Any advice? - Recent birthday brings changes..... - So...having just recently turned 93 years of age, I have a few questions. 1. I enjoy the meet and greets but thinking it is going to be more and more difficult to find a "parking" spot for my walker when I'm out "break" dancing. 2. Are swingers really kind enough to help me up off the dance floor after I "break" something, and get tired of "peeking up skirts?" 3. What are the chances of a pretty girl actually getting close enough to me to allow such a peek? And, finally... 4. Is there ANY real chance I'm still gonna get any "action" here? I have lots of popcycle sticks and rubber bands..so that isn't an issue. I have a hot 42 year old wife to reward anyone that helps.... Ahhh..so many concerns...and questions. Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - I don't think anyone is saying you should give single guys a try. No matter whether you motivations are insecurity, racism or just plain not turned on by it, you shouldn't feel pressured into something you're not into. However, it's not cool to come into a thread that's directed to those that are interested in them and spread intolerant messages about them, because you don't like them. In other words, it was an AB conversation C your way out. LOL! I don't mean that directly to you AKLIM. I mean that to anyone that would make it their mission to spread intolerance of a group out of sheer spite. That kind of shit should no exist in our community. No one is asking anyone to do something they're not willing to do, but on the same token, don't get on a soap box and spread hatred of anyone, just because you don't agree. If a single guy is at a party and you pack up and leave because you've got this preconceived notion that all single males are pigs and are just waiting for you to take a piss, so they can approach your wife, while you're away... I say this... 1) So what? Is your wife not capable of handling herself? 2) Are you not capable of saying, "Hey, Sorry man, we're not into single guys." I see that as no different that taking care of a couple you're not interested in. Quite frankly, there are far more asshole, disrespectful men in couples that we've encountered, then the single variety. I know of a very respectful single male in the West Valley area that was a total gentleman and opens his home to couples so that they have a haven to party naked! lol. -D-

To message first or not - Do you reach out first? - We respond to inquiries far more often then we make the first contact. When we were younger we got a lot more inquiries and we also made more first contacts . We used to play almost weekly, and sometimes two or three times a week. We attended more meet and greets too. As we have aged we get fewer inquiries. We are probably not within the age parameters, that most swingers are looking for. We also have very little free time. So really it kind of works out. We have discovered that now that are kids are all grown and married etc., that almost all of our social time is family related. Its a good thing! What it has done is eliminate us from the hit most of the events crowd or the hang out twice every weekend crowd. We just can't live up to that. It's not out of obligation it's a choice. We spent far more energy and emotion as parents than we have in the swing scene. So for us spontaneity and flexibility are really key elements. We can't spend much time swinging, but we will make worth someone's time when we do hook up. For us primetime swing time was at the point in life when the kids were old enough to not need a babysitter, they needed a lot of time to hang out with friends and needed a bit of autonomy too. We could go out, while they were out playing with their friends, and play with our friends. Now that they are all real adults, happy and successful, they want to hang out. We enjoy each others company, and for us family really is paramount. We were not swingers when they were young. We really didn't have time for it. Now that our kids are adults, and are doing what we did with family, and we are involved and enjoying it, what and who fits in the lifestyle has changed up a bit. In the end, if you remain true to yourselves, and each other, you'll run into the right people, at the right times in your life.

couples with kids - - We have 4 kids, 3 of which are under 3 years old. An 8 year old girl, 2 year old twin girls, and a one year old boy, so we totally understand the frustration that comes along with being loving parents and active swingers. To two worlds aren't always compatable. We have tried in vain to find a good sitter for all the kids, so most of the time we end up swinging when our oldest is off at a sleepover with a friend and the other babies are in bed. Today for instance, my wife and I had our girlfriend over for fun till 5:30 this morning and the kids got up an hour later!lol. So I am up with them taking care of the kids while the women sleep it off. Hard, but a small price to pay for a hot 3-some! Anyhow, as most swinging parents know....get it when you can, and if not....NO BIG DEAL. The kids needs come first. It's only sex after all. You can’t expect others to not have have rules but have them yourself. It’s not single males that are the issue either, rather the lack of respect/socialization.
