KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - I can't say too much since we were Mormons when we first started swinging (still are, I guess,...technically). But it's been hilarious over the years to meet so many LDS couples who played HARD on Sat. night but left the party early to get up for church the next morning. The REALLy funny ones were those who would email us on Sunday night telling us they were going to quit swinging (Sunday guilt?) and then about Wednesday write us asking where the party was going to be the next Saturday night. One couple we knew did this almost weekly! LOL
Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - Here is our view.....
Our sex life is private, what we choose to do within our sex lives is private also. We choose not to tell our family members because it is just none of their beez wax, it is personal, and private to us. Most ppl wouldn't understand it especially my family. Stitch's family, well....they probably wouldn't be shocked to hear it, but we still don't wanna share with them. We do have vanilla friends (not many though, we aren't social butterflies, we only make friends with swingers....lol) but we don't share with them our choice to swing. It's just a personal choice we have not to share. It isnt that we are ashamed or that we think this lifestyle is something to be ashamed of......we just think it is something best left between us. Just as what we do together in our own bedroom is private and personal so is our choice to swing. We are good friends with the ppl we work with, but they are all on a needta know basis, and they just don't needta know any of it.
Our kids are to young right now, but as they get older we will just haveta be more careful. We dont' want them knowing about it either. There again, it just comes back to....I wouldn't share with my kids what dad and I did in our bedroom the night b4, so why would I share with them about our choice to swing. It is private and between us as a married couple.
Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - I have to agree with a couple responses above...HEDONISM ROCKS. Hedo is in Jamaicca. They have 2 spots. Hedonism II and Hedonism III. They are an all inclusive vacation that you would buy. Depending on the time of year you go, you and your spouse could get an ALL inclusive (yes this includes drinks too) for probably under $2,000. We have intentions of going for our first trip to Hedonism in October 2004 (this will be our 10th anniversary). Where do you hang out? - Running into each other - Aside from the big events or the Club scene, where do you hang out? There is quite a bit of discussion about recognizing swingers and where can we find swingers. Well maybe we could just let each other know where and when we might be found. We will start.
My darling wife is not much into the club life these days. We are so busy that our free time is often subject to spontaneity. We live in Cottonwood Heights. Our favorite local small bar is the Elixir Lounge, conveniently close to a few nice hotels. We also head over to Hog Wallow from time to time. I work a ton of hours on Saturdays and Saturday nights, so Friday nights we tend to want to be home about 11:00 p.m., but we do like to go have a little fun beginning late Friday afternoon. Sundays during the day we like to go have some fun from time to time. If Mrs. Delicious gets bored and decides to go out on her own Saturday evenings, she will probably head to Elixir. So those are a couple of places and times you might happen to run into us. If you are ever at either of these two establishments and you think you might recognize us, please feel free to come say hi.
Anyway, if you walk up to someone and ask them if they are Deliciously Wet, and it isn't us, that might end up being interesting anyway.
Memorial Day Weekend - Las Vegas Anyone? - Long weekend -- Let's make the most of it! - We are planning on going to Vegas for the Memorial Day weekend. We're looking to sun, fun, water (pool or otherwise), and play!

Can bieng Mormon (LDS) and a Swinger co-exist? - - Every time I see this topic somewhere I wait until there are a number of replys and then put my $ 1.28.7 ( dollar three eighty seven ) into the pot. Religion is a means to control populations. Moral and ethics are dictated by religion and or organized religion first and then government... But lest we forget that organized religion was the government in the early days of the church.. Monogamy is the product of religion and government to make sure of heritage and property rights. BTW this is not simply a Christian practice but many religions do exactly the same thing..
Now, as for the Bible. The Bible is a collection of books and stories that were handed down by word of mouth and then laid down in writing in Sanskrit, and ancient Hebrew and then to a more modern form of Hebrew as well a Ancient Greek.. then a more modern version of Greek. These text were translated by the "Holy" Roman Church and transcribed for humanity and the masses control by monks under papal control. many of the Cannons of the Roman Catholic Church have been more or less adopted by the secular or temporal law, the law of the government. Some things need to be understood about the Bible. IT was written by men translated from dead languages or languages that had changed and it is entirely possible that it was manipulated for the purposes of the Church...
So where does that put us.... We believe what we want to, what we have been programmed to or we modify that programming to allow for us to do what we feel we have a right to do. What we believe will allow us to still live a good life even if it is against the mores and ethics of the church and or the temporal laws. It kind of like going 70 in a 65 MPH zone... We feel we have a right, besides we'll probably not get caught and maybe we just want to see if we will get caught.. Doing things against ones religion is like that to some extent... Maybe God is watching Mary down the street. Maybe I don't believe that my church is right. Maybe heaven and hell are a fabrication of religion to keep us in line... Maybe God was invented by man to explain why things are what they are and why things happen the way they do...
Do we have to reconcile our lives to religious "BELIEFS" or do we live our lives the best way we know. Harm no one if possible. Live life to the fullest, it's too short to play it too safe. Oh and before I forget, someone stated that they love their creator....Isn't that kind of like swinging.... He/She is not our mate. Oh and how about the old testament... All the wives of Solomon and David. How about Isaac... His wife gave him her hand maden and besides if you look at the text... he already had several concubines as did many other biblical figures.... I think maybe we could call them all swingers.....So beat this subject to the ground and in the end it's all up to what you WANT to BELIEVE.
