This one time at Swingers Camp - Discussion about N by N camp out - Oh what a fun and exciting camp out this year! It was so nice meeting up with friends i haven't see for some time and fun and exciting to make meet new folks and make new friends. Party Etiquette - How do people manage risks? - Mr here. So, the party that we went to before Halloween was a good party. It seemed much like another orgy that I participated in a few years ago, except this time I had Ms. Honeybunny with me :) That made me a little more aware of how people were interacting with each other, and I have a few questions about etiquette in those situations.
Obviously, protection is important for a number of reasons, and pretty much everybody there was using condoms, cleaning toys after use, etc.
However, one thing that I did not notice anybody using was dental dams or any kind of protection for oral sex. In a world where 70% of Americans have some form of herpes, for example, how do you deal with the risk of contracting it if you don't? Or what if you have other STDs? I would hope that if you have a temporary STD like chlamydia you would avoid lifestyles events until it cleared up, but nobody was talking about it. What if you have a more permanent STD, like the herpes mentioned above? Or AIDS? Or HPV? Two of those are really common, but also relatively harmless; do people just assume that other swingers do/don't have them or that the risk in not meaningful? I didn't really hear anybody talking about it, but I"m not sure if that's unusual or not. What's the typical protocol for situations like that?
Also, now that I'm thinking about it. What would be the protocol if you DID pick something up from an event?
Hosting a swingers Party - - As far as I can tell by reading the questioners post, it doesn't seem like he's running a club, a business or a for profit gathering. It sounds like he's just looking to recover shared cost. If that's the case, he doesn't need a lic. & he doesn't need to ask for donations. He's simply renting a suite for a party, and he expects those that have agreed to come to pay their share of the costs. There is nothing illegal about that. And unless he's violating a condition of the room rental, he really shouldn't have anything to fear. If he IS looking for profit, he'll have a lot more to worry about than just the police showing up at his door. Joe

Divorce rates - How do we compare - My husband and I began swinging together after a month of dating after I, the wife, suggested it and have now been happily married for over 3 years and together almost 4. Doesn't always have to be a pushy husband or a doomed marriage. How about 2 people who love sex and watching their SO be pleased by others? Good communication and a healthy amount of trust and security help as well I suppose. But giving a negative stigma to Swingers that our marriages are doomed seems silly. We LOVE to pretend that we're vanilla and let people who are obvious swingers pick us up and "seduce" us (This is especially easy to do in Vegas for some reason.). It's really quite fun. Playboy TV's new show SWING.... - So who all caught the first episode? - We had a ton of fun doing the show and it was very unscripted. They would of course plan the games etc, but what happened, happened. Nothing was forced as far as interaction. What you DONT see on the show is the hours of sitting around and answering the newbies questions and making them understand the mindset and how we live life. In fact, they actually did a good job at minimizing the drama and making a very comfortable situation for all.
The funniest part of the show was actually the crew...they came in with a lot of pre-conceived notions about swingers and by the end of taping we had made some great friends and their minds had changed dramatically about the lifestyle and the people in it. In fact we kept joking about interviewing them and getting their feedback.
Kudos to PBOYTV for showing our lifestyle in a very positive light.!
