We went to the bar the other night and met some new folks, regular guys that aren\'t in the lifestyle- that is they are just regular single young guys. I love to flirt so I had picked out a particular nice guy and we were playing pool etc. Well I happened to mention that hubby and I were swingers etc....
Now my question is, do you only play with someone else who\'s into the lifestyle? This guy really wanted to get in on some action with me and now thinking about it, I just feel nervous. It has brought back old anxieties about when I was single and all the single assholes out there that were looking to just get laid and kick you to the curb. At least in this lifestyle, you get to know people and there is a certain kind of understanding about sex and you usually know that the person you will be fucking cares about you in some respect.
I am trying to make a decision about whether to let this guy in or not for some play. I just can\'t decide how I feel about it.

We too are just at the beginning of a poly triad, our second. The poly life style is hard to define due to the fact that there are lots of combimnations. With most of the posts I would have to agree with all that they said. Dont keep score, but most of all be honest with everyone. In our expirence take things slow and one day at a time. In one post it was said that holding hands in a mall was not taken well.... who cares! it is your life if you are happy then what is the problem. in most cases the on lookers are probably wishing they had what you have! Our first triad lasted 4 years. We were all young and she ended finding the man of her dreams and they got married. That and as abit of a twist they are swingers. As far as suport as a poly familly look at poly groups on facebook. We are members of Polyamory Edmonton. It may not be close to you but we are all open and willing to talk!

Yes, Couples Oasis keeps popping up in our search. Based on the description my concern is that it's more like the meet and greet style event that we find here in Utah. Not exactly the reason I would go to LV since we can find those here! :)

Doctors and the lifestyle - Informing your doctor you are a swinger - Yes we do. It is part of being a responsible adult living an adult non monogamous lifestyle. We feel it is part of the reason we have remained sexually healthy, as sexually active swingers. Physicians need to know as much about you as possible in order to provide you with optimal care and optimal care requires the right testing and analysis. We try and make sure testing is as inclusive as possible. That includes testing for HPV and yes that is not a particularly pleasant test. We have never had a physician act shocked or disgusted.
Age, does it matter? - - In truth yes it does. Perhaps more so on the upside of aging. I seriously doubt that most of the people on this site in their 20s, 30s or 40s are including people in their 60s or 70s in their search parameters. I would guess most swingers tend to prefer people no more than 15 years beyond their ages. That’s understandable. As for older people playing with younger swingers, that probably extends downward a bit further than 15 years. As for the two of us, we don’t hit on people a lot younger than we are, but if they make the first move, we are open to the possibility. It’s happened. We’ve hooked up with people 30 years younger than I was at the time, and 23 years younger than Mrs. Delicious. It’s the exception and not the norm. Swingers cars??? - What ya driving?? - We don't live in Utah, but we do have a couple of corvettes! I have a '04 ZO6, black, and my wife has an '06 convertible, black, and we also have an Escalade EXT. We are members of the East Tennessee Corvette Club, and will be going to Bowling Green, KY the year to the museum, if you would like to see us there.
