swingers parties - - We are new to the lifestyle and are looking for places to meet cpls looking for the same thing we are sex, sex, and more sex.....lol we live in saltville, va and the only ones that we can find are either in knoxville, tn or roanoke, va.... does anyone out there know of anything closer to us?????:i

Curiouscpl91 - Identifying lifestylers - We've found that the best way to ID other swingers is to walk up and grab them by the crotch. It's a known fact that people who swap spouses have a crotch temperature almost 10 degrees higher than the average person. Your chances of correctly identifying a lifestyler by a black ring on the right hand is about the same as it is identifying a "hotwife" because she's wearing an ankle bracelet. Both are mostly urban legends. Trust me, people have been trying almost since day one to figure out a way to find other swingers out and about in the real world. Some have used the yin and yang symbol, some have used an apple with a bite taken out of it. The cold hard truth is that most swingers really don't want vanillas to know they're swingers and thus, wouldn't wear something that would easily "out" them in public as swingers. Don't you think, in this day of instantaneous communication and social media that if there was any kind of universally recognized symbol for swingers that it wouldn't soon become knowledge in the vanilla world? If you really want others to know you're a swinger just wear a t-shirt that spells it out. (Not trying to harsh your buzz MATTANDLIZ.) Traveling - Finding other lifestyle couples while traveling -
We are traveling to Atlanta for New Years and was hoping to find some lifestyle couples there
Lots 'o swingers in Hotlanta. You could prolly find out if there are some local swingsites there and get like a trial membership announcing your travel plans in your profile header. Just a thought.

Elitism in the lifestyle - - Bottom line, there are fucktards everywhere you go in life. Even in the lifestyle. Some of the nicest people we've ever met have been in the lifestyle and also some of the biggest douche canoes. Don't worry about it. If someone acts like a complete twatwaffle just ignore them and find someone who is nice. As long as you (or anyone else) doesn't feel like someone should fuck you just because you both happen to be swingers then everything should be fine. There is absolutely no reason for anyone not to be nice, pleasant and accepting of anyone else in the lifestyle as long as doing so doesn't give the false impression that you are automatically going to fuck them. And the analogy to a few bad apples applies to everyone. Why do you think single males get such a bad rap in swinging? We've found that for the most part you create your own experience in the lifestyle. Developing a thick skin is a really good way to survive and thrive in this little hobby of ours.

Amazing Elite Halloween Party - - Most swingers are respectful. You are certainly in the right crowd. CB&KB

Vegas Club Recommendations? - Heading to Vegas April 9th - 12th - You'll want to consider The Green Door and Couples Oasis. Also, PURRFECTLV holds penthouse parties at the Riviera. You better hurry on that one though as the Rivera Hotel Casino is closing for good at 12 noon Monday May 4th. Might be a good time to catch one final photo with the Crazy Girls butt bronze. Before you go to swingers circle, read the reviews.

Where we focus our attention - Chill out Scully! The sex is out there! -
You take a great point of view about swingers and their attitude towards others. Of course most swingers would not discuss politics or religion when attempting to create a sexy adventure with others. I mean why create a situation for disagreement...nothing sexy in that. Perhaps swingers are more respectful of others as they would wish to be treated that way also. We have wonderful swinger friends that we disagree with politically yet it never seems to dampen our interactions. There are circumstances where anger can add something to a sexual encounter but not often. Maybe revenge sex (very nice indeed), make up sex or break up sex can turn an angry situation into a sexy situation but not often. Its all about attitude and what you hope to accomplish, for us its fun and happy swinging adventures. No disaggreement or contention just respectful people looking for some fun.
I think that perhaps there in a tendency for some people to try and belong, by adopting the prejudices, that might be voiced by the people they are trying to get acceptance from. People who may be a bit less stable emotionally might take that to extremes. Happens in politics and maybe it happens just a bit within the lifestyle community. If the in group that they want to belong to does not prefer a certain type of appearance, gender preference, sexual preference, whatever, they will go out of their way to insult and sort of persecute those sorts of people to try and find favor within their target group. We have gone to meet and greets, where we have been approached by people, who rather than just honestly letting us know they were interested, they spent more time telling us what losers their perception of the majority of the other attendees were and how we were more like them and not like the rest of the crowd. They point out some commonality we might seem to share with them. We don't attend a meet and greet to develop a sense of superiority or inflate our or their egos. We let them know we are very much like the crowd in many ways. When we are really in the moment and really connecting with anyone or anything, do we think in terms of our ego? Or do sublime moments remove us from the burden of ego? Ego can make wall flowers of any of us, if it overrides our curiosity, humanity and sense of adventure. Maybe sex can be such a sublime healing event that all those differences and all the self labeling that seem so important get reframed. Do we see realty more clearly in the afterglow?

Finding Connections - Do the majority of swingers wait to be approached? - For context, I'm the male of the couple and have been on a single male profile for most of my time on this site. I don't think I've ever actually met anyone for the first time from this website. I send out the occasional email, and I get approached every once in a while, but nothing ever happens. For me, this was a place to stay connected with the people that I met in person, at parties and events and things like that. It has been a much more effective tool for that than for meeting people. But like I said, I was a single male profile for a very long time. Now that we're on an account together, we might have more luck meeting other couples on here. We'll have to wait and see. As for being approached... it varies. If it's someone I'm not interested in, I do usually try to reply and let them know that it's not going to work for whatever reason. I don't do that as often for single males, because I've had some bad experiences with them harassing me afterwards, but for couples I personally try to reply. Not everybody does, and I imagine that for some people who get lots of requests it would become time-consuming to reply to everyone.

Married fellas with a hall pass - - If we know a couple, and they are both swingers, and they both have hall passes, then we feel comfortable playing with them together or alone. Honesty matters! Singles that really are single, sure why not. Married men or married women playing without their wife or their husband, without permission should not contact us. We are not judging them and yes we do not know the whole story but we are never-the-less very uncomfortable with any such arrangements and we will say no. Even if they claim that they have permission, we will say no to that too, unless maybe we meet their significant other, and even then probably no. If someone tells us they have permission, and their significant other knows about it, doesn't care, but doesn't want to know anything about it. Hell no. 99.999999999% of the time they are lying. It is not something we are interested in pursuing. Guys doing this, you should know, that more often then you might have imagined, the wife finds out about your profile.
