stupid posts on topics that may make newbies change their minds! - - If Amy is addressing some rules of etiquette, in regards to forum posting, I think to immediately dismiss her is unfair. I cannot seem to comprehend how someone posting something stupid, moronic or childish would have a negative affect on a new couple or individual's decision to look into swinging? I can understand how posting something stupid, moronic or childish might have a negative affect on how a couple or individual. with any level of experience, might feel about the poster. Perhaps, Amy is addressing how often we just go off topic? Is that not perhaps a valid complaint? Amy, has a valid point, in that interrupting a conversation can be rude. If a poster opens up a thread, within these forums, that is pertinent to the swinging lifestyle, and a discussion begins, perhaps it is appropriate, to let the conversation evolve around the topic. If a poster makes a statement, that anyone feels to be offensive, dangerous or inaccurate, and someone disagrees then voicing their opposition, is still subject relevant. Personally, if an original posture, opens up, or ventures into a discussion, that seems predatory or abusive, I see no reason to not at least ask for clarification, to make sure I am understanding correctly, what they are saying, or if it is quite clear what they are saying to voice my disagreement. The world ask us all to be far too agentic and compliant. Just because someone says something that involves sex, should not make it acceptable, if it is in violation of anyone's humanity. Amy mentions posting on topics that may have new swingers change their minds about swinging, and not just humor. New people investigating swinging, perhaps, should know that the level of intimacy, found in swinging, creates a certain additional level of risk. To dwell on it, to the point we trust no one may be counter productive. Perhaps, giving anyone with any sort of abusive and or unhealthy approach toward their fellow human beings too much time on the front page forums could lead anyone investigating the lifestyle to flee even more than stupid humor. We would rather laugh than to be marginalized and or abusively objectified. Personally, I think some of the more ridiculous post, and questions, that were intended as a serious question, will die rather quickly if everyone adopted a subject relevant attitude toward contributing to the forum threads. But what about the post that are swinging lifestyle relevant, that are interesting, and that perhaps, especially for someone new, might be beneficial? Is it possible that to go off subject, so that those discussing the subject at hand, have to sift through all our off topic humor, might be rude? Personally, I enjoy reading a lot of the playful nonsense, that ends up in the forums. Never-the-less, I have decided, that I will personally, try and avoid getting off topic, unless the original post was obviously written in such a manner that it seem to invite some level of ridiculousness or was obviously leading toward a more expansive discussion. If the original poster, seems happy to wander, even if the discussion wanders around a bit, even if it is a serious subject, I think I can feel safe to go off topic, and even then to be more careful. So Amy, if you are asking to be respected, I have decided to, think and rethink, before I submit anything off topic. Hopefully, I am on topic at present.

Hostile pricks in the lifestyle - - sorry...Male here... Whoever said something about your wife being grown in alaska...I would like to have one grown...Can you tell me which garden? COme on...Do not be greedy with the info...We could use one...I would have taken it as a compliment....but I like whales and think your wife is a fox... As to the to old to fat comment...A lot of people are "fantasy swingers" and as soon as they have some sort of real contact, they have to quickly find an excuse to turn you off...and what woman, no matter how big she is, would NOT be turned off by that comment? So to all your swinging people...I have a motto I live by...and I will share oit with you... FUCK THEM ALL BUT ONE...NEED SOMEONE TO LIGHT THE FIRE...AND I HOPE THAT ASSHOLE LIGHTS HIS SHIRT ON FIRE DOING IT!!!! Not that everyone is an asshole, but a lot are, and thusly the fuck them all attitude...BUt then again..I am an asshole to...I just hide it better than some others ;)

Game ON....which sign is Hornier...(is that a word?) - zodiac signs of swingers? - I have noticed so far that the couples that have scorpios, it is usualy the mrs. that is the scorpio....lol I agree we are all horndogs!!

Coming to slc area this weekend - -
We agree with SLCCOUPLE. The GSL has it all. Sun, fun, the BEACH. And it's true...you CAN just like float around in it. We used to think it was because it's so salty and shit but it's actually the brine shrimp lifting you up and trying to push you out of the water. They have to live there and don't want no stanky swingers floatin' around in their living rooms. And if you get one of those cool floating grills from Sky Mall you can just fry up some 'o them shrimp on the Barbie while you're floating around, mate. Watch out for brine flies though. They're like the annoying pushy swingers who have to much to drink at a party and just get right up in your face. If you need directions to the nude beach just PM us. It's DEE-luxe!
How come in all of Utah there are no swingers with the handles like SEAMONKYS4SEX or SESSYCMONKY4U? Back in the 60s and 70s you could not open a Drag Cartoons magazine or Boys Life or even a comic book with out an advertisement for Sea Monkeys as pets. For those of you that are not from Utah Sea Monkeys are actually Brine Shrimp, taken from the Salt Lake, magically put into stasis through some sort of dehydration process. You could buy a package through the mail and put them in a fish bowl, add water and plenty of salt and have sea monkeys for pets. There were more sea monkeys shipped out of Utah then anything else save missionaries in the 60s and 70s. My brother and I sent away for some to be shipped to us in Arizona in about 1962 about the time "Meet the Beatles" came out. What a fucking fraud! They did come back to life but they sure did not look at all like monkeys. Those damned x-ray glasses didn't work either. So if you go to the Great Salt Lake make sure you wash off the brine shrimp when you get out. Sea Monkeys are just another Utah fraud like Mark Hoffman's forgeries, Paul H. Dun baseball cards or husbands with perpetual hall passes in the booty call section.

Same Sex Marriage - If you support - Well to make clear this is the MRS part of Stitchutah, I can't speak for him. As for me, I have to admit there are some of you whom posted that make some good points, and then there are some that make no sense to the forum at all. LOL! I really like some of your opinions and you make good points, such as Kinbaku, Thoughtgarden, and to some extent REally98. I have to say though that even though I have read every post to this topic I really don't know where I stand on this issue of same sex marriage. I have to be honest and say, I am torn. Some of you can respect that and others will bash it, but either way.....its just honesty. I really like Kinbaku's point about who are we as swingers to judge a non traditional marriage when none of us married couples that swing and have open marriages can be considered "traditional" to the rest of the world. Infact, there are a lot of those outside of swingworld that place high judgement on our choice of lifestyle just as they do same sex marriages. ONe of you commented on (I can't remember who, maybe it was TR) or rather, asked how those that didn't agree with same sex marriages would feel if they couldn't be married to their spouse legally (excuse me if I got that question wrong, I believe that is how it was put) and I have to say to that.....being on both sides of the fence here, that if I couldn't be married to Mr Stitch, whom I love and cherish and will love and cherish for my entire life (just as I am sure a gay couple feels for their life partner) marriage to him does not change my feelings for him. I would still be with him, I would still love him just the same, my life wouldn't change as far as how I live or feel. I would still have my children and so forth. The only things it would change (which, mind you, are huge and helpful in our marriage) is our legal rights such as tax benefits, insurance (we don't have anyhow, but at least we have the option), and other things that I am not fully aware of I even have rights to. I am sure I take those rights for granited as I am sure other married couples do as well. I don't argue that point, at all. However, isn't there, and tell me if I am wrong, ways around some of those legal issues some of you have brought up (medical rights, when decision can't be made by person) by putting in a living will whom you've appointed power of attorney too? If same sex couples can't legally be married by laws set forth by the government then they just need to take extra precautions to protect what they can. They need to be proactive by doing whatever they can to protect their union. Yes, there are some things they won't be able to do anything about unless the law is changed, but there are some thing they can do, and they should do. Like I said, I still don't know what side of the fence I fall on.....I don't entirely agree with same sex marriage, however, I don't entirely disagree with it either. It to me is a complicated issue, and its very possible that I complicate it myself. Where I agree with REALLY98 ( I believe is their names) is where they state....where do you draw the line? The government has a hand in almost everything we do, including marriage, and there isn't anything we can really do to change that. I tend to agree with the statement that somewhere down the road if we move that line and say...Okay, same sex marriage is legal, then some ppl may argue well, okay, same sex marriage is okay so now, me and my spouse want to be married to our girlfriend/boyfriend or hell the couple we swing with,...... now why can't we do that, marriage isn't defined anymore as just man and women, so why isn't my rights to legalize poly okay? Some may argue, that it would never happen, but I am posistive that if you ask older ppl in the community that if they thought they'd ever see same sex marriage being brought up I am sure they would say HELL NO, we thought we'd never see that day, and yet, here it is! I just thought that was a good point that Really98 made.....now, the whole marrying an animal thing, ugggh, I really hope that day never comes, but then again, you never know what some ppl might do. (GRIN). I, for one, never will judge a same sex couple....nor do I want to EVER seem as though I am judging them. I guess I really don't think there is anything wrong with same sex marriage, truthfully. The conclusion I have made for myself is....I will live my life with my family and do what I can to raise my children to be tolerate, loving, and non judgemental. We try everyday to raise them to make their own decisions based on how THEY feel about things, not what others think (and if you don't think that isn't a task, it certainly is!!!) I think this world is getting to be more and more complicated, and it will only get worse b4 it gets better (no, I am not a dooms day person) and all we can do as parents and as a family is protect whom we love the most that being, eachother, and our children. Thats all, I am sure, everyone wants to do here whether same sex or "traditional" (however you define that) so I suppose we are really have the same agenda in mind, right?

Swingers Club - Swingers Club - Hey KOI. Looks like you might have a not so silent partner in your little venture. ;-)

How to identify yourself as a Swinger - - Yes, the black ring has been around for decades. Along with white rocks in your yard, flamingos, upside down pineapples, etc. I'm sure these things were helpful and even needed before the age of the internet. Nowadays, there are so many ways to contact and meet people, I can't imagine the need to randomly bump into to other swingers. In fact, the black ring is so well known, that that is the reason I DON'T wear one. I knew about it about 18 years ago, well before I ever considered swinging. So, it's useless for two reasons. 1. Not enough swingers use it to be of much use. 2. Too many non swingers know about it to be very practical. But with the sites and parties and events, there really isn't much need for it anyway. I'm glad I started all this recently with the internet to use. I really would have hated wearing black rings and putting white rocks and flamingos in my yard and upside down pineapples in my window. :p

Eureka ATV UTV Poker Run - Elks lodge charity - Love the idea and could be available this weekend. Is it trail rated atvs? Or our rzr900 be ok. Maybe we could get some more swingers to show up.

How to get started? - - We would recommend to find someone interesting to you, write and meet. We have found, and this is not scientific, but it is our experience, that if they do not want to meet for drinks or coffee after an email or two, they are not really interested but do not know how to say as such. This is not to say that you should meet and jump into the bed, but meeting is key. We have found very few people who are what their pics and profile say, us included, we hear many times, "Boy glad we took a chance, you should get better pics" and such. Those who post old pics are easily identified, they have the old hair styles, clothes, etc. As to single men, we have found that MOST of them are unreliable at best. Few are truly swingers, rather they are men who want sex without a relationship. If something they see as better comes along, they will not show for you. The going to the club idea is probably your best bet, aside from an email intro, a few minutes on yahoo, AIM, or MSN messenger to set up a meeting time and place. WHo knows, maybe you just live in a crappy area for lifestyle activities...Come to Tampa, it has the most adult orriented businesses per capita than any other metropolitan area in the USA, at least in 2004 it did, according to Playboy.
