How has swinging made your marriage better? - - Communication (REAL communication) is the key but still it's not enough if someone really wants to stray or outright leave. There's been an interesting discussion on another swing site we're on about some of this topic and an old timer on there (who's now divorced) brought up something that we found interesting and that seems to be fairly ubiquitous in the lifestyle. It turns out that most women who have been in the lifestyle for a decent length of time have at one time or another (multiple times for Ms. Evil and some of the ladies we've known for some time) been told by a play partner (more often by a single male or even more often a vanilla guy...lot's of swingers seem to get a thrill out of vanilla hunting I guess) that if they were THEIR partner they would NEVER share them with another man. Think about that for a minute. With the way most women are raised and the messages society pounds into their heads about love, romance, fidelity, etc., how powerful are those words are. In fact let's take a little poll. Are there any women who've been in the lifestyle for, say, at least 5 years and play fairly frequently who have never had a guy tell them or insinuate that? Just curious.

Tampa Bays Premiere Swingers Club
Club Elite, located in Port Richey Florida, was founded in September of 2007 for the purpose of providing a home to the swinging community of not only Tampa Bay, but the entire nation. The owners, Eric and Angie, have been ambassadors of the swinging lifestyle for over a decade. Alaska Swingers - - Wife swappers in Alaska? That's crazy talk. Everyone knows that little old Mormon Utah is where all the swingers are.
I'm sure there are plenty of swingers in Alaska. Just a matter of finding them. Check out other swing sites. Most are geographically biased. You can also try Craigslist as many peeps go there to find like minded people to swap with. Good luck.
Signals, Identifying 'markers' - Do scarves, jewelry, or other items worn a certain way ID you as part of the lifestyle? - We have never heard of the gold ring but the pendant that is growing in popularity in Utah seems like a nice way to distinguish swingers in crowd. Being both straight, we prefer to be upfront and just say it like it is so there are no surprises. We have brought the pendant up in a few groups we belong to or run here in Florida and hope we can follow Utah and make this the universal way to find each other in a crowd.
Mormons - - Wow....this topic is a strange one to have on a swingers site, but I guess people are curious about Mormons in the lifestyle.
We are LDS, and active at that, although we have never been through the temples, and we do not wear garments because we are not ready to meet the requirements
(we could lie and get in, but that to us seems like a bigger sin)
Now...the question how to we reconcile what we do with what we believe?
Well the answer is simple.
We all know when we feel guilty about something, and usually if we feel guilty we need to reconcile ourselves or something in our life. Then perhaps there is something that we need to repent for.

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - The idea of a club sounds intriguing but for couples like us, who are only interested in single males, I'm not sure if a club would offer what we are looking for. They seem to be more centered around couples and single females.
Why are there so many swingers from Utah? - - We were actually considering moving home to Florida at summer's end! Maybe a 2500 mile detour out west is in order?
Florida does seem to be the swinging mecca of the US. We have lived in Texas, California, and Florida and have have noted that South Florida (which should lose any such contest based on the population count alone) boasts 3 of the worlds best swingers clubs; atleast by NASCA's tally.
We are fairly good friends with the owners of two of the other popular paid sites, and they are based in Florida, so the Floridian member count is very high.
We helped to launch one in 2003 (a new swingers website) and it was 100% Floridian until we moved up here to Maryland, bringing the gospel of the (adult) "private adventure" with us. Our repeated attempts to convert the local natives to morally casual, sexually enlightened beings have met with limited success. (There are far more churches here than 7-11's, so I fear it will be a long and hard fought battle.)

Our condolences. As for your problem with swinging is concerned, I think it is that you are single. Most people have a hard time getting couples to come if there are single males allowed. This is been our experience. We are from the Pacific Northwest too and The clubs like the Ace of Hearts in Portland have nights dedicated to single guys and the couples interested.
While I think "swinging" is open for anyone's involvement, the majority has always and will most likey always be couples. Most couples don't entertain single males. Those that do, should have the right to do so. However, the majority of us don't. While you maybe one of the exceptionally polite and respectful single males that are few and far between (in our experience), most people do not want to ruin their night being bombarded by single males and most will decline to come.
Have you ever thought of bringing a date to the party? You should know that most people like things even. Try bring a date. If you are trying to remount the horse in the swinging scene you are making a mistake. Try normal dating. Trying to change the way people think because your life suddenly changed and took a turn for the worse probably won't do any good. Whether people admit it or not, swinging is a couples thing. If you want to better your chances of success with swingers, you have to play the game. Bring a date. That's best way to put it.
Again our sympathy for your loss, good luck. We wish you the best. Perhaps you should put swinging on hold and seek a basic relationship first.... I dunno man.
