stupid posts on topics that may make newbies change their minds! - - If Amy is addressing some rules of etiquette, in regards to forum posting, I think to immediately dismiss her is unfair. I cannot seem to comprehend how someone posting something stupid, moronic or childish would have a negative affect on a new couple or individual's decision to look into swinging? I can understand how posting something stupid, moronic or childish might have a negative affect on how a couple or individual. with any level of experience, might feel about the poster. Perhaps, Amy is addressing how often we just go off topic? Is that not perhaps a valid complaint? Amy, has a valid point, in that interrupting a conversation can be rude. If a poster opens up a thread, within these forums, that is pertinent to the swinging lifestyle, and a discussion begins, perhaps it is appropriate, to let the conversation evolve around the topic. If a poster makes a statement, that anyone feels to be offensive, dangerous or inaccurate, and someone disagrees then voicing their opposition, is still subject relevant. Personally, if an original posture, opens up, or ventures into a discussion, that seems predatory or abusive, I see no reason to not at least ask for clarification, to make sure I am understanding correctly, what they are saying, or if it is quite clear what they are saying to voice my disagreement. The world ask us all to be far too agentic and compliant. Just because someone says something that involves sex, should not make it acceptable, if it is in violation of anyone's humanity. Amy mentions posting on topics that may have new swingers change their minds about swinging, and not just humor. New people investigating swinging, perhaps, should know that the level of intimacy, found in swinging, creates a certain additional level of risk. To dwell on it, to the point we trust no one may be counter productive. Perhaps, giving anyone with any sort of abusive and or unhealthy approach toward their fellow human beings too much time on the front page forums could lead anyone investigating the lifestyle to flee even more than stupid humor. We would rather laugh than to be marginalized and or abusively objectified. Personally, I think some of the more ridiculous post, and questions, that were intended as a serious question, will die rather quickly if everyone adopted a subject relevant attitude toward contributing to the forum threads. But what about the post that are swinging lifestyle relevant, that are interesting, and that perhaps, especially for someone new, might be beneficial? Is it possible that to go off subject, so that those discussing the subject at hand, have to sift through all our off topic humor, might be rude? Personally, I enjoy reading a lot of the playful nonsense, that ends up in the forums. Never-the-less, I have decided, that I will personally, try and avoid getting off topic, unless the original post was obviously written in such a manner that it seem to invite some level of ridiculousness or was obviously leading toward a more expansive discussion. If the original poster, seems happy to wander, even if the discussion wanders around a bit, even if it is a serious subject, I think I can feel safe to go off topic, and even then to be more careful. So Amy, if you are asking to be respected, I have decided to, think and rethink, before I submit anything off topic. Hopefully, I am on topic at present.

Looking to establish a group of safe swingers - - We are a professional, naughty, highly sexual couple that wants to find another couple(s), and a single male or female that we know are safe that we can play with worry-free. Or a trusted group of couples and singles. I know most people are or say they are, but we’d like to establish a level of comfort where fluids won’t hinder us. We like to go ALL in and if we can establish some regulars that we can trust, think of the no holds barred fun we could all have. We could turn our home into a weekend pleasure palace. A place where you could arrive at, become friends with everyone, and have your way with anyone at the house knowing they’re all safe, and all want to make you feel good. Food, drinks, hot people, hot sex, and LOADS of fun and memories. We’re working on a hot tub now. So expect that too. Let us know what you think and if you want to be considered. Single males, we’ll invite you as well as select you. It will be on a case by case and requested basis.

Young swingers party - sold out, who still wants to party ? -

That would be a brilliant way to make a bunch of quick cash off the oldsters, promise they'd be surrounded by nubile youngsters, then shrug your shoulders when it's mostly a wrinkle-palooza of 60-something men who'd have to admit they lied their way in.
I think you just described the business model of every swinger-club in Vegas. =)
Where would you put such a club, purely in theory? :scribbles notes furiously:

Curiouscpl91 - Identifying lifestylers - We've found that the best way to ID other swingers is to walk up and grab them by the crotch. It's a known fact that people who swap spouses have a crotch temperature almost 10 degrees higher than the average person. Your chances of correctly identifying a lifestyler by a black ring on the right hand is about the same as it is identifying a "hotwife" because she's wearing an ankle bracelet. Both are mostly urban legends. Trust me, people have been trying almost since day one to figure out a way to find other swingers out and about in the real world. Some have used the yin and yang symbol, some have used an apple with a bite taken out of it. The cold hard truth is that most swingers really don't want vanillas to know they're swingers and thus, wouldn't wear something that would easily "out" them in public as swingers. Don't you think, in this day of instantaneous communication and social media that if there was any kind of universally recognized symbol for swingers that it wouldn't soon become knowledge in the vanilla world? If you really want others to know you're a swinger just wear a t-shirt that spells it out. (Not trying to harsh your buzz MATTANDLIZ.) swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - DON AND DAVE You two r probably best butt buddies since your two jerk off are stupid and compare your cock next to each other, you also are computer rambo and btfw if u can't finger out what COMPUTER RAMBO is u r big loser than everyone thinks, plus u all have to put your loser 2 cents on things HAVE A GOOD DAY

Physical Attributes vs. Personality - How important is being H/W proportional - The HWP cliche that we read in so many profiles is, in our opinion...totally lame. It's overused...over-rated...and a total yawner. Often...when we're contacted by couples whose profile states anything about HWP...we'll simply disregard them. Honestly...can't anyone come up with something more original and authentic than the good ol' HWP bit? Although Siren and myself consider many to be our friends (platonic)...with all types of swingers...it's always been what's inside that counts (play-wise). Personality is and always will be the deal breaker/maker.

Why Be In Utah? - -
Actually I've always wondered the same thing about Florida. Substitute the crazy Mormons for the Bibile thumpers from Orlando north into the panhandle, add in the hurricanes, torrential rains, gaters, snakes and mosquitos...besides, I've heard the snow skiing is HORRIBLE there. But I'll bite. 1) No porn. You can buy dirty magazines but (unless you know where to go) hard core x-rate movies are technically illegal to sell. A non-issue in the internet age. If you're still buying dvd's at the local porn emporium you need to maybe update your computer or your media server or something. 2) No real beer. Again a myth. You can only buy 4% (by volume) beer in grocery stores but you can get full strength beer at state liquor stores, restaurants and places like brewery stores. Try getting ANYTHING to drink in some dry towns/counties in the Bible Belt. 3) True to some extent, although Salt Lake City itself is VERY eclectic and quite liberal politically. But at least our LDS lawmakers know basic female anatomy and have somewhat of a grasp of proven basic science. No kooky evangelicals freaking out every time someone mentions birth control or evolution. 4) Most people are afraid of Mormons? Really? I've heard they have horns and the missionaries CAN be a little annoying when you're fucking and they're ringing the doorbell but I don't think people are truly afraid. Besides, contrary to popular belief the swing scene here is alive, active and vibrant. I'd wager that per capita we have more, and more active, swingers than just about any place you can name. All that repressed Mormon sexuality eventually bubbles to the surface and until you've fucked a formerly repressed little Mormon girl who's discovering her sexuality you, my friend, haven't fucked! :-)
EVILDOERS summed it up nicely. I would also add that the cost of living is lower than most "cool" places in the country. Also, the people here seem to be much more attractive than in most states(it probably has something to do with the water). No matter where you live there will be good and bad qualities, but overall the good outweighs the bad in Utah. It's just what you make of it.

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - I think over 10 years in the lifestyle qualifies the research. What you're refering to has a lot to being open minded and approach sex as a healthy activity. AGAIN - when you think of the lifestyle and the term "swinging" a single person doesn't fit the description as there is no swapping on both sides.

exspense of taking husband and boyfriend to party - - you know what i was originally think when i started this was that, iam masculine in my relationship with both guys, they both have more feminie than masculine qualities, then i read posts on here about homophobic guys who dont dp because they dont want to touch penises, its like wtf, then iam wondering where bi sexual men fit into this swingers community who are supposidly open mined, i would think that if this community were so open mined they would see a person as a masculine or femmine spirit, what if my bf like feminine guys, will there be any at a lifestyle party? what if a guy likes masculine women how many will be there? the closed minded nature of these parties sets the whole thing back to before the sixties, they might as well only allow straight wife swapping and no bisexual men allowed
