Rooftop Resort - - Hit both of them (The Rooftop and Haulover) a number of years ago. The Rooftop was a little bit seedy to us. We're not hotel snobs by any stretch of the imagination but it was a little run down when we were there. Haulover was kind of trippy. DEFINITELY no kind of swinger vibe at all there. We were there with another swinger couple and hoped it would be a little bit sexier but there were a fair number of families there and at least one with young-ish teenage girls, so it felt a little bit uncomfortable since we are swingers are not nudists. I agree with Don on what he said earlier in this thread. The entire concept of sin was created by the religious leaders as a form of control. Every organized religion serves 3 primary purposes; 1) to explain the why's and how's of creation, 2) to give a foundation of how to live, 3) to give comfort about death. From the beginning of time religious leaders have used the power of religion as a means of controlling the masses to do what the leaders wanted or at least thought was best.
Judao-Christian and Islamic religions went a step farther and created the concept of sin as a method of control. They created a list of commandments and declared that to violate these was to be in sin. Some sins were of greater import than others but it all equalled to the same thing, commit too many or even one of the wrong ones and you would be barred from from enjoyment and peace offered in the afterlife.
So to answer the original question here, Can you swing and not be in Sin? Absolutely you can. Sin cannot exist seperate of heavily regulated and controlled organized religion. Since Religion itself is a fabrication of man, then so Sin is also a fabrication. I don't know too many swingers that particularly care for anyone else telling them what to do, how to do it, or whom they can do it with, regardless of the area of their life. Especially when it comes to their sex life.
Open-mindedness - - I see open mindedness a bit situational for most people and while each has their own levels of diversity openness most still tend to set limits. However the observation about the lack of acceptance of bi males or non bi females in the lifestyle does seem out of context with our actions that reach out for sexual freedom. Hosting a swingers Party - - there is a few ways to do this . and like i noticed someone say u have to be careful on how u do things . if u dont have a lic, then u cant TELL PEOPLE THEY AHVE TO PAY U . u can ask for a dontation to help with the cost . but if anyone choose not to pay u still have to let them in . if not u can get into alot of trouble . one way to charge and it be ok is to have a private group with priavte parties .u can tell the group what kinda of party and then ask them to please send a dontaion with a id pic of them being 21 and over and then email them the loctaion to the party .i am sorry u have friends that dont want to help out with their share to help the party be good . i have never met anyone like that . all the private parties i have been to or heard abot everybody was more then happy to pay to help the party . but u have to be very careful about stuff like this . cops look for every reason to bust a swingers party . if the achool is being handed to u , they will bust u . if u tell them they have to pay to come they will bust u .
i would look in to it and the laws in your state . u can always stop by the cops station and ask some questions . but please be very careful . i hate to see people geting busted for trying to get together and have a party .
if people in your group dont want to pay u . then i would throw the parties at a club . u can call clubs and tell them how many people are in your group and what night u would like to go and most of the time they will give u and your group a deal to get in . and then the poeple have to pay . and it isnt going to u . so u dont have to worry about breaking any laws .
