New Relationships - - Yep. Swinging is couples centric. If there weren't couples what would swinging even be? Hooking up. But there are plenty of couples who also like to add the occasional single to the mix. Hell, some even play that way exclusively. As far as single swingers meeting each other to form relationships (if I'm reading you correctly) that's a much tougher row to hoe. We've seen a few singles become couples over the years but they're in the minority unfortunately. The lifestyle is a tough place to date and find love for many reasons. Many couples WILL give you more than a casual look if you indeed have a regular play partner that you can bring to add to the mix. Otherwise you'll just kind of have to resign yourself to the plight of a single guy in the lifestyle. Sorry, life isn't always fair.

Monogamy in marriage - An interesting article on the subject - I think the number one reason that a marriage goes off track is the lack of communication. It could show up in fights over money, one or the other cheating because their needs are not taken care of in the marriage, or just about any of the rocks that so many couples run into along the path of married life. One reason I think that swingers tend to be happier and more secure is because without good, open communication swinging can be a minefield. Most that stay in the lifestyle for any amount of time learn to communicate better with each other than many others that do not have the experience of sharing. This summer we'll have been married 35 years so I guess it works :-) Diane & Max

Young Swingers Myspace Swinger Party@Club Hedonism - - hey pat so whats up i wasn't invited well damn, by the way i couldnt find the site either oh well guess i will have to have my own all ladies party huh ps. we wont be going to this under 35 party and theres alot more of our friends that feel the same

Soft-core roll call - A call out to those interested in the softer side. - Canvas, It sounds like you and your wife are not quite on the same page yet, which is quite normal at the beginning of exploring the Lifestyle. You are looking for friendships with those who are in a similar situation. That's a good idea, but be prepared that even those friendships may be fleeting as the chemistry or level of comfort may still be different. At the beginning of our lifestyle journey, my wife and I were just as you are today, (I was also at a different level as my wife too). TheFunCouple offers excellent advice on going to meet & greets. I also add that you might want to check out a place like Sea Mountain Inn in Palm Springs. There you can see how comfortable it is to be nude in front of others and witness all the different levels of the lifestyle. You will have opportunities to talk to others and learn more. There is no pressure to play. Plus, you will be out of Utah and away from people who might recognize you. If you are adventurous enough, maybe plan a vacation to Temptations Resort in Mexico. This resort is not truly a lifestyle resort but is a lifestyle friendly resort since so many non swingers go there. It still is a sexually charged resort. You will meet a lot of people who are similar to you there and you have a whole week to be relaxed, get into vacation mode, and explore your steps into the lifestyle together without judgement or pressure.

Sex clubs in Salt Lake? - Or is Las Vegas the best bet? -

Nothing in SLC can come even close to Vegas in comparison. There are many places here. But we recommend two for you. If you can spare two nights in Vegas, check out Whispers one night and Playhouselv the other night.
Thanks! Was hoping you'd chime in. Two nights sound good. However, if we only have one night, would you recommend one over the other? Also, regarding Playhouselv, just so I'm clear....one has to become a "member" first ($10/couple), then it's $100 entry fee after that. Do I have that right? Thanks to the other posters too. Keep the comments/thoughts/experiences coming. Would love to hear more!
That is correct.
It's difficult to advise which club to visit if you only had one night. Not everyone who wants to go to Playhouselv is admitted. They are selective and we have some friends who were denied access. We also have some friends who were approved and absolutely love going there. We are good friends with the couple that runs Whispers. We actually play them this week in our lifestyle Fantasy Football league. lol. They are a great couple and do a great job there. The main difference is that Whispers never allows single males, whereas Playhouselv has specific nights when single guys can come. You can't go wrong with either place. But, definitely stay away from the tourist trap, Green Door. It's filthy with guys following you around jacking off. No bar, no DJ, no dancing, etc. Red Rooster is iconic for it's dated vintage look. It's busy with a loyal following that caters to an older crowd. It's not for us, but it might be fun to check out because it is iconic. Just keep your expectations low. We do like going to Risque Estate during the daytime for the nude pool. It's worth paying the extra $20 for a daybed cabana to stay shaded. It's is a relaxing environment hanging out with other nudists. The evenings there are hit and miss. Whispers has a busier daytime nude pool on the weekends. The atmosphere is more of a party scene compared to the quiet of Risque. Of course, some resorts on the strip have topless pools. But, you have to find the swingers amongst the mostly vanilla crowd. Whatever you do, we hope you have a great time.

Exclusive FWB??? - -
Just as an observation, it seems to us that many (if not most) couples on this site are looking for exclusive friends with benefits. To us, that sounds like polyamorous dating, not swinging. No judgment whatsoever, hopefully everyone finds what they are looking for. We are simply surprised at how few couples actually want to swing - that is, have sex with lots of different couples. (Please spare the "labels" comments.) Again, no judgment, but I guess we are "swingers." Oh God, we finally said it! Hahaha! Everyone, we hope you each get what you are looking for!
Every couple is different. Every couple is different. Some want just sex, Some want more.there's nothing wrong with that. Whatever makes you happy :)

Children's Book 🤣 - Tim and Kate are Swingers - Disturbing interpretation and not funny at all.

Swingers Dares - Text for cards in the game - all males/females change places change places with the (same gender) person across the table from you while blindfolded identify your spouse (date?) without using your hands

A&E New show about swingers... - neighbors with benefits.... -
Why would any industry sponsor shows about the positive side of Swinging? I doubt there is any big money in promoting the swing lifestyle any more than there is profit to singing the praises of plural marriage. The vice industry might even suffer financially should swinging really catch on. This is a lifestyle that must eat the crumbs that fall from the gay lesbian table to acquire any "me to" acceptance. It seems like social and financial suicide for the deep pockets.
Why would they? They probably wouldn't. I strongly suspect it will show only really fit, conventionally sexy, couples on some kind of a bedroom merry-go-round. Along with, if they find it, some couple or couples whose relationship gets screwed up by swinging. And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they created a situation like that for the show if they didn't just find one. But a REAL reality show about swinging, showing people from 18 through their 60s or 70s, with the biggest single group in their 40s, with bodies ranging from incredibly skinny through obese? People who are, except for having rejected society's "you only have sex with your significant other" commandment, are absolutely and completely normal people? No, THAT show they'd never sponsor. I expect that this show, if it has any effect at all on society's view of swinging, will have a negative one, reinforcing the idea that swingers will jump into bed with anyone, and leading to even more people "signing up" in the expectation of getting laid whenever they feel like it.
