OUCH - Anyone caught swinging bu family or friends? - Have to say it happens quite frequently with us...comes from knowing so many folks, I guess. I tend to run into friends of my kids..at meet and greet locations..as well as a relative or two of my own...a nephew that frequents 48...A couple of coworkers are on this site...

Age differences - How do you handle it - We2, I can understand what you are saying. My first wife was 16 years older then I and my current wife is 6 years younger. First wife helped me to mature early and quickly and current wife keeps me young and on my toes. Seems like most everyone feels similar to us. Maybe the people having the conversation we were involved in should have said the younger swingers that were at the party they were referring to were not as mature instead of saying they are more into flirting and dirty dancing rather then playing.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - We tend to focus more on an overall package deal, rather than choosing to focus on one parameter specifically, such as age. Personality and intellectual attraction combined with levels of physical attraction sometimes make the issue of age a moot point.
Black and white generalizations are something we prefer to avoid when referring to those we encounter in the lifestyle, i.e., younger ones are always too immature or clueless, older ones have no stamina, etc.
Diversity within the swinger community is too great to even attempt such broad categorizations. Besides, what potential fun/friends are we missing out on because of that?
Honestly, we have found younger couples to far exceed their years in relative wisdom, often surpassing those that are well above their age group. Inversely, my wife and I will outlast most party goers ten years our junior.

Per Couple40's suggestion above... the best way to "meet groups" is to organize a group meetup.. places like Scorez occasionally are used for this.. where 3 or 4 couples will meet up to grab a table and chat.
