Bryon - Text first - Old fashion wouldn't be on a swingers wedsite.

Bi-Sexuality - A question for the girls of swingular -

So it's a BENCH of single males and what, a swarm of swingers? "Mayhem" sounds WAY more descriptive, by the way, from everything you've told me. [em]Emo_49[/em]
For swinger men, it's a pestilence.
Does that encompass the entire spectrum? Married and single? Or does one demographic embody that term? Just curious in case I want to be incensed...or even outraged! [em]Emo_25[/em]

Perhaps this the answer... - "Sweetie, is that couple looking at us?" - Bracelet, necklace, pinkie ring, secret sign. We all talk about how to spot swingers in normal every day life. Perhaps if we all just bought one of these :) http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/07/magnetu-connects-you-with-similar-people-in-your-area-because-d/ Seriously though, it would be horrific if one was to run into their boss at a bar who for whatever reason also happened to be carrying one of these devices while yours was set to swing. But none the less, it was the first thing I thought of when I read this article.

upside down pineapple? - -
Greetings from your fellow 20+ yr. LS veterans. I think is a forced meme with more fuzz than action. But is relatively new, 4 yrs at most. You haven't missed anything. We would not approach anyone using an upside down pineapple because there are plenty of safer, foolproof ways to meet playbuddies. Also, what if I'm wearing a pineapple upside down at the mall and a single male approaches us about it? My pineapple will for sure go up his ass and then I'll lose it. As per urban dictionary, The pineapple represents hospitality and welcoming. A pineapple is placed on a porch or mail box by swingers to signify that a swinger party is going on. A pineapple is turned upside down when a person is in search of a swinger party. Originally it was turned up side down in the individuals shopping cart. But pineapple popularity has made it accepts on clothes and other items. Swingers use this symbol to identify each other in public. I'll stick to the good ol' internet or quality, single male free LS gatherings. There are plenty of those.
Well as a 30+ years as a LS enthusiast I think it’s just good old fashion fun. We have them in our RV just for a reaction. And the internet doesn’t seem to have a positive outcome as it did in the past.

I Don't Care if You LIKE Me... Let's F**K! (???) - - Ok... We recently (accidentally) overheard a conversation between three "newbie" couples. Earlier, we had talked to them and during the conversation had briefly mentioned our personal ideas about "Friendships" vs. "Notches on the Bedpost". (We're Pro-Friendship). We explained that we have many friends in the Lifestyle that we have never played with - as (we believe) most Swingers do. (?) Anyway, during the course of the later (overheard) conversation we heard from two different participants the comment (and I quote), "I don't CARE if you LIKE me, Just F**k me and I don't care if I never see you again." At first, we were annoyed with this attitude. Then somewhat amused. Now we're just curious... about how many "Seasoned" Swingers have this "You don't have to like me - Just let me F**k you" attitude... and how exactly that works? (We figure that if we don't like someone, why in the world would we share ourselves THAT PERSONALLY with them?) HOWEVER, we realize that not everyone thinks like we do and that there are a lot of different attitudes and feelings about the Lifestyle... and we're really curious now! Please share YOUR TAKE on this? We're not looking for validation on our own Lifestyle Ideas and Values (we don't need it), but we DO have Inquiring Minds and we're interested... No Judgments... Just Pure, Simple Curiosity......

Cuckolding - -
Enjoying seeing one's wife/partner have sex with another man (despite the definitions one usually finds in the vanilla world) doesn't reach the level of what true cuckolding is or has come to mean, especially in the context of the lifestyle. While there definitely IS a small subset of swingers who enjoy cuckold-type play it often involves more of a humiliation vibe directed towards the husband and sometimes even some bondage as well, i.e. husband tied up and "forced" to watch wife fucked by a more virile man, etc. while being told how inadequate, small, unmanly he is compared to the "bull". This misconception of mainstream swinging denoting a cuckholding component for married male swingers is not only way off the mark but it's also a little dangerous in that it far too often gives a very false picture of what the scene actually is to many single males who then treat women/couples accordingly. This, in turn, perpetuates the stereotype of the single male who doesn't really "get" what the scene is about and leads to trashing ALL single males. We've been AMAZED over the years at how many single males think that married male swingers are cucks when that couldn't be further from the truth.
One of our complaints about free MFM pornography, is that too often there is some level of humiliation written into the stupid script when it's a husband and wife with a single male. I guess you get what you pay for. Now good old fashion, we are all friends here, two men taking turns making love to a hot wife, now that turns our crank. We are even cool with sloppy seconds scenes. Wife making a tape of her fucking a lovers brains out, for her husband to watch later? Hell yeah. Just not some poor guy with his dick in a little cage getting insulted. We would speculate that 99.9999% of the couples that checked the yes or maybe box, for single males on their profile are not looking for cuckold experiences.

STD/STI Testing - - Actually it was closer to 1981 When HIV became aware to the medical community in the US if that is what you meant by that 1989 date. http://www.avert.org/aids-history-america.htm HIV and HSV are the two nasties that should be of most concern for most swingers as they are incurable and HIV can be deadly. Both are costly in terms of lifelong medications but also in quality of life. They will be with you FOREVER! HSV can pass by something as simple as a kiss and or oral. Do clean test results mean something? YEs and No! Mathematically speaking the risk is related to a pyramid factorial equation. Meaning, for each new partner you have that is untested you are basically adding in the risk of not just that one person (Primary) but all the persons they have been with (secondary) and all the partners that those secondary people have been with etc etc.. HIV has been know to take up to 6 months of lag time from exposure to when it shows up on a test but 90 days is normally considered the standard waiting period. So any primary partner you play with who has been with someone in the past 90 days before they were tested still could have given HIV to you. Granted HIV is rare. But HSV is not! HSV cant take 2-3 weeks to show up on test results. 70-80% of the population will test pos for HSV as there are many folks who have the mouth cold sore HSV 1. To keep it simple sometimes in the testing HSV 1 really shows up as HSV2.. SO sometimes this means if you do test positive for HSV 2 it is really only HSV1. This is one reason Planned Parenthood will try to talk you out of this 160$ test One more thing to add. Most people still think as long as they dont have an open HSV 2 genital herpes outbreak they are good to go. This has been found to not be true. There is a relatively new phenomenon recognized in the scientific community called Viral shedding. http://herpes-coldsores.com/viral_shedding.htm Another worry that is rare but possible and I know of a recent case where a person gave someone Oral herpes HSV1 to the genital area of another person. There is also Chlamydia that everyone almost laughs off because a single dose of meds will cure it! The sad thing is if you got CHLAM you could have got HSV or HIV also as they run together. TO explain this if your had a partner that gave you Chlamydia they could have just as eaisly have given you some other things. SO what is the safest thing to do. No play with anyone other than your main partner. But if that is not what you wish then: The safest thing would be for both Prospective couples to stay monogamous for 90 days and then get tested. This is all true to the best of my studies but anyone please feel free to correct me.
