No mater if a person is a swinger or not most of us have a wrist watch and when we wear it it's on the left wrist and face on the out side yes a lot of people don't bother to wear it anymore they just look at their phone, so not only wear it, but put it on the right wrist and face on the inside of the wrist, if someone calls you on it and either you don't fancy them or think they are vanilla just having a dig at you, then all you have to say is "Really, swingers wear their watch like this!" and say thanks as you are taking it off and moving it back to the other side! Latter you can move it back again.

Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - That would be a general definition. However, sometimes the devil is in the details. With that definition, poly couples would be termed in the same group as swingers under the banner of libertine. So would soft swingers, etc, etc. We feel the definitions are kinda important because it causes awkwardness and waste of time if we don't know what we are getting into. For instance, if we talk and you are soft swingers, we now know we won't get anywhere fast because we are not into soft swinging. You, OTOH, will not have the awkward moment where we get together and at the last minute, we do something you don't like. IMO the labels help us filter out what we want from what we don't want.

They are married,do you concider them "single" then?My wife got my into the Lifestyle about 8 years ago and then she passed away 4 years ago,does that mean now that i am "single" that i shouldnt be in the Lifestyle? I am looking for a partner in the lifestyle and its not easy.I think that people who think "singles" shouldnt be in the Lifestyle really dont know what the Lifestyle is or what it represents.Sure,sex is a HUGE part of it but its not ALL of it.To me the Lifestyle represents the idea of people being themselves without being judged or riticuled for what the like or believe.Its about Adults being Adults doing Adult things with other likeminded Adults.Sex is the by-product of likeminded Adults getting together and having that certain "Spark",chemistry if you will,with the people they are around.To me,thats what the Lifestyle is about.If i am single,does that mean that i should give up those ideas and beliefs? The idea of the black ring has been around for a long time. As early as the 60's by some accounts. However it is not generally well known. As such it's very uncommon to see anyone wearing them in public. Mrs. DandD and I have only seen one other couple wearing them and we have only had one other couple notice ours that we know of.
It's also important to to note that black rings carry different meanings depending on who is wearing them. Members of the of homosexual community have been known to wear them on the right hand ring finger to indicate marriage when living where marriage was not legal for them. Members of the [url=http://www.asexuality.org/home/]AVEN[/url] community wear them on the middle finger of the right hand to identify each other. Finally swingers wear them on the right hand but not on the middle finger generally out of respect for and, I'm guessing, to avoid being confused as member of the AVEN community.
