We had friends that went on the Nudist Cruise on the same ship, the Carnival Legend, a couple of years ago. They said you could be nude anywhere except the main dining room. And as soon as the ship left the various ports you could be nude again...meaning nudity was allowed every evening. I guess we swingers can't be trusted with our own nudity. :( Hopefully they won't add more ridiculous rules and suck the fun out of this cruise. We're keeping our fingers crossed :)

Agree. The problem with Mormon women (and men!) is that if they're strict, by-the-book Mormons, they were virgins (we were!) when they got married and know little to nothing about sex and how to pleasure the human body (including their own!). It took us a LONG time to figure out sex and THEN, once we started swinging, to realize that there is a big wide world of sexual experiences and techniques and that no single act, 'move', or technique is universally preferred or desired by everyone.
Having said that, probably the vast majority of swingers we've encountered in Utah are or were Mormons and you have to decide, especially if they're new and/or you're trying to convert them, if you're kind of willing to be mentors (for lack of a better term) and/or just be very very patient and sort of go back to the basics or at least to whatever level that they're at. It's really quite sad since we've known SO many Mormons who strictly followed their law of chastity only to find, after they were married, that they weren't at all sexually compatible. And I personally think that is one of the leading causes of divorce (along with different types of abuse) among Mormons.
P.S. I hope this didn't come across as condescending. Like I said, we were Mormons and went thru pretty much everything I mentioned above. But we were some of the lucky ones who were both pretty much on the same page sexually.
P.S.S. If you DO happen to find a great current or former Mormon couple who is keen on having sex with other couples, you're likely to unleash a LOT of repressed sexual energy that you will likely enjoy very much! [em]Emo_4[/em]
Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - Poly is pretty much a multi-party marriage (more than two) and includes all the commitments that go with a marriage.
Swinging is "recreational sex" irreguardless of what other relationship you might be in, ie single married, poly etc.
The one thing that I disagree with in the thread is that swinging does not or should not involve a relationship. Rather it is the LEVEL of relationship/commitment that is the question. If you have friends, especially close friends (and I hope you all do) that is a relationship. "Normal society" says you must be in a much higher level of relationship/commitment ie married to have sex. Swingers say you can be on a good friends, friends, or even just acquaintences and have sex. All of these are relationships and I would submit for your consideration that there are a lot of swingers that enjoy getting together with the same people multiple times and also enjoy other things together outside of hopping into bed with each other. That all is a relationship but lower level of commitment. So maybe the commitment level is really the demarkation.
We swing and really enjoy it. We have friends that are also swing partners and we enjoy them both as swingers and friends. We have friends that don't swing and we enjoy them. Those are all relationships, but the commitment is to friendship and or swinging. Does this make sence?
Swinging and the Mormon Church - - We know and have known many active Mormon swingers over the years and I think they pretty much have a personal "don't ask don't tell" policy. And, of course, they lie...to their Bish or whoever when asked if they're chaste and stuff. I'm fairly certain most religions pretty much frown on wife swapping and most other forms of sexual relations with someone other than your God approved spouse. So I think the bottom line for most people who espouse a religion would be denial or simply willful disregard of THAT particular religious doctrine. However, as FORMER Mormons (well raised that way, anyway) we do know that there is sort of a loophole that many may not be aware of so you can basically fuck other peeps (and do other naughty shit...short of murder) and still go to heaven...eventually. Check out D&C 132:26. Now the way I interpret that "scripture" I'm pretty much covered (even though I'm an atheist) and will still get to go to heaven and stuff if on the VERY slim chance I'm wrong and it isn't all bullshit. ;-)
Mexico! Come with us!!! :) - Trying to put together a group of Swingers to go to Mexico with us! - Oh also it will depend on what type of room people want as well. For us we had a ocean view swim out Jr. Suite that we loved (the picture above was the sunrise view from our room) but some people might be happy to opt for just an ocean view or a pool view or something else that would be cheaper for that couple. KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - We watched it last night. It was totally one sided and from a bitter woman looking to lay blame for her failed marriage. She thought that swinging would fix her marriage. This is the most ridicules thing I heard. First of all if you don't have a 100% strong and trusting relationship then stay away. This is not marriage counseling. Second of all about the STD, play it safe or understand the risk. Third don't throw around the religion card to get sympathy. We are all adults and make choices be adult enough to live with the ones you make. As for the therapist she was way of base bringing in the emotion of love to the swinging world. There is a difference between sex and love, one is a act of the way you treat and live with your other and one is purely to satisfy a animal instinct we choose to satisfy. This was a one person bitch session to get even for her own failures in life not a fair say on both sides.
