Mormons - - We too find a suprising amount of swingers either are or were mormon, but then again maybe its not so surprising. I often refer to it as the 'Preachers daughter' syndrom: either your pure or you do what you want and flaunt it. Utah seemed to produce alot more of the latter.

Meeting new swingers? - Where to meet them? - I think this is a hard one. In a small town, there probably wouldn't be a local swingers club so you'd almost have to resort to hinting around at bars or social gatherings. Obviously, you don't want to just come out and say 'Hey, we're swingers, how 'bout you?' But maybe trying to converse with a couple you may be interested in and gradually throwing out a hint here or there may be a way of going about it. Feeling out the conversation without being too forward. Maybe try to create a normal friendship with the couple at first, then introduce conversation that hints to the wild side down the road.

Not a fucking chance. That is ALL bullshit. We lived in Draper for years and we're very familiar with the puddle of ACTUAL members in your area. If you have 4000 profiles just in your area, one of the least populated states in the country, this site would be exploding with activity. It's not. Nationwide, this site rarely shows more than 1650 people online at any given time. In the entire country.
Swingular has a bot program that constantly generates fake profiles all day, every day. They're pretty easy to spot. This site is only relevant along I-15 between Ogden and Spanish Fork, with a few stragglers in the region as far as ID, WY and NV. Swingular also activates dead profiles and allows them to show as "being online" when they aren't. The whole thing is a farce. [/quote]
We've been on Swingular since it was a beta. There ARE a LOT of swingers (of varying activity levels) in Utah...probably due to the repressive nature of the local religion as much as anything. We've been active in the swinging community for 30 years here and in a number of different states and can attest to the fact that, per capita, Utah has a comparatively large, active and vibrant swing scene. We've personally met (but not necessarily played with) hundreds of different couples and we're really not all that active as far as attending parties or going to meet and greets or even meeting people thru the site. I don't know for certain if Swingular has "bots" but I'm fairly certain that if it did it would be quite easy to tell by seeing replicated photos, etc. It's easy to reverse Google a photo on Swingular and see if it's a stock photo or taken from another site. If there is another way that you're able to "spot" fake/generated profiles please enlighten the rest of us so that we can see your proof.
Who started it? - Who/How/How long? - Before we were in the lifestyle, we went to Hedonism. Nothing happened, but it started an itch that I knew I had to scratch one day if I could convince my wife. Years later at a vanilla party with friends and being drunk, I inadvertently mentioned we went to Hedonism. Our best friends picked up on that and asked if we were swingers. To our astonishment, they told us that they were in the lifestyle and encouraged us to consider it. A few months later, the wife and I went to Sea Mountain in Palm Springs and I told her that I wanted to watch her have sex with another guy. Later that day, she introduced me to a guy and stated that he would be the guy she would have sex with. So, it happened and I loved it. I told my friend who then helped me set up a profile on a swingers website and shortly afterwards, we met another couple from it for our first couples experience. The rest is history. BTW, that initial profile has undergone 1000 revisions as our strict rules were eventually eliminated. Haha!
