Ways to point out Swingers in public - - I wear an ankle bracelet on my right ankle, which is supposed to indicate we are into Swinging/Hotwifing.
Haven't had one person approach us, or appear to notice it at this point. But it's fun and naughty, so we still go out with it. :)
Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - Swinging in Utah is as active as I've ever seen it. Swinging is a people sport, and you've got to get off the internet and meet people in person. There's free meet and greets, and if $30-$50 is too much to cover the cost of a nice private place to meet and play, then you've likely got bigger problems in life to worry about.
We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Again, the intent of this post wasn't to obsess over this one bad time. It was to express our feelings and frustration. The advice everyone has shared with us is very helpful. We just want to avoid this kind of situation in the future. Realistically we do realize that we will come across this sort of thing again but atleast now we will be better prepared to deal with it. We will do things differently next time. Hopefully any simiular couples reading this will also choose not to contact us and the ones that are on our level will.
What is is with local couples? - Anyone else seem to have the problem with couples local to where you live NOT wanting to meet? - I think people who do not reply are simlarly afraid about pictures. THey are afraid that locals will recognize them. We are in a very small town where we have been asked upon returning from a social at 3 or 4 in the morning what was wrong.... Then it goes thru the 2 closest neighbors to the south living east and west of each other. Then it jumps west several houses and then North across the street and back east again. Within one day. 7 families now know that we got in at 4am and there is speculation as to why. The neighbor across the street, as I picked up my mail one afternoon, at the bottom of my driveway, starts telling me about a couple, that I do not know from the other side of town, about them fighting and how they poor mouth and then they were eating steak...... Do I care ... why should I, but in this town everyone knows everyone elses business.... But regardless of the size of the town people are afraid that someone will find out....<shishhhhhh> <don't let anyone here> that they are swingers and God will curse them.... You know what they say about small towns and Baptist.... They see everything, hear everything that happens and tell everyone about everything ...EXCEPT that they recognize no one in the liquor store.. or local whore house.

IMO if you need and seek an emotional bond (beyond friendship) from someone other than your spouse or significant other that clearly shows your needs are unfortunately not being met, and is a sad state of a relationship. I assume most swingers are swingers for purely physical sexual diversity, and probably don’t want their partner to connect with someone who is looking for a romantic connection (is looking for love in all the wrong places 🎶 lol) ... good luck
Scuba in Ventura California - Scuba Divers like it wet and deep. - I am a scuba diver spending my birthday diving Anacapa and Santa Rosa off California. I will be there the night of April 10th and leaving Sunday morning the 13th. While there ,I have 7 dives planned during the day but have my evenings free and would love to to make Birthday plans with some of the Ventura Harbor area Swingers.

Anyone else notice a lack of swinger hangouts? - Aside from some random dive bar, there is a lack of a real swinger hangout. - So, in the forums ive combed through for swinger hangouts. Aside from making new friends where we meet them and then invite them over for fun later (which dont get us wrong we love and will still be doing that) BUT, aside from some closed down bars and clubs swingers in slc, ogden, provo and tooele seem to be without a place to hang out. Hell ive heard little and less about even just identifying each other aside from one remark on lifestyle bracelets and more or less using swingular to meet up. So my question is there no way to just deem certain places and hangouts and wear something to identify ourselves so if other swingers are on the prowl they know were looking as well?
