What is it to being a swinger couple - Is it always this way - We have been in the lifestyle now for about 3 and a half years and it's been really fun meeting so many new people but I have a question. But the Single guys at the rooster walk around with dick-in-hand and swarm like sharks. As an out of towner as well, agree with you about most. Been to the rooster once, never again, repulsive, rooting from the cleanliness of the entire place. Been to the Green Door, the cleanliness you would expect. Common area and viewing area littered with single men, seems to be promoting their store. Not traveled like you, but have Trapeze in Miami area to compare these with, also in Atlanta which I find much more desirable than vegas clubs. The Artisan is a fun place and most times you can get something started if that is what you are looking for. Also find the VIP parties at Paris a great place to find like minded people, while not designated as a swinger club, easy to spot the couples looking for a lost night in vegas if that is what you are looking for.
Why the male side of Couples are here...? - I will admit I am hoping to spark some heated debate on this.... - Shit I had to read thru that whole thing like almost twice. Okay fine, I skimmed it almost twice. Why am I (or we) still in swinging (it will be thirty years in the not too distant future!)? For us it's about the great friendships. Sex is great. It's fun to explore that not only with each other but with other people occasionally. But it's totally secondary for us. With swingers, more than any other group of people we've found, we can be ourselves, say pretty much what we want, and not have to filter anything. With most vanillas, especially here in Utah, we really have to tread lightly and watch what we say and do.
