swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - That's really funny. I thought every forum was about talking about lots of different things from lots of different people. At least, the one's I've checked out are. Nobody is forcing you to read the "non-swing" talk, noboby is even asking you to. If you're scanning the forums and you don't like the topic, pass it by. I think there are a number of ways to get around any issues. What happens on a private residence is up to those who own the property. I think this is one of the reasons it would have to be a private club, members only. What consenting adults choose to do isn't illegal in a venue like a club any more than it is illegal in a private residence. The trick, as I understand it, is that the venue cannot be a public venue because then you run into public exposure and indecency laws. I could be wrong, and I would have to find someone who understands these kind of laws... the question is... who would actually know... lol. You are correct, there will certainly be some challenges, but I think they can be worked through. As for your idea of renting a house or something like that, I have thought about the same thing and it may be a good idea. Not a fix for what is needed in a club, but it is a start. Divorce rates - How do we compare - We are a bit of an older couple with a different prospective. Amoung our swinging friends and aquaintances if we were to generalize it is that they are on a second marriage, have been married for 10 years or so and are very happy. Amoung our non-swinging friends they are on their first second, or third marriage and are generally unhappy. I would put the divorce rate amoung the non-swingers at more than double that of the swingers over a 10 year period.

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - hmm. being that he is 32 and i am 23, we find ourselves looking at a pretty broad age range. but honestly, and sorry to say (dont want to be a bitch and all :) ), I usually prefer OLDER people. now, you must keep in mind, that most people are older than me :) but for the most part i usually prefer to surround myself with people at least in their thirties. that being said, it is not the actual age, but mental age, that is the true factor........

Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - We were there also at the Interlude event......Let me assure you No child was able to see any adult doing anything of anykind. There was no \"glass Atrium\" there were however glass elevators.. the Party was held in an enclosed invironment with security.. However to get to your rooms you had to take the glass elevators which are in the common area`s of the Crown Plaza......by the way all of the guest for the Interlude party were booked on the ninth and tenth floors ....Now if any child was exposed to anything it was less than anything they have seen on television or any magazine they can see at a grocery store check out line! Now for the mom who was highly offended ,, Her hubby was probably wishing he was with one of those well dressed lovely women!......Damd I cant wait till Disney Has a swingers pride day like they give all the flaming Homosexuals....
