How many of you clean up/delete friends that haven't responded or aren't really serious about meeting? What's protocol here?
No protocols. Do what you want. We weed the garden every few weeks or so. Why have a friends list full of people who basically just wanted to see your private pics?
We clean house a couple times a year.
It's odd that you show interest, are civil, yet these "friends" don't even acknowledge you. Too bad so many lose civility upon entering the lifestyle. Love the advice from all of you...thank you.

Depends on whether or not you're insured for fire, theft, earthquake and mental illness.

Cuz once seen, they can't be UNseen.

This^^

We only delete if we've accepted a friend request and then find we aren't interested. Otherwise, we keep them there, just in case the mood strikes.
The tricky part about unfriending someone is when you run into them at a party, hit it off, only to have that awkward moment when you both realize you gave them the boot. For us, unless we have zero interest or were flaked on, we see no advantage to unfriending people.
I clean up often if no communication!
We have some people on our friends list who have been there for quite sometime, who we have never played with or even met. We live in a glass house when it comes to this subject. We live really busy lives and finding unencumbered free time not already committed to family and friends is not at all easy to do. Our calendars fill up often weeks in advance. Throw in the unexpected and hooking up is sometimes difficult. We are not going to drop anyone from our friends list just because, like us, they have not yet reached out to take the next step. We are an older couple. Being an older couple we just work on trying to be healthy physically and emotionally and if that causes us to be sexually attractive to others then that
