Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - I don't think anyone is saying you should give single guys a try. No matter whether you motivations are insecurity, racism or just plain not turned on by it, you shouldn't feel pressured into something you're not into. However, it's not cool to come into a thread that's directed to those that are interested in them and spread intolerant messages about them, because you don't like them. In other words, it was an AB conversation C your way out. LOL!
I don't mean that directly to you AKLIM. I mean that to anyone that would make it their mission to spread intolerance of a group out of sheer spite. That kind of shit should no exist in our community. No one is asking anyone to do something they're not willing to do, but on the same token, don't get on a soap box and spread hatred of anyone, just because you don't agree.
If a single guy is at a party and you pack up and leave because you've got this preconceived notion that all single males are pigs and are just waiting for you to take a piss, so they can approach your wife, while you're away... I say this... 1) So what? Is your wife not capable of handling herself? 2) Are you not capable of saying, "Hey, Sorry man, we're not into single guys." I see that as no different that taking care of a couple you're not interested in. Quite frankly, there are far more asshole, disrespectful men in couples that we've encountered, then the single variety.
I know of a very respectful single male in the West Valley area that was a total gentleman and opens his home to couples so that they have a haven to party naked! lol.

Alternative ways of connecting. - - We have five kids, all now adults, and most are now married and have kids. Kids and frankly grandkids make hooking up somewhat difficult. Before the spontaneous grandkid visits began, we used to host, have swinging dinner parties, etc. Our swingers playroom has been converted to a grandkids playroom. We are fine with that. Family first. If you’re hooking up with couples that also have kids, and or enjoy family lives that don’t require the crew knock before entering, most of us tend to go the hotel, motel, Holiday Inn route. The bar at the Monaco hotel is classy and the suites are too. It’s a nice place to meet and talk. If you decide to move forward they usually have rooms available.
Christain Swingers? - - We have to say from our church background and understanding of scripture (and we were both unpaid ministry when we married...how things change lol!) that the answer is a big NO. Now we do not practice our faith at all and have totally fallen out due to some other reasons that we don't really want to get into.
Not trying to start a flame war or change anyone else mind, if you still have faith, more power to you!:D This is just our personal understanding of the Bible, for us being a Christain Swinger is the same as a Jewish Nazi, it's just not going to work. Of course the church thing has had us so screwed up anymore that we hope we are wrong. We are on here as well, so you know who our friends are.

Chat room - - We do use our cell phones and Facetime with well-established lifestyle friends. Threema is a excellent inexpensive encrypted chat function with some group capabilities. We don't know any swingers that use it.
