Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - i agree if the media changed the facts of the story, but i am sorry i don\'t agree with the post right above mine who was at the party and said that the kids were suppose to be in bed past midnight. I am 28 and male and if i was the 15 year old kid, i would have gotten a kick out of it, but i agree with him that it would be uncomfortable had i been with an 11 year old sister or with my parents...i mean i would have wanted to look but would have been embarrassed around the family...none of us should be telling paretns what time their kids should be going to bed on new years eve. when i was a kid, i would be out with my parents till 1 or 2 in the morning...i don\'t think we should be condoning the parents of those kids. I think the fault is completely at the hands of the hotel. they knew the swingers were going to be there, they shouldn\'t have had the soccer family there too, considering they had the party last year too and knew well in advance what was planned. I love swing parties, house nad clubs and otherwise, but i don\'t think we should blame parents for not having their kids in beds. the hotel should have warned the families...especially knowing that there would be a glass atrium that the swing party would be in...

OK LETS BE HONEST - - We got into the lifestyle because my wife was bi but didn't want to admit it to herself. Raised Catholic and it would be a mortal sin?????? All she had to do was see a woman naked and she got totally wet... I was aware of this for years but she insisted not.. We started going to a club to the socials and she loosened up slowly. At some point one of the women took her to her room and they got it on.. Then she went with another women and got it on another time... I didn't care that I wasn't there because it was for her not for me anyway. So now we are in the lifestyle at her whim... It was never about me in the first place... The lifestyle has made her more open to herself and freer, more able to talk about sexual things. In the 9 or so years that we've been in the lifestyle I learned that while many times men get their wives into the lifestyle it is the wives that keep them in the lifestyle. Further, women completely control the lifestyle. It's kind of like the old expression; "If a man says he's boss at home, I wonder what else he lies about". The lifestyle is much like that. From discussions with other swingers I find that just a many wives get their husbands involved in the lifestyle as mwn do. I don't know about other places like UT or CO or TX but in NC, SC, VA, and many in FL the women rule the lifestyle and I wouldn't have it any other way. [/quote] I think it depends on what you're looking to get out of swinging and what you value in a sexual experience. While I agree with some of your points I also know from experience that different partners/playmates can bring many different things to the table. I've been with women who were absolutely amazing kissers. I've met play partners who knew little sex "tricks" that had never occured to me or to my primary partner that we've been able to incorporate in our own play. I've been fortunate to have sex with women who brought an amazing level of enthusiasm and energy to our encounters. And, lastly, and perhaps even more important, I've met and played with women who I wasn't necessarily immediately attracted to but who I became VERY attracted to once I got to know them a little better and the sex was mind-blowing. I've ultimately learned not to judge a book by it's cover. That physical attraction isn't necessarily the ENTIRE package. And that what makes a person a great sex partner sometimes transcends the purely physical. YMMV Ultimately you are likely get out of swinging more or less what you expect to get out of swinging. Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Maybe the more appropriate question is "Why so much hate for single males in the swinger's world". One of the issues could be that they are seen as diners who bring nothing to the table. Yes, you might say there is something for the lady so all is good. However, the issue is "What do they bring to the table that the host wants?". If the husband is being left out, do you think he is going to be happy? Once or twice, maybe. If many times he will not be happy and she will not be either. Yes, some couples are looking for single males only because of some reason or other. Many are wanting it to be an all way experience. For us, the risk of the baggage outweighs the potential gains. Why? Because the few times we tried it, we had a bad time. So, what is our incentive to go ahead and try again and again? Well, you could say that there might be a bunch of good single guys just around the corner if we just tried again. Fair enough. However, since we both are not really interested in single men or single women, the gains would be slight, if any. For a couple that is not interested in a single male, what is their benefit? Probably little, if any. So, how would you go about enticing them? Probably going to be a hard sell. Little to gain and the potential for a problem. Add that to the fact that they see the single guy who is in abundance, brings nothing they care for and you have the nuisance factor. Now, with us, a couple could also be problems. However, we are more tempted to risk it because of the rewards it could bring. more importantly, the rewards it could bring THAT WE WANT. With the single male, the rewards would be something we don't really care for so the risk of a problem is a negative. I don't care for a BMW. I'm a Mercedes man. You might say that both are made in Germany and quality vehicles, etc, etc. However, I might be willing to pay $40K for a Mercedes while a BMW of the same value might be worth only $30K to me. Or if my dad had nothing but trouble with BMWs and when I was young, so did I, it might be worth $5K to me.
