There's been an interesting discussion on another swing site we're on about some of this topic and an old timer on there (who's now divorced) brought up something that we found interesting and that seems to be fairly ubiquitous in the lifestyle. It turns out that most women who have been in the lifestyle for a decent length of time have at one time or another (multiple times for Ms. Evil and some of the ladies we've known for some time) been told by a play partner (more often by a single male or even more often a vanilla guy...lot's of swingers seem to get a thrill out of vanilla hunting I guess) that if they were THEIR partner they would NEVER share them with another man. Think about that for a minute. With the way most women are raised and the messages society pounds into their heads about love, romance, fidelity, etc., how powerful are those words are. In fact let's take a little poll. Are there any women who've been in the lifestyle for, say, at least 5 years and play fairly frequently who have never had a guy tell them or insinuate that? We will be the first to admit that we have met the least judgemental people of our lives through our experience in the lifestyle. Things don't always click but that should be expected. To give this woman the soapbox and state that people were pushy and basically force you into something was bullshit. Especially after stating that she was the 5th grader that never got picked for the team. She had a bad marriage period. Trying this out with an unstable relationship makes about as much sense as buying a new house and thinking that will make things better. A house does not make a home.

I’m defense of single males - Funny old geezers - Here’s my two cents on why there is so much distain for single males on this site. First, the very name of this site suggests that it’s a platform for swingers, meaning SM are barking up the wrong trees. Yes, there are definitely couples on here who like MFM etc (i certainly do) but the fact that it is predominantly a swinger site should suggest to single guys that they and what they offer only appeals to a small subset of people here, and they should lay low and take a back seat rather than trying to be front and center. In my opinion, single guys should feel like guests here. They’re the third wheel, after all. We know there are single guys who are ready and willing to fuck our wives…let us come to you rather than being in our face. Any guy with even average EQ should understand this.
Second and just as important….maybe think twice before you hit “submit” on a comment you want to make because more often than not the comments from single guys are cringe-worthy. If you hid the profiles of a random set of comments, I guarantee I could pick which were written by the single guys.
You say, “I do however, love being a third and love meeting new people and wish to get more involved. “. Yes, you and every single male on the planet. Single males…do you have a place here? Sure. But your place is not to make up 50% of the content when a MUCH smaller percentage of people here are interested. Back into the woodwork a little bit and you might get a better reception.
