Both of these places have licenses as "health" clubs, there is no such thing as a license for a swing club, Sunrise Manor was the only recent place busted and shut down due to it's proximity to housing and the neighbors caught wind of what was going on inside.
You would be wise to stay away from both.

TEMPTATIONS ( CANCUN ) - CRAZY PARTY AND FUN - We have been to Temptations and the OP is correct it’s a non stop party with all inclusive drinks and food. However no playroom and not too many swingers and topless optional only. There is a quiet pool for those who want to relax.
We have reservations for their sister resort Desire Maya Pearl in June. That resort is clothing optional, a playroom and I am sure a party atmosphere also based on previous experience with this group of resorts and cruises. What really defines a TRUE swinger? - - We never have viewed single males as swingers. To to us and most of our swinging couple friends single males are cheap sex toys you carefully pick from, use them on rare occasions and then return them and forget them. Sounds harsh but the great thing is that is exactly what the majority of single males that we have all met like. We have only met a couple single males out of hundreds that have broken the mold and surprised us.
Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - We meet on a pretty steady basis with a few cpls to go to a karaoke bar sometimes there is a after party and sometimes we simply just do karaoke and go home. We have been on nude boating outings, just soaking in hot tub, air shows, dinner all differnt kinds of activities with our swinging friends we mix a bit of socillizing with our swinging activities but evetually at some point most end up playing with us in the end

Where to go, what to do. - Non club activities - For our first activity we are going to try to diversify and do two activities on two different days.
1. An evening of something wicked: A delightful Eye-full
It is a burlesque show at a theater. It is at Fort Douglas Post Theater 245 South Fort Douglas Boulevard (Bldg 636, Salt Lake City, UT
It is from 6:00pm to 9:30pm and costs $10 per person at the door. This should still leave you available to get to the mansion party that same night if you were going to that.
If you want to be easily identifiable to other swingers (this isn't an event is open to any one) please tie a purple ribbon around your wrist. If you don't want to be bothered with that we will have our ribbons on and I will be wearing an obvious feather in my hat until the performance starts and I will put it back on after it is over.
