Hall pass - - InvestigatingKink, it looks like we have been in the LS (lifestyle) about the same time, less than a year. Everyone has different needs and weaknesses in their marriage, and I certainly don't judge what other people do, at least not ethically. We were at a party just last night and talking to several couples who have been in the LS for a lot of years. We were discussing this very subject. They all had stories of people who started playing separately and most of those couples are now divorced. Their belief is that it is often very difficult on marriages and definitely not for the majority of swingers. Now all of you hall pass and open marriage people, don't get freaky on me. This is just speculation on my part and opinion of those I talk to. There are many I'm sure it works great for. I believe the LS can be seriously hard on your marriage if you are not in prime shape. We ourselves have had struggles just doing what we do (as I think everyone has had at some point) so to add more uncertainty to the situation would be tough. Also, to us (again, not judging) this is about a journey we are taking together. I like to watch her interact with people and be flirted with and she enjoys the same. If we were not together it feels as if we have moved on to something different. But we are probably rare. Our name alone, SameRoomOnly, should give you and idea of our ideals. I know this is going to sound crazy, but we aren't in the LS just to fuck a bunch of people. We truly enjoy the fun people, making friends and experiencing new things together. An analogy could be made to travel. We both love to travel. But if we started taking separate vacations all of the time, it wouldn't be as enjoyable. Hawaii is wonderful if I am there alone, but if she is with me, it makes the experience so much better. I want her to share in my experiences. Last thing is that we communicate together, almost always. It isn't that we are jealous of what a person says to either on of us, but we like to know what is being said, as a team. It keeps us honest and open and prevents us from having to recap any conversations. We trust each other completely, but we also realize that anyone can mess up and by putting yourself in a situation that could potentiate cheating or dishonesty doesn't seem wise to us. I'm sure some of you will want to interject and say "well, you two must not trust each other. We never worry about things like that. We love each other too much." Maybe so. But our opinion is that when you start to spend alone time with another person, talking freely about whatever the subject may be and are fucking that person, well...it seems dangerous. It's just like when I am at work. If a girl flirts with me or gets too close, I make sure to tell my wife and keep her updated and I also try to distance myself from that person. Not that I plan on cheating, but we are all human and have weaknesses. And by always being honest and open it helps to keep our marriage strong. So, maybe the truth is that we are just not secure enough in our relationship to do something like hall passes or an open marriage, or maybe the truth is that everyone who tries it will fail miserably and end up divorced. It probably is somewhere in the middle of that spectrum, as most things are. Few things are black or white. But we wouldn't entertain the idea of a consistent hall pass. What is your fondest sports memory - - Yeah, I know this is a swingers site but since the boring Monday football forum went off with no drama I thought why not stay on a lighter topic the sports enthusiests can enjoy. So when I see them selling dvd sport follies or greatest moments in sports on tv one thing always comes to my mind. That would be watching the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team beat the Soviet Union for the gold medal. Finland was also a very strong team that year and we were not expected to win. It truley was a miracle on ice. There are so many memorable moments in sports, so what is the one that comes to your mind first? Maybe an undefeated season, a career ending injury, Tom (who is this kid) Brady taking over for Drew Bledsoe and leading the Patriots to the super bowl.

Swing Camp (7/15 - 7/17) - Swingers Campout in Birch Creek Idaho - "This one time at Swing Camp..." Do you know how you would complete this sentence? No? Well, come join us for the 1st Annual Black Ring Society of Idaho Swing Camp and let's make some naughty and sexy memories that we can use to complete that sentence! We are going to host a swinger's campout at Birch Creek Campground (north of Mud Lake on ID-28, more information below) on the weekend of July 15-17. We have reserved Group Site #4 for this event. This is going to be a group event with an admission fee of $15 per person (collected in cash at the event). The admission fee will cover the cost of the campground, the large 6 foot grill that we are going to provide for those tent campers who need something to cook on, and other supplies that we will help provide. The area we have reserved does not have a LOT of privacy, but we plan to bring several tarps that we can hang up between campers or in other ways to help us provide additional privacy for the things that we would like to do during this event. There is also not going to be a lot of shade other than that which we provide, so if you have a pop-up canopy you can bring, it will surely come in very useful. The campsite is about a quarter mile from the main road and we plan to use campers in a way to block access to the campsite from onlookers. The site is plenty big enough for quite a few campers, so feel free to bring them with the knowledge that there are no hookups there, so this will be dry camping for those bringing their campers. Additionally, if you have them, feel free to bring ATVs because there places to ride up in the area. There is also no place to harvest firewood up there, so be sure to make arrangements for that. We don't really want to plan a lot of group activities because we want members to have the freedom to do what they wish, but here is what we have planned so far. On Saturday morning, Saturday night, and Sunday morning, we are planning to have a group potluck type of cookout where we will provide a grill to cook what you bring. Depending on how we can arrange things while we are there, we think it would be a great idea for the guys to cook the Saturday night meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable) and have the girls cook the Sunday morning meal nude (or as nude as they feel comfortable). Saturday night we have a few group games that we will play with those who are interested. Take I-15 North to Exit 143 for ID-33 2. At the end of the off-ramp take a left on ID-33 towards Mud Lake. 3. Just after you go through the bustling metropolis of Mud Lake (don't blink of you might miss it), take a right ID-28. 4. 24.5 miles down ID-28, you will see a sign on the left hand side of the road for the Birch Creek Recreational Area - Middle Access (attached to this post). 5. Take a left on to the Middle Access road to the Birch Creek Recreational Area. 6. 0.3 miles down the road, you will come to a fork in the road (the 2nd picture). 7. Take a left at the fork and you will see the sign (on the right) for Group Site #4. 8. Someone from the group will be at the fork to check you in, so be looking for that. Things to bring (other than normal camping supplies and equipment): 1) $15 per person for admission. 2) Food for your consumption keeping in mind that we will provide a grill for cooking 3) Firewood 4) Pop-up canopy or extra blankets to be used for privacy and/or shade Even though we KNOW this campsite may not necessarily be ideal for this event, this is the site that we have chosen and reserved, so we plan to make the best of it and we hope that you will be able to join us for this event and have some outdoor fun with us.

The mormons actually announced in church times needed to fill protest and picketing lines in front of the place. They would take pictures of those entering the shop. yeah, it didn't last long. One in wendover might be able to fly....but who wants to drive all that way when house parties do just fine. No...I don't see an On Primise site anywhere near the future for SLC, despite the fact it has one of the largest swinger communities in the nation.

Saturdays Vortex Party - - Just an idea. Even the wife and I have talked about this. When we first started in the L/S back in NC. We went to hotel Parties. Then a cpl from FL baught a house just for swinger parties. They didnt live there just opened it up on sat. for swingers. It was privite house so you didnt have to worry about cops and you could pretty much do as you like. We had a good time at the V but did not like the fact that on the dance floor there was a wall of guys just stairing you down. I know Ut has its own rules. SWMTCPL you used two little words in your original post that opened this thread, "to us". Those two little words accommodate for a lot of variation in this lifestyle. When you say "to us" you are telling everyone how you fit in the big picture of what the swinger lifestyle is. If you read another persons profile or listen to what the have to say as to what their desires and interest are, you know what this lifestyle means to them. If we are open minded enough to understand this, and don't try to force our beliefs on others, who have view's that differ from ours, we are genuine swingers. The most basic rule in swinging is NO MEANS NO. If you are confronted by someone who does not suit your desires, be it because of their looks, gender or the activity, you can always say NO, and go your own way in this lifestyle.
