We have been to the meet and greets too and we don't go very often and have not been to one in ages. Maybe twice a year we hit one but when we do go we pretty much introduce ourselves to everybody and if we missed someone we didn't mean to. You do have to be proactive to be successful in meeting people or at least reactive in a positive fashion when someone interesting approaches you. We have been to Habits and ended up leaving with someone, but we had already had a bit of friendly back and forth somehow with the people we left with or it was someone we met previously and had at least chatted a bit. We think we have only been there maybe five times altogether. Well, maybe Mr. Delicious will put on a collared shirt just in case we head that way but for now we are thinking maybe the Green Pig sounds fun.

But this site has it the most since couple v single males for a lot of us old time swingers we've learned to adapt to the changes screen all request piture or not and weed out the not real head gamers to where others still think its couples only hobby.

Taking one for the team - Put a picture of your male half in your profile! - First of all, NOBODY should fuck someone they don't want to fuck. Having said that, though, we've found that "taking one for the team" is usually somewhat relative. It seems to quite often be the case that if you actually LOOK hard enough for attractive qualities in other people you are apt to find them. At least one or two qualities! LOL
We've almost never encountered another couple where one of us was attracted to one of them and their partner was completely unattractive. I guess if someone is reasonably attractive they're pretty unlikely to end up with someone who isn't attractive at all.
But we've also found (and yes, we're guilty of this sometimes as well) that many people sort of get in their own way, so to speak, when it comes to looking for people to play with and, often, almost look for reasons NOT to play and, in effect, end up talking themselves out of playing.
When we first started in the lifestyle it was FAR more labor-intensive (no internet swingsites) to look for other couples and there were far fewer swingers as well so if you were extremely picky you pretty much didn't ever actually end up playing. By the time most people jumped through all the hoops you had to jump thru to find other couples most people were pretty predisposed to playing, unless they were really turned off for some reason.
Now, it seems like there are just so many options, literally right at our fingertips, that perhaps it's just a little too easy to keep swiping left...always looking for the bigger, better deal. Again, don't fuck someone you really don't want to fuck but also, maybe, consider digging just a little deeper and see if you can't find something compelling about a person that could lead to a really great time in bed. The elusive unicorn.... - Any such creatures here? How many couples have caught one? - Married here with a single female profile. When I swing, I always do so as a single. I've run into several women who do something similar to me or as shared above, who swing with known couples and friends their partners have approved. There certainly are truly single female swingers on here but my experience has been they don't stay single or around terribly long.
Some advice....I've participated in quite a few FFM swinging experiences and the very first thing I look for is being treated as an individual, not just a walking vagina serving up your fantasies. Unicorn hunting can be pretty toxic for the extra F, which burns most of us out quickly. This isn't meant to sound harsh just a reminder to not lose sight of the real people involved and how much that can enhance the experience. Personally, I don't respond to people who don't read the profile, don't treat me as a person rather than a fantsy fullfiller or who want the quick, easy, goodbye focused hookup. I like to enjoy the human(s) I'm with as it enhances the sex for me.
OP.. what does incorporate a unicorn into your lives look like? If it's more polyamorous focused, any advice you get from swinging will probably not serve you super well. We were actually sort of semi-active back when we started (And of course lied thru our teeth during bishop interviews.LOL). And we've known at least half a dozen couples over the years who were outed (Usually by other swingers who for some reason decided they needed to confess or were pissed because someone stopped fucking them and decided to "name names".) and exed. :-(
This reminds us of one of our fav swinging stories. We knew a couple who LOVED to party. Almost every single Sunday, after having a LOT of sex Saturday night, they sent us a text to tell us they felt guilty and were quitting the lifestyle. And almost every single Wednesday or Thursday we'd get ANOTHER text asking us where the parties were for the coming weekend. LOL! Sadly, they're divorced now, but it was a running joke about them in the little swinging circle we were active with at the time.
