Which Motorcycle Survey? - In the market and want your opinion... -
Oh, I have strong thoughts on this subject folks. And I am really doing my homework and shopping very thoroughly. I'm taking my time because I won't be buying until Feb/Mar at the earliest. And I've been watching the Can-Am develop over the past 3 years now. One of our nearby dealers carries them alongside Big Dog Choppers and Suzuki. Interesting line-up. It's not that what others think will make my decision or unduely influence it, but I am interested in reading others' opinions and thoughts to compare to my own. And I'm checking with a few different demographic groups. Let's face it: swingers tend to march to the beat of their own drum more than most folks! LOL I brought up the "cool factor" and image stuff in the context of what our own perceptions are of bike culture. I mentioned that we are cruiser types, not crotch-rocket people. I wear western style riding boots and a black leather jacket. But my jacket has armor inserts, all the modern upgrades, and even reflective piping on a traditional cruiser jacket frame. I wear a Bell military-style open face helmet and goggles. My wife rides a blacked out (Raven) 2011 Star Stryker. So we sort of blend the old w/the new a bit. I guess I'm hesitant about the style change. Thanks for the input and please keep it coming. You're helping me cogitate. LOL
Cogitate? I read somewhere that they've come up with a cure for that in the Netherlands.

Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - Kitty, they go best with a light honey BBQ sauce :) Seriously, we live with only one ethical standard: Do not harm others unnecessarily. Simple and to the point. As to the difference between morals and ethics; I have always believed that morals are those things society pushes on you, be it your church, the law, family, ect, while ethics are those things you take for yourself and make a part of your own beliefs and actions. Do I view myself as moral? Not really. I have consciously chosen to ignore those things which society has attempted to push on me in favor of what I believe to be right and wrong. I obey laws I don't agree with not because I believe those laws to be moral, or myself to be moral, but because I do not wish the repercussions of breaking those laws. That and I live in serious red-neck country and our prostitutes are just downright scary .

Scuba, Nude Beaches, Swingers - Scuba, Nude Beaches, Swingers - we're headed to Jamaica to scuba and sunbath on the nude beach in Montego Bay. Can't wait. CB & KB

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Based on the previews, it doesn't sound like it's going to be a positive story. People who didn't set appropriate boundaries and blame the swinging lifestyle for their failed relationships. Even vanilla relationships will fall without open communication, honesty, and trust. At least with this lifestyle, we know our partner is thinking about sex with others. Those in monogamous relationships have to hide that from each other, even though they do think about it.

LDS Swingers Survey - Will any former/active LDS swingers take my survey? - done. Divorced, remarried non-LDS might be a key question to add.

Swingers Dares - Text for cards in the game - Great ideas...

Single Males - Question - As aggravating as it sometimes is, we don't do the block single males option because one of the first swingers we ever had contact with was, and still is, a single guy. On another site we were on we blocked single guys and never heard from our friend, even though we sent him messages from time to time. We finally got an email at our regular mail telling us he couldn't respond to our messages because we had blocked not just the cold messages from unknown guys, but even replies to our own messages. So, if you ever decide to contact that single guy that catches your eye, make sure you unblock or you will never get a reply.

To message first or not - Do you reach out first? - We respond to inquiries far more often then we make the first contact. When we were younger we got a lot more inquiries and we also made more first contacts . We used to play almost weekly, and sometimes two or three times a week. We attended more meet and greets too. As we have aged we get fewer inquiries. We are probably not within the age parameters, that most swingers are looking for. We also have very little free time. So really it kind of works out. We have discovered that now that are kids are all grown and married etc., that almost all of our social time is family related. Its a good thing! What it has done is eliminate us from the hit most of the events crowd or the hang out twice every weekend crowd. We just can't live up to that. It's not out of obligation it's a choice. We spent far more energy and emotion as parents than we have in the swing scene. So for us spontaneity and flexibility are really key elements. We can't spend much time swinging, but we will make worth someone's time when we do hook up. For us primetime swing time was at the point in life when the kids were old enough to not need a babysitter, they needed a lot of time to hang out with friends and needed a bit of autonomy too. We could go out, while they were out playing with their friends, and play with our friends. Now that they are all real adults, happy and successful, they want to hang out. We enjoy each others company, and for us family really is paramount. We were not swingers when they were young. We really didn't have time for it. Now that our kids are adults, and are doing what we did with family, and we are involved and enjoying it, what and who fits in the lifestyle has changed up a bit. The search engine parameters, and most profiles don't address most of the deeper layers of compatibility. In the end, if you remain true to yourselves, and each other, you'll run into the right people, at the right times in your life.

COVID and Lifestyle - Testing or risking it - Just as an aside (and out of morbid curiosity), how many are okay risking COVID by meeting and/or playing without masks but insist on using condoms when fucking other people recreationally? I'm trying to get a handle on how Utah swingers assess health risks in the lifestyle. Cum One Cum All!!! - - i hope they make a bracelet for nazi swingers...red and black with a cute little swastika. comes with matching lil mustache and inherent hatred for anyone not aryan. and just a couple pages back i read something about sending the "wets" back to where they came from? i guess when you are racist you dont notice when other people are being racist. there is a guy who just started at my work. he is from Venezuela. doesnt speak a lot of english. i know enough spanish to direct him but it frustrates me. ive worked with people from vera cruz, mexico who refuse to learn english or speak it. ive worked with bosnians who dont speak very much english...tibetans..muslims arabs...israelis and palestinians...and a turkish guy who GREW UP HERE and still doesnt speak much english. i do agree that they should put some effort into learning the language of the country they are living in...just like if i went to their country i would be required to learn their language...they aint gonna change for me...although i do make an effort to learn a couple phrases in their language for fun. thats pretty much all that bugs me about immigrants in this country...the language barrier. gives you a reason to get to know them...maybe if you heard their stories you would understand why they are here. one of the bosnians i worked with was royalty in her country...maids..their equivalent of millions of dollars...but in the war, their houses were demolished or used for army personnel. so they came to our country and now work as maids and cooks in hospitals. in their country they dont work...the guys work, and the women cook and clean..so coming here is hell for them..but they are here..they have no choice. you want to send them back to their country? their bullet ridden houses and swimming pools full of corpses..? i couldnt live with myself sending someone back to that hell.
