Meeting couples at places other than lifestyle events/clubs - - We are opening up to more people in the work place and in general to some of our understanding friends. Which so far has been great, infact we've turned a few friends into swingers. We are always open about our sexuality and sex life in general so when people talk to us about stuff and they find out about our lifestyle. They tend to come back later asking more and more about it. Overall the searching through profiles does get old, but we do enjoy seeing new and old friends come on the site. For us the chats and private meets are exciting. its kinda fun to do a bit of searching.

Extramarital Affairs and the Lifestyle - Where do you stand? - There is another issue here, playing with a married male or female posing as a single. Or, swingers having sex with a vanilla cheater. It does go on.

Polyamory/ Polyandry - Info -

I think I came off too negative. Finding the right person or persons in the case of polyamory has a lot to do with becoming the right person and that is within most peoples power. So why the hell not?
Personally I think it is opening yourself to the universe and accepting/ giving love. I have found that so many, including myself, fight againist natural feelings because it is "frowned" upon in society.... Case in point, 1/2 the swingers I know didn't just "jump in" with both feet but once they "let it be and flow" they are much happier. I know I have held back my nature because it might be "scary" or "to intense" for men which has had me go the complete opposite way in which I deny all feelings. And I completely agree, if you fall in love you fall in love, you cannot make someone love you. But your love for another person should not be conditional on them loving you back.
We agree. To love is a reward all it's own. In the end true lovers always end up loving themselves more and understanding themselves more too because of all the insights they gain through their deep considerations and appreciations of those they love.

facebook swingers group utah. - -
Given we have this place... Why do we need a Facebook page? What's broken? What are you trying to fix?
Great question. Look at the new version of Facebook coming out and ask yourself if you really want businesses selling you stuff around the lifestyle, for mom to see. There is nothing private about Facebook. We'd love to know what's going on and realize the ease, but we'd prefer our Grandma, cousins, employer etc... doesn't know.

Added Profile Information - We need your feedback. - Have seen on other sites a computer match auto search that matches the top 10 or 20 profiles that match what you and the others are looking for. This could save a lot of needless looking into others profiles endlessly. Some dating services are set up in a simular manor and it does have its benefits. Also good to have a place for specific ages you are looking for, or others are looking for. That way us vintage stock swingers would not be viewed as trying to bother the younger generation that may view us as pasture ready.

Boise - - There are several bars in the downtown area. China Blue, Dirty Little Rodies, Humpin Hannahs "one of our favorites", and The Balcony. The balcony is a alternative lifestyle bar, you will see almost everything there from openly gay couples, crossdressers and swingers. Its by far our favorite bar to go to...we highly recommend the Balcony. Enjoy your stay and hope you have fun in our great city.

who on swingular tans naked - - I was thinking of starting a thread about swingers/nudists. But this seems like a ggod spot for my question as well (hope it isnt a thread-steal - not the intention). I've been curious how many swingers are actually practicing nudists (not talking about around home or other private practices)? I'm sure there are legitimate research numbers out there. And hopefully, someone in the well-informed populace here usually has answers. We are, and find THAT lifestyle most enjoyable. I guess the other obvious question would be how many nudists are swingers? For the heck of it, my guesses: swingers who are nudists - about 10% nudists who are swingers - about 20% No tan lines here - although I must add that tan lines can be very sexy :) !! swingers who are practicing nudists (

Taking the time... - - I have actually turned down invitations from VERY experienced swingers mindful and concerned about being fully able to play my part in accordance with what I imagine their standards might be and/or probably are. I would prefer, still, to play with less experienced people and learn the ropes, so to speak. One of my interests in pursuing this at all is to learn more about sexuality ... others' as well as my own.

Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!
