Too Many Fake People Here - Nobody really wants to fuck! -
Before we moved to the coast 3 years ago, we were pretty active in the Utah lifestyle, and it definitely seemed more active and vibrant than it does now, at least insofar as we can judge from activity on this website. Back then we would regularly do things with the same three couples, all of whom we met on Swingular, and we notice now that two of their profiles are no longer here on this site. So you might be right, although we hope not, because we had a blast with this in Utah. When we did make the move out of Utah, we switched to another website, as Swingular is strongly Utah-centric. In fact, we've never had a single communication on Swingular from anywhere at all outside of Utah. Hey, if things get too sparse, come meet us in Portland, which apparently is the #1 swinger city in the country. We had no idea about that when we moved to Oregon, but we're not complaining. Go to Privata downtown if you ever have the chance. And if you ever tell anyone that you're not interested in a physical relationship with them, and they lose it (happened to us one time), then they're no one you wanted to hang with anyway. You'll do well to be rid of them. If any of you ever make it to the coast, you're invited to sip wine with us and watch whales from our deck. Best of luck to you. And Happy New Year.
Our point originally was that perhaps these people aren't really as fake, as they are private. I think the scene here is actually still doing quite well! It's just changing. In our case, we're just not as "out there" anymore as we used to be....And kind of feel like maybe that's true for a lot of folks. And maybe it's our age...we are 10 years older now...and not exactly in high demand. That said...we just may have to do a bit of whale watching in Portland, someday.....

Are there any real players on this site? - -
I guess I don't mean "players" so much as "people who like to play". I am always courteous, polite and I think friendly, but wondered why so many people join these sites if they're really not interested in interacting with others with similar interests. Perhaps it's just a bunch of men posting pics of their wives or girlfriends in the hope of others doing the same. Anyway for those of you who are real, a friendly response to a "hello" or "friend request" even if it is "no thank-you" is much appreciated. AT least we'd know there are real people out there!
There are plenty of people here who like to play. WHO, exactly, they like to play with is the overriding question. As some have pointed out, geography is somewhat against you here as well as the fact that you're a single male and, for some, don't bring as much to the table (i.e. a partner). But there are plenty of people who play with single males. It's just that with single males it's DEF a buyers market and those who play with them can be, and often are, very choosey. Simple supply and demand. And I know it's hard for some guys (not saying you're in this category) to not think that all swingers are DTF anyone, any time, anywhere. Market yourself wisely. Find your target audience (Read profiles METICULOUSLY to make sure you know someone is looking for someone like you.) and, most of all, be patient and you will eventually find people to play with.

RECOGNIZING OTHER SWINGERS - Outside of clubs & parties. - I just put my wife upside down in the cart as I push her through the store. Works great.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News -
So, Heidi has been stalking this thread... Sweet, please friend us :) We can share stories about how your other "news" friends chose to partake, but not publicize. Your story portrayed a woman forced into the lifestyle. Anyone forced should get out immediately. That is just wrong. The woman "shown" was not a willing participant and was being abused. It's sad that this was not the focus. Abuse in any form is wrong. She could have just as easily been sold on craigslist to spice it up. This was a very poor excuse for journalism. Good luck with your next "story." I'm sure this site thanks you for the free publicity though. Bring in the new recruits, as long as they are adults and making their own decisions...
There's little journalism here in Utah; it's about driving views whose numbers can be used for ad revenue. Titillation drives views. The curiosity gap ("You won't believe what happens next!") drives views. Informing is never considered necessary, only attracting views and/or clicks. There are hungry children in every county of this state but a salacious and sexxxay story is what they choose to put on the news? Useless entertainment masquerading as a higher purpose.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Posted By: KRISTYLYNN2002 Reply posted on: Jan 8, 2008 - 9:34 am we are all Racist in one way or another,, so if you say your not ,then the only one your fooling is yourself, we are all good at puting blame on someone else, Alton We are all prejudiced in one way or another. Racism, sexism, etc, etc are all forms of prejudice. If you say "Pit Bulls are a dangerous breed.", you are not guilty of racism. You are guilty of prejudice. However, prejudice against a breed of dog is seen as way more acceptable than a person, religion, etc, etc in the social setting. Few, if any will say much if I said that pit bulls, on the whole are a dangerous breed of dogs because we can see from the statistics that they tend to hurt more people than any other breed of dog. However, if I said that black people are a more dangerous breed of people because statistics show them to be more likely to be incarcerated than white people, look out. Why the difference? Prejudice against dogs is seen as more socially acceptable than prejudice against people. All we are doing is compartmentalizing the prejudice so we can make certain ones more acceptable than others. Is prejudice good? Well, ask the insurance companies. They categorize people based on many factors to be good or bad risks. Profiling is a form of prejudice. Whether it is acceptable or not depends on who you target it at.

Swingers Kickball Society - - We are definitely interested, sounds like a blast.

Rolling??? - Thoughts Comments - I'm not taking anything wrong, I just noticed this sort of strange attitude about things when i was looking at an interracial thread. People were trying to convince others that interracial relationships and swinging were morally wrong and a major health risk, and it kinda made me think. I think it's great that everyone has talked about this. A lot of people, swingers included use drugs and I think it needs to be brought up, good or bad. And I want to say also, that I really apppreciate everyone taking the time out to post about it. And I thank you.

Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - Wow...serious topic here...I think I have to agree with what most have said though...especially Kitty...kisses...Naugh-Ty

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - It's too bad. They had an opportunity to expose more people to a healthy, vibrant, valid lifestyle choice. Instead it appears they will fear monger and use the states natural prejudices to present a skewed and irrational viewpoint from a person who could very well only be attributing their marriages demise to swinging purely to deflect from any other problem that could have been present. Not to mention that she is essentially an anonymous source and unless they can provide any validation for her story it may as well be entirely fiction. Of course it is on local news in Utah so most likely the only people who will be watching it won't know how to work a computer.

Is it a “preference” or is it “ discrimination” - -
Omg.. seriously? Ok. I am really getting tired of all this.. if you don’t then you are a racist. Ok swingers and single.. let’s push Congress to re-amend the 1964 Civil rights act to create a new cause of action “Failure to fuck a minority” and create a federal regulation requiring members to post “I am an Equal Opportunity Swinger”.. I hope this helps. Ugh...
I’m not saying because they are not getting fucked I get plenty fucked. I think you mis understood me.
