I'm a hater. Will you be a hater too? - Warning, the rats ass just ranted all over the floor! - Brent, I have to disagree with you to a cetain degree. I have seen many couples gravitate to other couples. Also as a single male, I have even been blessed enough to find the occasional couple or single lady looking for it. The best thing to do is to keep a positive attitude and keep trying. Eventually something should come your way. Instant, I am sorry you guys are having such a hard time finding playmates. All I can say is that it is their loss. As others have told you before, this is largely a numbers game. If you are in an area without a large proportion of swingers then it will be harder for you. I did like the way you found your fun though. I would have loved to be in that bar on that night.

Northern Utah Party ... Damn It! - We WILL hunt you down ... - SWINGERS??? Oh shit!!! I thought we were just trying an "alternative lifestyle". Hmmmm last time I jumped from a SWING...it hurt like hell!!! But the last time I just slid nice & easy into open arms...it was a good landing!

can we swing and still not be in sin ? - - Since I've been sucked into the swirling vortex of this thread, the only way I can feel like I haven't been robbed of the last 1/2 hr (give or take) of my life is to add my .02 Ok, I know I could just chalk it up to that which doesn't kill me only makes me stronger, but adding my input seems more satisfying. I'll start off by saying that if you are doing this much research regarding religions and what they allow or don't allow regarding sexual activity it has to make me wonder if you're seriously considering converting to another religion just to save yourself the guilt of sin brought upon by whatever religion you happen to be at the moment. All religions have been formed and molded over the years by people. People who are not perfect, who have their own agendas. A sense of right and wrong doesn't come solely from religion. Many religions would like you to think that in an attempt to keep you in their camp and they'll be more than happy to tell you what is right and wrong for the rest of your life (in case you can't think for yourself). But if you have to switch religions just so that you can sleep at night after a fun-filled evening of swinging, you have some other things to figure out. Or perhaps you should just start you're own religion, where you can make all the rules. In any case, I think its fairly safe to say that most religions believe quite strongly that those of us engaging in the swinging lifestyle are sinning by engaging in immoral activities, just cuz they don't use the actual word sin, doesn't mean anything. Its just more politically correct these days to say immoral. In any case though, they most certainly believe that we (swingers) will most definitely be going to a very special level of hell, a level reserved for... (sorry, narrowly avoided an obsure pop culture reference) As for me, yes I believe there is a God. And one of the few things that I think is accurately stated repeatedly in the bible is to love thy neighbor and I'm more than happy to spread the love around in whatever way/shape is available to me. -SG

West/Midwest vs. South Swinger population - - So we have noticed that Utah has a majority of the swing-ulation (swing population) on the site and we're thinking it's because here in Ut. We are denied such liberties such as good beer, gay marriage, being able to buy booze in the grocery store, legalized pot, a corner or city block that dosen't have a Mormon church on it, or a town without a Temple being planned or built! So we figure Utah swingers are mostly either church defectors or people who are just plain fed up with our Mormon dictated state so what we do we do to rebel?? We hump each other alot lmao Utah is here by tagged as the Swinger Capitol of the Great United States of America!! So God bless Utah and this guys wife blowing me lol

Bucket list - -

Ours is to pick up a vanilla couple in a vanilla setting and convert them to the lifestyle with us being their first experience.
Check. We don't know if we converted them, but we are confident that we are their most interesting vacation story. šŸ˜‰
We LOVE to pretend that we're vanilla and let people who are obvious swingers pick us up and "seduce" us (This is especially easy to do in Vegas for some reason.). It's really quite fun. Only once did we let the cat out of the bag and told them afterwards that we're actually seasoned swingers. They got quite pissed. [em]Emo_49[/em]

what the f#%@ was he thinking? - swingers still deserve respect - I would turn him in and get him kicked off this site. What an Ass.

Is it a ā€œpreferenceā€ or is it ā€œ discriminationā€ - -

Discrimination can be against non-physical attributes as well (Political and religious are the two most obvious nowadays.) But I would call almost everything else a preference, at least as far as swinging is concerned. One of the biggest hurdles we found when we first entered the lifestyle was people who were upset that, for whatever reason, we didn't want to fuck them. Their mindset was, "We're swingers and you're swingers so what's the problem? Let's fuck!" We did, eventually, come to the realization that in some instances our first impression, based on looks or whatever, could be overcome, in time, by getting to know people better and eventually finding a different kind of attractiveness that trumped simple physical attraction. YMMV
Oh of course discrimination can be against non-physical ... my question was can a non-physical attribute be just a preference and not be discrimination .. it sounds like you think so ... other than maybe with political or religious? Hmmm so letā€™s say someone keenly despises Trump, or Bernie (not that anyone does lol) .... like really canā€™t stand them. And someone crazy hot that LOVEs Trump, like wears a red MAGA hat loves, wants to hook up ... Could the political disposition ā€œpreferenceā€ still be only a preference, and not discrimination, if it gets in the way of any possible sexual attraction ?
Holy shit! You mean it messes me up when I wear my MAGA hat in sexual situations (Though I prefer a more discriminatory MAGA hat "Make Adam God Again" The Mormon Vatican peeps will understand that one)? I thought everyone got turned on by Trump. Ask him... He will tell you. He is the best at ______. šŸ¤£ i freaking loved your example by the way, hilarious and good point. Great example, totally got the visual! šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

sluts? what? - how so? -

There is a book called "The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities" written by Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy that defines Slut in a positive light. They might be using slut in that context. The book has been very popular with swingers for quite a few years.
I would hope they are using it in that sense.. but words that compile around the slut term make it strongly seem like it's a negative term.. sadly..
If they are using it in a derogatory sense it may be because they are experiencing a certain level of self loathing because they are struggling to accept their own sexual nature or they may have peers and family that would do their best to destroy them were they to live so free as you are. I think that the anger that leads to name calling and judgment sometimes is a secondary emotion that people choose to embrace because the primary emotion is much more painful. They may want what you have but lack the confidence or courage to go find it for themselves and so the same people that call someone a slut in the derogatory sense far too often are the same people that go off and struggle with their own sexuality in dark places through lying, cheating, abuse and even darker acts while swimming in a sea of self loathing. We should all jump up and down and be happy that you are free or striving to become free of such shackles!

what the f#%@ was he thinking? - swingers still deserve respect - We get that kind of response from single men all the time. We like doing MFM 3somes but that turns my wife off so we just delete them and wait until we write the men. We even have on our profile no single men but they write anyway. You're right though HOTTYZX2, that guy should be shown some respect in a back alley somewhere.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Posted By: TEQUILAROSE Reply posted on: Jan 8, 2008 - 1:35 pm Aklim, The CDC tells you that more pitbulls are prone to abuse. You are trying to justify your hate, by reading what you want. So if you need to justify your hate of pit bulls, with the CDC stats, would you also do the same against, blacks (drug dealers), whites (serial killers), asians(little dicks), native americans(drunks)? I don't buy it. It just stereotyping pure and simple. TR, I was trying to make a point that people use the raw statistics to justify their point. Seeing as I had a Pit Bull and now an Am Staff, and play with them all the time, I don't think you can say I hate them. And NO. I don't believe the CDC either. At least not till they can prove to me that WITHOUT human influence, the Pit Bulls tend to be more dangerous. Yes, it is stereotyping. As I said, it has some basis in the fact that there are a few that people have run into. However, when looked on as a whole, it might not show the same light.
