems, that busy people, do well hanging out with people who are also often on the run, and busy associating with other people. That might mean you see these sorts of people, while they are busy seeing other people. For us we are pretty good friends with our family, and many of their friends, and our family members, are pretty good friends with quite a few of our friends, and we end up hanging out. It's often pretty impromptu. It's not that uncommon for twenty people to be at our house having a meal or just hanging out. Our house, is one of those houses people just walk into. If in any social circle, the majority of the people hanging out are not swingers, and swinging would make them uncomfortable, then swinging probably won't happen. So swinging for us is a bit compartmentalized. But yes, we would not mind making a few more good friends, who fit in with our crowd, that also happened to be swingers, and not in everybody's face about it. People we could see more frequently, that fit in with our friends and family, who we could swing with in private. People we could see more of in and out of our clothing. Proximity, discretion and spontaneity are all a big plus.

Lying About Your Age? - Is lying about your age considered proper? - Does age really matter? I know several couples on this site and others that have porposely lowered their age. Basically, lying about how old they are. Is it considered proper among swingers to lie about how old they are? If they lie about their age, what else are they lying about? Once you find out how old they really are, and knowing they lied, would you trust them? Or, can you say you are younger if you look younger than your age? Does lying about age fall into the same catagory of deceit as posting pictures that are 5 to 10 years old, or saying 10 lbs or more overweigth is "Average"? Would having a penile implant or hysterectomy matter. Some would think it would matter more than age would. What's your opinion?

Gangbangs/ Wife sharing - - If I can put my 2 cents in. I have only been in the swinging lifestyle in the capacity of going to swingers clubs. I have also been involved, and witnessed gangbangs at the club. I believe that there are 2 very important factors for a gangbang to happen. 1) Comfortable Setting 2) Comfortable with the people involved. Yeah the club setting is a good place for swingers, but it can be a chancy place for gang bangs. The club I used to attend did allow single men, but so many were pushy and didn\'t get the ideal of the social aspect. I\'ll admit I\'ve never been invited to a gang bang at a hotel or private home. Christain Swingers? - - From an earlier post on the same subject... I work in a church and know that most members here would frown upon the lifestyle. let me add that most of them are retired while I am in my late 20's. But a young minister that we had here, who left to head up another chruch, and I had a number of discussions about sex and whatnot. His opnion was that he didn't think God honestly cared what we did with our sex lives, that there were more important things to be concerned with. (as long as it doesn't negatively effect others) I'm not sure if it's a generation thing? My wife was rasied in a baptist church which seemed to be a "not talk about sex" kinda congregation, yet she and her family are very open in their discussions, some might say (me) a little too discriptive in their talks (like grandma and her new husband) but open none the less. My basic theology is that Jesus doesn't want you to live a life of repentance or guilt but rather that you enjoy all that life has to offer, and most importantly be decent and caring towards others, not necessarily in a sexual way but in a friendship helping way. The bottom line is that we all screw up from time to time, but don't dwell on it, learn from your mistakes, ask for forgivenness and move on to help others.
