Android swingers apps? - - I'm surprised Swingular hasn't invested in a decent app - their online experience is the worst.

Important ! Please read this post. - -
You know, I read the sign on my way in here that said "Don't feed the trolls!", but I'm bored and this looks like a fun way to kill a few minutes. So, let's get started shall we?
Ahhhhhhhhhhh another guy who THINKS he knows something, but later on proves that he doesn't....
We all participate in risky behavior, huh? I suppose that depends on your definition of "risky". If you really want to be pedantic, every time you draw breath you're taking a risk. You take an even bigger risk should you choose to not draw breath.
I am sorry, thought this was a swinger site... I guess you have a study that's not from the 1990's that shows that over 50% of people engage in swinging, right? Nope, you don't, therefore we engage in risky behavior!
Typically when one uses the term "risky behavior" they're implicitly saying "behavior that is risky beyond the risk of normal behavior". Having sex with your spouse, regardless of whether they're cheating or not, is not risky behavior.
Regardless if they're cheating? Really? What, praytell, are you doing here, I guess you've solved the world's STD's crisis, right? Found a shot that cures herpes and HIV? Then how is it NOT risky if they are cheating?
Uhm... Did I miss something? What exactly are you saying "BULLSHIT!" to? It seems fairly clear that you're both stating the same sentiment.. are you calling bullshit on the fact that he bothered replying?
AHHHHHHH....Failed reading comprehension, did we? Let's have a look at what they said... What you UNDERLINED is the key.... WITHOUT complete absinence............ Without abstinence, you're engaging in risky behavior! Now, one could say, 'I use condoms, dental damns, and ALWAYS practice safe sex!' Is that enough? Let's see, ever been with a squirter? Ever had a woman get so worked up that her juices are squishing around on your balls? I guess that's not enough to catch something, right? Dr. Darcone, me thinks you need to rethink your ideas.
Are you actively going about doing cultures of these things, just looking for a place disease can be communicated from?
I don't have to, I pay taxes so I don't.
I don't know about the rest of you, but if there's a wet towel at the gym, and it's not mine, I'm not touching it. Soap Dishes? You know, I've always wondered at the point of anti-microbial soap..
Have you ever heard the saying, 'It is better to remain silent and thought of as a fool than to open your mouth to remove all doubt?' This would apply for you. Wet towels look like dry ones, yours is next to theirs, and you've NEVER accidentally grabbed someone else's? A little nick on your hand, BINGO! Anti-Microbial soap ONLY works if left in place for 30 seconds or more. Now, you place your soap on the tray, anyplace that the soap touches, in 30 seconds, would be 99.9% free of microbes, HOWEVER, anywhere it doesn't touch isn't. But you wouldn't touch the soap tray with your fingers, then touch your eyes, nose or mouth, right?
And before you knock wikipedia, it's been verified to be more accurate than any other available encyclopedia. So, while influenza and bronchitis may be transmitted sexually, they aren't STI's. If you get herpaghonasyphaclap from kissing some random corpse, then it is not sexually transmitted by definition. By the same token, an oral infection of HSV-1 is -not- an STI. It becomes an STI once it infects the sacral ganglia. Also worth noting is that neither the CDC nor WHO acknowledge HSV-1 as being an STI.
Chlamydia is the most common form of STD, it IS passed from casual and accidental contact, Herpes IS an STD, it also is passed from incidental contact. So, your entire premise if wrong.
For the actual statistics on extramarital affairs, see: This Study published by Oxford (22-25% of men, 11-15% of women). (fwiw, that article is a fantastic meta-analysis of a broad range of studies)
Actually from a Colorado college, not Oxford. Oxford may be where you found it, but your reading comprehension is, once again, coming into question. The first sentence of your report states its from Colorado. The last time I checked, Oxford is not in Colorado. Additionally, the study is from over 10 years ago, nothing has changed since then, right? The internet hasn't become more prevalent? Easy access to willing sex partners hasn't added to the instances of EMI? Nah, nothing to see here. Perhaps one should look at a more priminent site for these things? Perhaps one should look at the sample size to determine statistical significance? Perhaps one should see who was 'randomly' selected to participate?
Jim, do you actually have a point you're trying to espouse here? Are you just trying to say that sex isn't safe? I'm pretty sure we were all aware of that fact.
As a matter of fact I do, that point is: GROW THE FUCK UP! We're all taking risks, don't cry about the results of your risk taking. Would you allow someone who suddenly decided to try skydiving, had no training, packed their own chute, then jumped and was injured to complain about how they were injured? Of course not, but since it is someone who was TOTALLY aware of the risks involved and they're participating in KNOWN risky behavior its OK because you're participating in it also?
Or are you trying to say "Who needs protection? Sex is dangerous no matter what!"? If that's what you're trying to say, you have much to learn on the difference between risk and certainty.
Not at all.... I am saying, we're all aware of the risks, we don't need to read their alligator tears because they rolled the dice and came up snake eyes.
There are a plethora of things one can do to reduce the risk of contracting -any- STI. There's no certainty that you'll ever be completely safe from contracting one. There's also no certainty that you'll ever contract one.
For once, we can agree on something.
One strong way you can reduce those risks is by clearly communicating what infections you're at risk of spreading. That's the purpose of this thread, and along with most everyone else, I'd like to thank the ABC's for their post.
Showing up at a swingers' party, club, or site is pretty clearly communicating that we're at risk of ANY sexually transmitted desease.

Yet Another Cheater - -
Isn't the reason everyone is here is to have wild different sexual experiences? If a male or female is married and chooses not let that be known then isn't that their business? I agree that if your not comfortable with it then its your right to ask and say no if you find it out. Either way if someone gets caught its not your problem its theirs. I know people on here that play and their spouses do not know many travel and/or dont have great sex at home whether it is due to medication or age or anything else. In the long run I dont think this is as much of a dating site as it is a site of like minded people looking to satisfy adult needs and fantasies. So Have fun and do what your standards and morals let you do. And don't chastise people who dont think like you. Ok I said my two cents. Now lets have some fun.
On a certain level, you're correct. It's nobody else's business. However, one could also use that argument to justify/excuse literally any behavior. What if a guy is abusive to his wife? Is it still nobody else's business since that's between him and her and he's just here to fuck other people? I know that I would want to know about something like that if I was going to be okay on ANY level with him being intimate with my wife. The same goes for a person who is, say, abusive to his kids or kicks his dog and leaves it chained up outside no matter the weather. I could go on and on about bad behavior that we'd want to know about, if possible, before we decided to invite that person into our relationship because, in a very real sense, that's what a couple is doing when they swing with someone else. That's also why many people don't feel like singles have as much 'skin in the game' (i.e. they aren't RISKING as much) and why many feel like so many single guys just don't 'get it'. Personally, Ms. Evil and I can't simply separate a person's sex organs from who and what they are as a person. So yeah, we're not really keen on playing with cheaters as that says something important, at least to us, about their character...or lack thereof. But don't worry. There are still people here who it doesn't bother in the least if the person they're fucking is doing so behind the back of someone they made promises and a commitment to. That's MY two cents. Oh, and when you say "...it's not their problem." well, it actually COULD be their problem. We knew a guy about 10 years ago who ended up in the hospital after a woman's husband (who the guy had been told was aware of and okay with her meeting swingers) caught him in bed with his wife.

single men ...Toys or Annoys? - should single men be allowed to attend swinger parties - I have been on both sides of the fence here. As a pretty shy guy until I get to know people, I may have in the past been perceived as that creepy lurker guy. Heck, I'm probably still perceived as that. Thankfully my other half is drop dead gorgeous... If the single men are respectful and don't think that just because they are going to a swingers party means that they are going to get laid, than I think it's fine to invite a few. I've seen some married guys get pissed off that single guys were at a swingers club because their wife would rather fuck that single guy than fuck them. That can always cause a problem. Of course I've seen married guys who were pissed off that their girl was getting it on with a lady who wouldn't let the guy touch her. So it goes both ways. Whatever happens, I hope you have an awesome and fun party. Wish we were there...

Most public places - - In a museum here in Houston...In a meeting room at the Banff Springs hotel on an antique table. I my girl friends office on the conference room table. In the woods camping out at the Texas Renaissance festival and of course at the voyeurs room at the local swingers club in Houston, TMZ. Good times in all those situations.

Is it all about sex, or do deeper friendships within the lifesty - - I can tell you that we have made some great friend in the lifestyle... Basically I think it's in how one approaches swinging.. If it's all about sex or sex is the prime reason one swings then friendships or relationships are pretty much out of the question. I think it's because you then gravitate toward the swingers who are swinging strictly for sex.... When one socializes with people as just people, even though they are swingers, we tend to find people who are more like us or simply like to socialize and want to be friends. Then if there is attraction and friendship then jump into bed... This also affords people a chance to find out if they like each other... and to ascess if there are any physical or social risks involved. Example of why this may be important.....: A couple, active in a lifestyle club for several years, was friendly with just about anyone and everyone. The guy was one of these guys who was overly endowed and he bragged about same.... and that single feature along with a gift of gab got him laid quite a bit. Then one month they didn't show up and another month and another month and soon rumors started to come out... As it turns out the rumors were mostly true and they were in jail because of illegal activities including kiddy porn involving their own children... and bestiality. So know who you are playing with and think before jumping into bed.... You might catch fleas or something worse. One can never be too careful. These people could have just as easily been worse...????

Profile Pics - Why hide your husbands? - ok we will put our 2 cents in on this one as we have had to a couple of times in the past this has been brought up. we have some of the male half but aroiund here 98% of the swingers are just looking and want to see pics of the wife. they are in this for ff and the hubbys are just tag a lones. we have really gave up on all this we just keep our profile because of good friends we have made. we started swinging 8 years ago . at first it was fun people wanting to chat and meet. we met one couple that we played with since we was new to this it was kinda off the wall. and we didnt really have a good time. then hubby brought a friend home and had a 3some with wife . she didnt really like it . ( not going to say why ). then we went to a party and hooked up with this lady for a three some . while her hubby watched. just to find out she wanted the wife. and hubby got to fuck her the whole 3 minutes before the woman said im soar. soar after 3 minutes of fucking ? BULL SHIT!! just to clear something up hubby has a 8 inch dick and yes he knows how to use it. so looks like all this is not swinging but for women who want to fuck women . thats why we never had many pics of hubby.

Ski cabin for visiting swingers - Alta/ Snowbird Ski cabin - Little Cott6onwood Canyon, where Snowbird & Alta are, is absolutely beautiful either winter or summer. Have worked my entire life in the canyon (started helping my dad in the winter of '62-'63 when my uncle opened the Goldminers Daughter in Alta) and still can't get enough of it.
